The good news: Had an unbelivable experience at NYY Steak. Steaks on par or better than ANY great steakhouse in the city. Wine list exceptional with some great finds and pricepoints. Service was spot on. Server was not overbearing but always around when we needed him. I ordered the 20oz Bone-in strip, sliced and cooked to perfection. My wife ordered the Tuna which had to be sushi grade. Sides of creamed spinach and lobster mac & cheese were all delicious. And to finish it off, a fantatsic Tiramisu and some delicious dessert wine.

I consider it part of the "Yankee Stadium" experience. While the steaks are not the absolute best I have ever had, they are excellent. There aren't enough choices for sides, but we are here to watch the game. I like to be seated near the television to see the start of the game. It's just a festive atmosphere with people of all ages, tourists as well as regulars. It's very friendly and our server was really attentive. The place was packed on a Thursday night. The steaks are cooked to perfection, the cold seafood tower is filled with the freshest lobster, crab, shrimp, clams and oysters and the side dishes (lobster Mac and cheese, creamed spinach, garlic mashed) are as good as you can get. If there's a 7pm game, make a reservation for 5pm and you'll have plenty of time to eat and get to your seats for game time. Steak was cooked perfectly. Good wine list and cocktails. Of course, like everything else at Yankee Stadium, it's pricey, so go prepared. It's not exactly a "romantic" place, but if you're taking a date to the game, this is so much better than ordering at your seat or buying at the concession stands. Service was excellent and it was all topped off by a Yankee win!

The drinks were well done, flavors in the appetizers and side dishes were amazing, and the meat was delicious. The service was exactly what you'd expect from a world class restaurant - attentive without hovering: our server asked about our preferences and made the perfect recommendations, we didn't feel any pressure, but he was there with what we needed a half second before we were ready to ask for it. I work in the hospitality industry and am usually never satisfied and tend to be picky.
