"I liked the food, service and general ambiance but the music was too loud in the dining areas even those furthest away from the music. It was extremely difficult to carry on a conversation. I have been there before when the music was not so intrusive. I liked the music, but I would have preferred to enjoy it after the meal by moving to the music area, which I have done in the past."

"Was visiting from out of town so thought we'd give it a try. I was expecting something more Applebee's like, based solely on the name of the restaurant. Upon arriving I was pleasantly suprised. Modern decor, beautiful restaurant, and high end looking entrees. Food was great and so was the service. I hear that they have live music but I think we were there too early for that. Great place!"

"Memet, the owner, is super gracious. Oak Street has done so much to encourage the local music scene. We enjoyed hearing music all during dinner. The atmostphere is pleasant and comfortable. Food was delicious. My wife and I like the Mediterranean salad--very fresh and light. We both had the spinach and ricotta ravioli in pesto sauce--prepared just right. A very enjoyable evening on all counts."

"We went to see a band play and decided to have dinner. The music was great and the food very enjoyable. Our wait staff was friendly. We're amazed that there is a place in Menlo Park where you can go for dinner and live music and there is no cover charge. What a find."
