  • "Enjoyed the steaks. Volcano dessert delicious. Had my 11 yr old niece - nothing on menu she wanted to eat except shrimp cocktail. No kid menu. Nice atmosphere. Everything a la carte so it gets very pricey."

  • "Hello, My friends and I ate there after the game on Saturday. Food was delicious, and service was attentive. However, when the bill came, we asked to split it between 2 credit cards. They brought us the slips, we signed and left. The next day, found out we were charged for half the bill, but our friends got charged for the whole bill and then an additional huge charge was made by the restaurant! Now they are in a dispute with Amex....."

  • "We had eaten there once before and it was great. This time it was so noisy I could barely hear the conversation at my table. The waiter said it would take 25 minutes for our food to come out because my husband ordered a well done hamburger and I ordered medium/well steak on a steak salad. That didn't seem reasonable. Unfortunately it took 45 minutes for the food to come out. The waiter kept saying it was coming right out and then it would take more time until we asked again, etc. It is a fun place to eat before a game but next time we will have food at our seats in the stadium. Also, even after complaining about the delay, as did the family next to us, the maître d never came over to talk to us. We won't be going back."

  • "If this restaurant weren't inside of Yankee Stadium, I'd never seek it out based on food quality and value. That said, it does make a special day day at Yankee Stadium a little better."

  • "One of the best steaks out there. They carve your initials in the bone!"

  • "Stopped at NYY steak before the game. We had reservations and were told it would be a little wait when we got there. We went to hang out at the bar and noticed 4 plus tables open and available. After waiting 20 minutes we finally said something to the hostess and she then seated us. We ordered our food and everything was fine except for the steak. We ordered it medium and it came out well done. Bad enough that it couldn't be eaten. We had to send it back and it took 30 min to get another one. Which meant we missed the first two innings of the game. Our waiter was great and very apologetic but he kept saying a manager would come over, yet they never did."

  • "I have been coming to NYY for over 3 years now. The staff is one of the best. Always friendly, quick and always available when you need something. Henry, Vernon and the crew have made this my favorite place to go. To bad they aren't open in the off season."

  • "If you are going to pay 60 dollars for a steak it should be cooked the way you ordered it Lobster Mac and cheese came out cold It took 20 minutes to get a soda Server we had was not attentive at all Took my wife there for our anniversary and left very disappointed"

  • "Myself and a friend came on Tuesday night for dinner before the game. It was a great experience, the staff was friendly and accommodating. I liked the fact you can be dressed up or in game attire to eat, I thought it might detract from the atmosphere but it didn't. We have the seafood tower for 2 and shared the porterhouse steak. Great value for 2 people."

  • "Although the tables were a bit close to each other, it was definitely the best place I have ever been. The service is wonderful, the servers are friendly and very respectful. The food was delicious and plentiful. I had the porterhouse and NYY Steak fries and I couldn't finish the fries at the end. My girlfriend had the 14 oz. New York strip and the mash potatoes. We were both full for the whole 14 inning game after dinner. It was great."

  • "NYY Steak is an awesome steak house, and conveniently located inside Yankee stadium (there is another location in Manhattan as well). What better way to partake in a Yankee game than to start off with a delicious steak. The menu is not very large, but then, what reputable steak house has a large menu anyway? Their appetizers are huge; a lot of shellfish, bacon is highly recommended. The salads are all very large and enough for sharing. For those who don't like steak, there is an excellent chicken dish and a pasta dish if you're feeling steak as well. The sides are also large enough to share, with onion rings being a personal favorite (nice thick sliced, beer-battered rings!)."

  • "After more than several reservations at this location my party and myself never go from the hostess stand to our table in less that 5 or 10 minutes. There is always a wait for no apparent reason and with no explanation. In fact on several occasions, those arriving after my party are seated immediately. This is almost always in the background of many empty tables. This is seemingly a minor irritation, but am just curious why this scenario occurs time-after-time."

  • "We are local and always enjoy NYY Steak when attending a Yankees game. I'm afraid that the restaurant is mirroring the team in that they have both gotten a bit complacent. It remains a great concept and the atmosphere is terrific. We enjoyed ourselves, but not as much as other visits. I think the restaurant (and the team) need a quick "mound conference" in order to get back to being great."

  • "I love the excitement of watching a baseball game while you're having dinner with other Yankees fans. The place is nostalgic and you are surrounded by baseball's legend. The wall are filled with Yankee Greats of the past and present and you can literally feel the chill as you view each picture on the wall.– And btw the food and service are superb......"

