"The food was great. I had a potato crusted whitefish that was one of the best fish I've ever had. The waitress was very nice and made sure we enjoyed our food and had a friendly attitude. The only problem was we waited about an hour for our main meal, but other than that it was great!"

"We had a fine dinner, but there was live music, and the room is small. It was loud, distracting, and impossible to visit--which is what we go out for on a weeknight. This was a Thursday night; perhaps the experience is entirely different without the music."

"Although a Mon night isn't typical, the NSB was fairly full and yet not too noisy.
The food was very good and reasonably priced.
I hadn't been here in a long time and the atmosphere under it's previous existence was much more formal."

"Ordinarily a great restaurant, but on this evening there was a party in the bar area. The party was for the restaurant manager and the guests were employees and friends. The party was entirely too noisy and it greatly disturbed the private diners. People at individual tables needed to speak loudly to be heard, which added to the overall noise. This created a very unpleasant dining experience.
Food was great as usual. Service was great as usual. Serving staff was very apologetic about the noise. I commented to the hostess that I was displeased and she simply said "I'm sorry. Thank you for coming""

"We made the reservation which was accepted but it turns out they really didn't have a table for us. We were seated at a tiny 1/2 table in the back which was no large enough to hold the plates and drinks for 2 people.

Also the menu that we saw on the web site's pull downs didn't match the menu in the restaurant. About 1/2 of the items on the web site were available. The items I was interested in having didn't exist. I refreshed the web browser and got a new version of the web site which did match the menu.

So they didn't have the meals we wanted. The other items I had were just ok and see no reason to return. That is too bad. The North Shore doesn't have many good restaurants and I was hoping this one was good"
