Adjacent to the formal Jean Georges dining room, Nougatine offers the signature dishes of Chef Vongerichten in a more casual, lively setting. The room provides a beautiful view of Central Park as well as views of the open kitchen, and the a la carte menu features a wide variety of Jean-Georges… creative seasonal dishes, combining French, American and Asian influences and ingredients. Nougatine offers a prix-fixe lunch for $32 Monday-Saturday from 12pm-3pm. Pre-theatre and post-theatre $38 prix-fixe menus are available Sunday-Friday evenings from 5:30pm-6pm, and 10-11pm. OUR TERRACE IS NOW OPEN FOR OUTDOOR DINING (WEATHER PERMITTING).Continued

"The short Filipino gentleman that greeted us at the front desk was VERY rude and had a big attitude problem. I showed up early for my reservation (2 people) and he made it seem like it was a huge inconvenience. He rolled his eyes (twice) and was remarkably unaccommodating. We ended up having to sit at the bar rather than a table - so much for using openTABLE!

We waited almost an hour for our food (baked chicken) to arrive. The bartender had to call the kitchen twice to ask where our food was. After the second call she gave up on the person that was supposed to deliver the food and went to the kitchen and fetched the plates herself. I have had many meals at JG but I've never had such poor service."

"Fantastic restaurant with amazing food. It was a girls night out for us and we throughly enjoyed it. We plan on making reservations at Jean-George for next month.
We did the tasting menu which was absolutely delicious. Hats off to the chef and his/her creations. The staff was fantastic from beginning to end. Extremely sweet people as the host/hostess desk and I can't say enough about our waiter or his runners. Our glasses never got below half empty and the table was cleared and new silverware put out with us barely noticing. Absolutely fantastic."

"We had dinner at Nougatine on April 9, taking advantage of their prix-fixe between 5:30 and 6:00 pm. The food was delicious, ample and served with much grace. This was our third time at Nougatine, and we're always amazed at the surprising ways flavors and textures of the food are combined. The prix-fixe is an excellent deal considering the quality of the food. We'll be back!"
