Great food, great winelist, great prices. Never disappointed. Whatever friends we bring to dine with us always return on their own. Always a friendly staff from the moment you walk in until you are seated at your table. A very enjoyable place to dine. The papardelle witih lobster, truffle oil and asparagus is one of my favorites. Great atmosphere!

I picked Novita based on the Yelp reviews. I don't get all the raves. Went there for my sister's 50th bday. Some of us got the price fixe. The kale salad was good. The salmon was extremely overcooked and lacking in flavor. The pasta fra diavlo was tasty but pasta was overcooked. Swordfish was decent. The chocolate soufflé" was dry and awful. The tiramisu was mostly whipped cream. Service was not so good. Didn't like atmosphere. Won't be going back.

We really enjoyed the unique ravioli preparations perfectly paired with the chef's wine choices on the restaurant week menu. They also have delicious half price appetizers in the bar during happy hour. Their calamaei is excellent!

The mozzarella and tomato appetizer was deprived of sufficient balsamic dressing while the pancetta-wrapped asparagus was tough. By contrast, the main courses were outstanding with a flavorful shrimp scampi and veal caprese satisfying the palette. The zeppole dessert was a perfect post-meal treat more akin to cinnamon-sugared doughnut holes than "fair fare". A banana bread pudding seemed overdone and forgettable. All said, the entire meal was an adequate value ($27.95) for Restaurant Week. Sporting an extensive wine list, bottles are 50%-off on Sundays with many options available for under $30 on discount.

The food was ok. My husband and I went for the first time during Restaurant Week. Seemed like a nice place. The waiter was pleasant and friendly. The one thing was that they brought each course too quickly. We had just placed our order and while serving the wine the appetizers were on the table already. Then during our entree they kept hovering to take our plates away to bring on dessert. We felt a little hurried. Other than that it was fine.

It's as if there are 3 steps to the service...#1 greet, announce menu, ask for drinks...wait...wait...# 2 take order...wait...wait...missing silverware, where's the service? drinks all arrive but one...wait...wait...diner gets up and goes after waiter, who's busy punching orders on keyboard, "oh yeah that other missing drink, right away!" ... dinner ordered some time ago, place not full and yet...wait...wait, #3 food served! ...food good!, check please...wait...wait...

I recently celebrated my birthday here. Originally, my boyfriend and I were only supposed to have dessert and drinks, but once we saw the food menu that quickly changed. The baked clams were out of this world, and so were the stuffed figs. The drinks are great and they have over 100 wines to choose from! Perfect for a date night or a girls night out. Our waiter was extremely helpful and very nice. Great atmosphere!

Beautiful place for a special celebratory dinner. Excellent choices of wines and on Mondays they have a special on bottles at half price so it's perfect when ordering for a dinner party. Their dinner specials are just that..unique and special and very tasty. The price fixed is surprisingly affordable and plentiful. There are quite a few appetizers to choose from along with the standard and always delicious calamari which is always perfect and never chewy. It's my family's choice for special occasion get togetherness, late night drinks, luncheon socials with friends. Love it.

Went here with a group of 5 and was initially concerned we wouldn't be able to hear each other due to the noise level, but it worked out fine because of the way the booths are curved. We had a nice private table that felt quite intimate even though we were literally surrounded by others. The wine list was so long I couldn't be bothered to read the whole thing so I asked the server to give me a recommendation, and it was spot on. Their wine system is fun, 100 wines by the glass, and apparently the only thing like it in the eastern US. The food was good as well, and our group had a hard time deciding on our orders because there were so many options that sounded appealing. The bill was reasonable as well. Recommend.

This was a random pick for a friend and I looking for a new restaurant off our typical beaten path. The food was very tasty and a good choice of options. So we went with four appetizers so we could share rather than entrées. The cocktails were enjoyable although the antioxidant martini really is just a cosmo. All the food was delicious and the gruyere and fontina fondue was well worth it!

Aside of eating at Novita for lunch and dinner or just grabbing a drink (perfect on Thursday and Saturday nights), I recently had brunch there for the first time a few weeks ago. The brunch menu has something for everyone...& in the event that something you want isn't listed, the wait staff makes every effort to have the chef prepare it for you. Warm muffins are brought to table once you sit down- my boyfriend said they were delicious. I really enjoyed the Tusan Scramble while he enjoyed the Pizzetta Rustica with our unlimited mimosas! Great food, with the best company...weekend brunch here is a must, can't wait to do it again!

One of the best caesar salads I've ever eaten. The main course was a pasta bolognese that was absolutely delicious. Topped all that off with a just-right sized tiramsu and truly excellent coffee.

This was our first time here and it was a letdown. Tables for two are small. They are known for their extensive selection of wines by the glass yet only have two choices of Riesling. We both started with baked stuffed clams that came out two minutes after we ordered them. I could not taste any clams in these strange mounds of tomato flavored breadcrumbs. I ate two and stopped, never did the waiter ask anything. My husband ordered "bibless" lobster, but it was not completely out of the shell and the corn came on the cob, which was not stated as such on the menu. I ordered a risotto with lobster, I had to search for the lobster, and the dish had no taste. The waiter never asked if we wanted more drinks. We did not stay for dessert.

Had the 2 pound lobster special which was a good deal. Lobster was good size but a bit over cooked as was the corn. Served with plenty of french fries but the truffle flavoring was overpowering. Started with a cup of lobster chowder with potato, leek and panchetta. Unfortunately the pancetta overpowered everything else and while there were a couple of nice chunks of lobster in it there was no flavor. Hopping crowd at bar.
