Cant wait to go back.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMMother's Day Brunch a Success!On Mother's Day 2013 Ocean Prime offered two menus, starting at 11 a.m. The normal "full" menu was available and they added a "Brunch" special menu. I was most pleasantly surprised by the "Brunch" menu; not only were the choices fine, but Ocean Prime elected to offer the selections at (for this restaurant) what I would consider to be "bargain basement" prices.
My wife and I had drinks, a "Brunch" menu entree each, coffee, orange juice, and Baked Alaska as a follow up for little more than the price of normally expected of a single entree off of the "full" menu. The food was, of course, excellent and the service was, as always, top notch.
We always have a nice experience at Ocean Prime.

We took a chance by going on Mother's Day, since many restaurants have poor food and service on holidays, but not at Ocean Prime. Everything was perfect! I have many food allergies. They were able to accommodate all my needs and still come up with a delicious meal for me. My husband and son were also very pleased with their food. The service was likewise wonderful. Our wait staff was attentive to our needs, did not rush us, and yet served us in a timely fashion. Ocean Prime is a beautiful restaurant on top of everything else. Our server had asked about the reason for our visit to which we replied that it was our anniversary. For dessert, the plate had "Happy Anniversary" written in chocolate. The atmosphere was amazing as well as the waitstaff. The food was outstanding and desert was over the top. Very nice portions for the prices. The service is always superb. hours with long periods between courses. I value Ocean Prime's quality and will continue to frequent for special occasions in the life of our growing family. However, I would not recommend it for high traffic days around holidays and nationally celebrated special occasions and, if doing so would like to specify seating..
However, we had a party of six - 6PM reservations the evening before Mothers' Day. Not a good option. We were seated at a round table in the middle of the room. The noise was uncomfortably loud - discussion next to impossible. Wait staff was stretched too thin.
