"Excellent. 4.5 stars (5 is extra-special). Delicious and creative and beautiful. Cuisine as art form. I appreciate the Small Plates menu--wish it were even longer--because an full entree is just too much food on one plate. Great salads and Beef w/ Grits was awesome. Also, a GREAT selection of creative cocktails--I look forward to trying them all, over time. Mixology as art form. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff though less than flawless."

"First, the cocktais were amazing!! Go there for those alone. The food was much too rich. Nearly every course was overwhelmed with a nuttiness, sweetness, or other dominant that was one dimensional. There were other flavors, but they couldn't shine through. The noise was annoying too - all bare surfaces really create San echo chamber. I really hoping for improvement because this place has serious potential!"

"Unique and interesting food and beverage offerings. Wait staff was friendly and helpful with the just right amount of input. We enjoyed our entrees and dessert, and were especially intrigued by the drinks which were completely new and delicious."
