  I wanted a trendy place with good energy in Albany for a client meeting. The DP An American Brasserie fit that well. We were well taken care of, the food was good, and I was pleased on a busy evening to have the wait staff and kitchen work so hard to meet my "no-oil vegan" regimen. They do a very busy happy hour for locals, so if you like that sort of kick start to an evening by all means go (and the drinks are just 5 bucks!). But if not wait a bit till later. Nice to see that, after the bar scene tapered, several people came in and quietly worked on laptops while other tables, including ours, held animated conversations....More

  Tala is a one of a kind !. From the moment you arrive you know you are about to have a unique dining experience. The ambience is soothing with beautiful shades of purple and a decor that competes with NYC's finest. The menu is mouthwatering making it impossible to decide so we just ordered one of everything! Starting iwth the appetizers my personal favorite was the flat bread pizza - brussel sprout with gorgonzola YUM! And the calamari with an undescribable sauce....you just have to try it. Main course was just as good with steak cooked to perfection (love the unique side potatoe!) and scallops - best I ever had. Tala is a must for a Foodie!...More

  From the warm app and soup right through the entree things kept getting better and better. The chicken Milanese was new to me but fantastic. Companion raved about the homemade cavatelli. I look forward to my next visit to Cornell's....and the next and the one after that and..........More
