It was a culinary delite to partake of the fresh baked cranberry loaf( palateal extacy), a pretzel, 26oz. long bone cowboy ribeye which was seared to perfection with your initials etched therein( note skip a meal or two before attmpting to consume this succulent behemoth),two cold water african lobster tails and baked potato. Be advised a carryout container will be in order because a meal so scrumtiously prepared deserves the upmost respect.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent dinner & serviceWe're been to NYY several times because we love their menu, but this was easily one of the best experiences. The restaurant manager has definitely worked out the issues which were present in this upscale restaurant when it first opened. Service was excellent! The kitchen prepared our shrimps, steak and lobster tails exactly right the first time without having to send them back for being undercooked. The pre-dinner hand towels were hot, the bread basket was hot, our salads were perfect and cold. It could not have been a better dining experience. The staff does not rush you through the courses. The kitchen is behind glass so you can watch preparation. Yankee fans can admire photos of Yankee players and try to decipher names on the signature wall. Our waiter was very helpful, funny and friendly. Cranberry bread and soft pretzels in place of the usual bread basket was a welcome surprise. Salads were a nice size and delicious. The Ahi Tuna was huge. Sides of skillet potatoes (delicious) and asparagus (a tad undercooked) were enough to share. Not typical of South Florida, more typical of Vegas that you would go to a casino for a fine dinner and not care about gambling.
Sunday night in late April was not busy. Great experience. Dry aged NY strip flavorful and perfectly cooked. Scallops and crab cakes appetizers were both moist, delicious and beautifully presented. One bone of contention was in the restaurant reception area where 4 separate hostesses did not even look up from their work to greet let alone smile and/or welcome my party. This seems completely out of place in a fine dining establishment. As noted from my above review everything went uphill from that moment on though. The service is exceptional from the moment you walk in. My steak was a 16oz bone in New York strip not much taste very tender though. The New York cheese cake wasn't very New York Had a Florida touch with a taste of Lemon. The side were large enough that you were encouraged to spit it with your partner even the Cheesecake. I had the cowboy bone-in ribeye. They were nice enough to engrave my initials in the bone. This was an especially nice touch. On the side I had the best baked potato I've put in my mouth. All in all this place is simply amazing and well worth the money.
