I had vietnamese salmon and it was excellent. One of my friend had mediterranean turkey kabob. The other friend had tomato basil soup and almond crusted goat cheese salad. We were all very happy and satisfied with our choices. Also, the focaccia bread with the dipping sauce were out of this world. This place is always jumping. One advise, make a reservation on line ahead of time if you are going to dinner. Also, an added bonus, it offers 15% discount on food to movie goers. Save your ticket after the movie. My friend chose the sirloin tips but found them very salty (which is unusual for him since he usually likes to season well). He should have spoken up sooner. When he mentioned it to our waiter, he was offered something else, but being well into my nearly finishing, he declined. The manager also offered something else. Each person was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. I'm not adventuresome so i shy away from some of the combinations (i.e. squash cannelloni). Your calamari is great. The creme brulee cheesecake was excellent. I can't begin to write about the bread and dipping oil - I'd visit Joe's just for that starter! As for ambiance, I find the lighting a little dim, but I'm almost 87 so I'm the problem not you.
I have noticed a lot of families with young children at Joe's, which is refreshing, and yet I have never heard excess noise or chatter.
