   My husband and I stayed in the Embassy-Vanderbilt and had the chance to eat at their restaurant. It was DELICIOUS! The manager, George Yani, stated they had a new menu and suggested some items. He was very kind and hospitable. The service from the staff was GREAT and we had the wings along with a new pasta dish. I will definitely be going again!

   We did not end up eating there. Unfortunately, they were so understaffed that the only one server they had never came up to acknowledge us. We waited over 20 minutes to see if we could get a table. Only a handful of people in there and none of them had food.

   The best part: the waiter was attentive and polite. Service was good. The rest: Food took about 30 minutes to arrive at the table. The food was less than impressive. The menu on the website has more options than the actual menu in the restaurant. I wanted the drake & boar burger which was no longer on the menu. Settled for the southern jucy lucy. Sonic drive in makes a better burger in my opinion. Wasn’t served with bacon ketchup. Presentation wasn’t good. Got the same old Heinz like anywhere else. From the squirt bottle. My date got the fish and chips. Fish was soggy. Slaw was watered down. The beer cheese soup was pretty decent. Didn’t think this was going to be a “hotel restaurant” going in, but in my opinion, not worth the money. It seems like a cool menu and concept online but unfortunately it just didn’t deliver. Wouldn’t recommend.

   We made the reservation for 11 people for a bachelorette party. It confirmed in open table. When we arrived they couldn't find our reservation and told us we would have to wait for over an hour and the kitchen was an hour behind. Very frustrating. We left.

   We felt that we were wined and dined for sure! The staff was so accommodating and friendly. The kitchen personally checked on us and brought us cookies on the house. We felt so appreciated. The ambiance is a little less than a fancy Resteraunt bc it's in the Embassy and our uber drivers had a hard time finding it because we weren't aware of that! Otherwise it's away from the noise and more private and the food is Fantastic!!

   I had the cornbread gumbo and the cornbread was delicious when combined with the flavors of the Gumbo. The service was fantastic. They really made us feel welcome.

   This the lobby bar restaurant of the embassy suites near vandy. The place was empty except for two at the bar and the staff is also running room service. Overall my recommendation would be a pass on this spot . The server was friendly but food and quality was not even average.

   20 min to make a burger and no one was on the place. Ordered a wine and they didn't have the brand. Go somewhere else

    Had reservation for 4 at 8pm. Got there hardly anyone in the restaurant. We waited about 10 mins before anyone even approached us. Then when I said we had a reservation at 8. The guy said oh let me check and see if your table is ready. Then he had to go to the back and find a table. All the tables were open. Waiter seemed like he was annoyed we were there. Over all not the best experience. Especially for a New Years Eve celebration.
