  • "We had a really great time eating here! I had been here once before with my girlfriends and I brought my family back for my brother's birthday. We were all extremely satisfied with the food, and the sangria was a perfect compliment to it all! We were also happy that the they easily accommodated for my baby nephew. Great ambiance and wonderful service. Will definitely be coming back again soon!"

  • "Our server was wonderful, the food was delicious and the drinks were yummy. We went out for a girls night and we all had a wonderful time."
    Dined on 8/2/2014
  • "Our waiter was new first time on his own, so we gave him leeway for not knowing everything. There was a wine that had "Pecorino " in the description. And he didn't know that it was a particular grape, not the cheese. he will learn! Food was very good, ands the lobster special was excellent!"

  • "This was our first time here and it was a letdown. Tables for two are small. They are known for their extensive selection of wines by the glass yet only have two choices of Riesling. We both started with baked stuffed clams that came out two minutes after we ordered them. I could not taste any clams in these strange mounds of tomato flavored breadcrumbs. I ate two and stopped, never did the waiter ask anything. My husband ordered "bibless" lobster, but it was not completely out of the shell and the corn came on the cob, which was not stated as such on the menu. I ordered a risotto with lobster, I had to search for the lobster, and the dish had no taste. The waiter never asked if we wanted more drinks. We did not stay for dessert."

  • "Hostess was wonderful, friendly and accommodating. The waitress was patient considering we were a bunch that were "catching". Wine list and food was great! Highly recommend. The lobster risotto was outstanding!"

  • "Had the 2 pound lobster special which was a good deal. Lobster was good size but a bit over cooked as was the corn. Served with plenty of french fries but the truffle flavoring was overpowering. Started with a cup of lobster chowder with potato, leek and panchetta. Unfortunately the pancetta overpowered everything else and while there were a couple of nice chunks of lobster in it there was no flavor. Hopping crowd at bar."

  • "First time there, waitress was very nice and attentive. Food was great and more importantly, it was close to closing time and no one was forcing us out."

  • "Everything from food to service was very food.thank you also for keeping my reservations when I called and said I need more time due to the rest of my family was in traffic. .thank you ."

  • "Well prepared and presented Northern Italian food. Attentive waitstaff, nice atmosphere--the tables aren't on top of each other. Come for dinner, or just for wine, cheese, and salumi. Great wine selection, in every price range. Novita is one of the very few restaurants/wine bars that really takes care of its wines. It has a digitally controlled wine preservation system, so you can feel free to order wine by the glass, and be assured that it will taste fresh, rather than stale and flat. They have great specials on Sundays and Mondays: three course prix fixe dinners, and half price bottles of wine. I've been there many times, and I'm always pleased."

  • "Love this place but the last time girl friends and I went the service was awful. I think her name was Samantha? Anyway, my girlfriends and I are all in the industry so we understand what it is like to be busy, however this server couldn't even smile, make eye contact and let us know she would be over. We sat most of the meal needing something. "

  • "My girlfriend and I went on a Saturday night and had a few appetizers and split the grilled shrimp salad. Absolutely fantastic! Nice cocktail list and an amazing wine list. We had a drink at the bar after dinner and it was busy with good energy. This was our second time going to this restaurant and it was better than I remembered. Small minus - the waitress brought us our check without asking if we wanted another drink or dessert. "

  • "We had a party of 8 in a circular bankette. Great for semi-privacy and group discussion. We ordered calamari, baked clams, meatball sliders with the exception of the baked clams were delightful. Baked clams were a bready concoction without the emphasis on clams. I ordered a glass of pinot noir which I considered to be finest glass of wine I've had to date within the last couple of years. I had the pork ribeye which I believe was cooked a minute too long on each side and created a rather dry offering. The sides were good but nothing memorable. My wife was not overly impressed but recommended the lunch offering as an alternative. Our waiter was superb in attending to our staggered arrival and providing exceptional service. "

  • "Good food and service. Nice time for couples or groups."

  • "We love Novita and come for dinner whenever we can. This year we tried the Mother's Day brunch, and it was pretty disappointing. The place was very noisy, even for Mother's Day. The brunch was buffet style, the line was long, and the food was pretty mediocre, not nearly as good as the food usually is at Novita. It was as if the food was brought in from elsewhere. Our waiter was pleasant enough but not very attentive even though he was only serving us drinks. We had to wait forever for coffee refills and for our check. My mom did manage to enjoy herself, thank goodness, and we will still go to Novita for dinner. But we'll avoid the Mother's Day brunch."