  • "We waited in the line off to the side to get into the stadium around 4 and they said to come back at 4:30. We did and they said we had to go into the main line as they were not letting people with 5 or 5:30 reservations in early. That said, we were slightly annoyed to have to wait because we have gone several times before and always have gotten in before the big crowd. We did get in a little after 5 with the people with special needs so we did make it in time for our reservations. One of the reasons we eat at the NYY Steakhouse is that we can get in early. Do we need to make our next reservations for 4 to be assured of beating the crowd? We would rather not do that. The 5:30 time is perfect for getting to our seats to enjoy the game."

  • "I was extremely disappointed upon my first visit, a business diner with 3 very senior clients, and huge Yankees fans. We had a 5:30 reservation and were at Gate 6 at 5:20 but were held for 30 minutes because of a Jeter figurine giveaway delay. We called the restaurant and said we were being held, but they still cancelled our reservation after 15 min. We finally, and thankfully, were seated, but an hour and 15 minutes after our reservation! We didn't get to the 7:05 game until 8:45. We were so excited for the NYY Steak expereince, and had planned well ahead, but got sideswiped by the stadium hold up and the restaurant gave us no option but to wait. I understand it was a tough situation, but it was still a huge fiasco for me."

  • "What a screw up. The visit was July 21st. Have been to the Manhattan Restaurant. As many times as we have been to Yankee Stadium this was our first visit to NYY Steak. Reservation for 5pm. We were told to go to Gate 6.. How about the Gate was closed and no one wanted to help?. How about calling NYYSteak and being told we should have arrived earlier?. How much earlier when the Gate as well as other Gates were closed?. How about coming down and letting us in? How about we discovered while standing in the heat over 2 hours prior to the game we were not the only ones that got screwed? How about calling the NYY customer service and the person telling us " Really no one is letting you in?"" Here is another number to call""

  • " It was our very 1st vist so our expectation was very high. We were not given a warm towel like everyone else. our waiter was not attentive at all , well not with us . We saw how he talk about all the other coulpes around us. I asked for my steak meadium well and it was more on rare side. when it was time for the check it took a long time to get our waiters attention. The best part of dinner was when i got my Derek Jeter Figurine ."

  • "I have heard that NYY Steak was in the conversation for best steakhouses, so I went on 07/21/14 before a Yankees game. I ordered the Porterhouse cooked "medium well". I also asked for mushrooms and onions as a side for my steak. To my surprise, the waiter informed me that the restaurant does not have either sides. I have never been to a steakhouse that didn't have either. My steak was barely cooked, not pink, but raw. The waiter apologized, brought it back , and then I got it back 5 minutes later slightly charred on the sides, but still uncooked in the middle. I would have been better off going to an Outback! A real waste of $179.00 . Service was excellent, but not the food. Also got the side of Spinach which had zero taste."

  • "My girlfriend and I came here for lunch prior to the Yankees game and this restaurant was just the place to kick off our perfect day. The service and staff were friendly, attentive, and professional. The food was the real star with some of the beat ahi tuna tartar I've ever had. We will definitely be back!"

  • "Our dining experience continued a great day at Yankee stadium. I attended with my Father, Brother, and my Son. The staff was excellent, and our waiter was awesome. The food was just what I expect to enjoy at a New York Steak House, especially one with the Yankee name. W were taken early on our reservation which was great seeing as the game ended a little early. My 8 year old son was with me and had no issues with the Menu. Overall fantastic dinning experience. A great way to celebrate a Yankees win"

  • "My experience at NYY Steak was the worst dining out I have ever experienced. I ordered the Bone-In Rib Eye and Fries. Bone-In was more bone than Rib Eye and the fries were a total disaster. Must have been the left overs from a prior order. Seating me right be hind the Host Station made me feel more like a Host than a Guest/Customer. I could not believe that I traveled from Boston, yes Boston Ma, to see my two favorite teams play and have dinner and be so disappointed with my meal. The Yamkees winning made it a little more digestable. (Not Good)"

  • "Made a reservation for 3pm during an extremely hot and humid day game. Went into NYY. Dead quiet.(Its the 5th inning) Stood at the hostess desk for 10 minutes. Eventually seated at a table in the back next to a folding screen. Behind the screen the entire staff was sitting down to lunch.(Employees need to eat too, no objections). We sat at our table alone for another 15 minutes. Finally given a dinner menu, asked for a lunch menu. NOPE. Too late. (it wasn't when we sat down) The food was fine. Service poor. Air Conditioning good. Nothing compared to when it first opened."
