Hadn't been to this restaurant in quite a while as I'd moved from the area but was pleasantly surprised that everything was still very good. Food and service were both excellent. Extensive menu of varied foods. Waitress was very accommodating and attentive. Didn't know if the place would be crowded so made reservation on line. Got there about 5:00 p.m. and there was plenty of seating. My new fave is the Carolina Pecan Chicken, boneless chicken Breast with mustard coating and pecan crust.
I jut wish NYAJ would bring back Sweet Petite desserts! Fabulous bread. Reservations were easy to make. No problem getting in.
Dessert: s'mores crème brulet: ok, but I'd rather get the sorbet.

The scallops were delicious as was the herb crusted haddock. Kudos for the fresh goat cheese on NYAJ salad.

Suggest using a different brand of fry. The Randolph location is a bit smaller than others, but still manages to do well with large groups. Excellent service on a busy Saturday night. The noise level is high here, and you'll be rubbing elbows with the boisterous bar crowd (the bar is in the center of the restaurant). Menu could have more vegetarian choices. Overall, surprisingly good considering the location (in a nondescript strip mall in suburban nowheresvile). It was on our way to a concert and we figured that it was conveniently on our way. We were seated and attended to very well. The meals were perfectly prepared, served hot, and very tasty. Weboth had a chicken selection and foud it juicy and appealing. There was enough to take home for, literally, a second meal. Very good.
