NotaroNotaro is indeed a neighborhood gemWe eat at Notaro several times a year and always have a wonderful time. The service is super-friendly, food is delicious, and the prices are quite reasonable. I'd to haven't tried Notaro, try it !It's a real neighborhood gem.4/24/2013 12:00:00 AMFriends from out-of-town wereFriends from out-of-town were staying nearby, so I made a first-time reservation at Notaro for brunch on Sunday.
It was splendid. Great food, nicely-paced service, wonderful ambiance. Can not recommend the place too highly.4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMBest Authentic ItalianThis restaurant was an authentic Italian neighborhood place with a delightful owner, solicitous waitstaff, an amazing menu and reasonably priced incredible food. If I lived in NY I would go here every weekend. Sadly, I live in Seattle where real Italian food is a rarity.
From the moment we walked into this warm, inviting room, we were greeted, seated in a nice area, made aware of specials and generally made to feel welcome. I had the risotto with shrimp and asparagus and it was light and perfect. My husband had the veal francese and it was sublime. I also had a fantastic spinach salad.
For dessert, the ricotta cheesecake and cannolli made me feel like I was a kid again growing up in Hazleton, Pennsylvania. I will go here again!3/29/2013 12:00:00 AM