  • "The evening was very good all around. Food, wine and service was very good. Our table was too small for our group so as a result a glass of red wine spilled all over my husband's white shirt:( We will go back but will be firm on having the proper size table. "

  • "Service was terrific, pleasant and energized waitress. All food was served as ordered, and in a timely fashion. "

  • "I absolutely love this place it was my first time being here and the food was delicious as well as the mimosas! I was however disappointed with the service, not only did the server take a tables order before our table (even though we sat way before) but she never came back to check on us or to at least offer drinks after our mimosas were done. Maybe she thought we would not tip her the right way because we looked young? but nevertheless we still tip the right way more than 20% The place is beautiful I will always recommend it !"

  • "My wife and I regularly go out for food and wine. They have a great wine selection and this our "Go To" place when we can't make a decision. This place never disappoints. "

  • "I brought my clients here following a meeting and thought that it was beautifully decorated and provided a variety of different seating arrangements. We sat in a circular booth that provided privacy from other patrons. We enjoyed every bit of our lobster sliders and calamari appetizers. I had a coconut martini and it was very nice. All were happy with their meal selections - Shrimp Scampi and the Chilean Seabass. The atmosphere was so inviting that we stay longer than we initially anticipated. Our meal, which began at 5:45 pm ended on or about 9:00 pm. I located this restaurant on Open Table and I'm quite pleased with my dining experience at Novita Wie Bar Trattoria."

  • "Very good lunch. Food was excellent. Only complint is that it took an hour for our food to be served which is way too long for lunch."

  • "its great reliable after work fun place. prefix menu is large & yummy "

  • "My husband and I meet up with friends for brunch on Sundays and Novita was recently recommended to us. For $20 plus tax & tip you get unlimited mimosas, screwdrivers, bloody marys, coffee/tea as long as you're still eating. The menu had lots of choices and our group was pretty satisfied with our meals. You also get one basket of complimentary muffins which were pretty tasty. I would go back again but still prefer nearby City Cellar for their jazz brunch."

  • "I ordered the scallop special it was delicious. The food came out within ten minutes of the order. The creme brulee was unbelievably good. Our server was excellent as well. The place was really hopping at 10p on a Saturday. Would definitely return."
    Dined on 3/22/2014
  • "The Spinach Ravioli came to the table cold with virtually no spinach. The Tiramisu was all cream - no cake. The decaf coffee was non-drinkable and it all cost over one hundred dollars. The music was more for a club setting than a diner one. We will not return to this restaurant."

  • "This was my first time (and a first date) at Novita. We both had a great time. The food was wonderful, the wine was great, and our server, Jackie, was perfect. I really appreciated how nice, energetic, fun, and thoughtful Jackie was throughout our dinner at Novita. She helped me make substitutions for my meal (since I cannot have gluten), and her recommendations we great. I really liked Novita, and I'm sure I'll be back!"

  • "We went to Novita for an early dinner on a Friday night. There was a very big bar crowd and the dining room gradually filled up. It was very noisy but cheerful. Our waitress could not have been nicer and the food was very good. I would say that there was a big "Happy Hour" component and dining spill over. Prices were very reasonable for food and wine list. Not a place for a romantic dinner. Lunches here are also very good."

  • "Incredible wine list and wonderful prix fixe special menu. Will definitely go back."

  • "I was so excited to go here because I had heard such great reviews. Well let's just say I was very disappointed! I thought we were going to have a romantic dinner on Valentine's but upstairs is all bar scene... The lobster sliders were good. I had the lobster pappardelle which was okay, not sure what all the hype was about? My husband had the bolognese which he really enjoyed. For dessert he had the marscapone-pistachio- caramel gelato and said it was heavenly, I tried the Nutella creme brûlée but I did not taste the Nutella. It tasted like a chocolate creme brûlée. All in all, the food was good not great. The atmosphere is loud on the upper level. I would go back with friends but definitely not with my husband for a romantic dinner for 2."

  • "I went there expecting really excellent food and service. However, compared to some other Italian restaurants where we have previously dined, this one was not up to the mark. The food was good but the service was disappointing. The waiter forgot to bring the drink. Then we had to ask for cutlery and so went the story though out the night. We will be not be visiting it again."
