  • "This restaurant is a rare find as the menu changes and is printed new daily based upon available seafood and produce.It has a great ambiance as you can hear the steady buzz of conversations as the other tables. The wait staff is very knowledgeable and aimed at providing each table with a fine dining experience. The food is impeccable as we had perfectly prepared oysters Rockefeller for our appetizer along with a perfectly selected bottle of wine. Our main course consisted of paella and red grouper, and lastly, we finished with creme brûlée and bread pudding for dessert. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for business dinners or special nights out. The ease of online reservations will make your next dining experience hassle free. "

  • "We ate at Highlands on a Friday and at Ocean the next day, Saturday, and the meals were some of the best in America if you do not care how much you pay for dinner. Confession: we ordered appetizers, salads, entrees and desert as well as wine. Flawless at both locations. Both are first class and we could not decide which is better."

However, our table for two was TOO Small and we felt a bit cramped, it was not a romantic setting but I did appreciate the valet parking and prompt reservation confirmation."

  • "An out of town friend and I had dinner at Ocean. Once again, the menu was impressive and it was difficult to decide what to have. I tried the Baby Kale salad which was delicious. It was fresh, the Kale had a very good flavor without being sharp, and the other fresh ingredients together made it be a great spring salad. We decided to have appetizers as our main course because we were sure we needed dessert. The crab cakes were mostly lump crab meat and wonderful. Then, for dessert, I decided to have the ice cream selection. All three flavors were distinctive and delicious, but my favorite was the Lemon Basil--it was incredible."

  • "I always love the way it smells like wood grilling when you walk into Ocean. They have an extensive menu and lots of fresh fish. We were disappointed by a few things. The table we got was so tiny it was hard to fit everything on it. The bottle of white wine was not crisply chilled. The gin and tonic tasted like they forgot the tonic; when we mentioned this to the waiter he didn't even comment. "

  • "This restaurant is my city's destination for whole lobster, but was disappointed to learn 15 minutes after my guest and I had ordered that there were no whole lobsters available. The server should have known this at the time of ordering. Then, when I requested the menu back, she stood over my table waiting for me to order. A little awkward. I began to ask her questions about the menu, and the replies were very short and not as helpful as I would have expected. One example, Mushroom soup was the soup Du jour. When I asked her about it, she seemed 'stunned' that I would have a question about the soup. She replied ' It is mushroom soup'. I really expected some description of the types of mushrooms, the texture and taste, etc."

They must have spilled my wife's Manhattan on the way to the table as it arrived 3/4 full while similar cocktails for others were to the brim. The descriptions of the food are deceptive--sounds like you are getting a generous portion, but they are just listing the ingredients. It is made all the worse by serving it on a large plate."

Reservations are highly recommended here. Otherwise a lengthy wait on a Friday or Saturday will be in store. I chose the reservation recommendation. Upon arrival the valet parking is the best choice. My wife and I were greeted and subsequently seated within 3 minutes. The service was great as was the food quality. The entree pricing with relation to the overall food portion size concerned me a little. This place is not for a "hearty" eater. I expected a larger portion for a meal as pricey as this one. Especially having been to many comparable restaurants abroad."
