The buffet area was a bit too crowded at times making it challenging for the elderly. When the price of a seat is almost $50, one doesn't expect to fight for a place in a long line. The centerpiece for the meal was a well stocked trough of assorted crab which was very good. Prime rib and crab legs were the star of the night however, we were expecting more variety of sea food. The choices of food are excellent if you like Asian cuisine. I have read a lot of bad reviews but they must of had bad seating or didn't like the price because this place is awesome. I definitely recommend a reservation at this place as if you don't the wait time can be a little while. This place is good for special occasions, bringing out of town people to waikiki, as well as people with a big appetite. The food was very good, especially for a buffet. If you go on Saturday make sure to come with an empty stomach so you can eat the crab. The crab here is just as good as a "five star" restaurant where you would be paying double the price what you pay here, and best of all it is all you can eat. Loved the crab, shrimp and variety of sushi and desserts.
Table server was very courteous and quick in bringing and refilling our drinks. The view of the large fish tank is amazing as well.
Kamaaina rates offerer to residence of the island, but priced a bit to high, I thought. Other than that perfect. Reservations at least

It can be done online.2/22/2013 12:00:00 AMYay for roast suckling pig!We heard about the roast suckling pig offered on the Oceanarium buffet on Tuesdays and HAD to check it out. It was awesome! I also loved the pasta station & the prime rib. My friend really liked the dungeness crab. We all had a great meal and left very statisfied. I would like to suggest green onion & cilantro/chinese parsley as add-ins to the suckling pig and buns.2/19/2013 12:00:00 AM
