Mains were blackened snapper & larger filet. We shared, making surf-n-turf combos. Snapper was very good, a large portion, just too much spice & cream sauce overwhelmed the delicate flavor. Filet was superb, best we've ever had anywhere! Exactly as ordered, needed only a butter-knife! We really enjoyed the live pianist and his music being piped into each dining room throughout the restaurant.
The food is very good; not the best in town but very good nonetheless. The service started out good but slacked off as the evening progressed. I'm not going to blame this on O.P. as much as I am going to say this is just the way it is nowadays. Very few restaurants offer service that will exceed your expectations; it's a societal issue. The entire experience from valet drop off to getting our vehicle upon departure could not have been more perfect. We look forward to coming back very, very soon.
