We had a great experience at Not your average Joe's. Our server was Sheila and she was wonderful! She was warm, friendly and so experienced. We arrived at 5 PM (good time to go before the rush...) with two children, six of us in total. Nice area in the back to sit and not be in anyone's way. I ordered Salmon and it was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meals!! A wonderful place for our family to meet...

Not equivalent to other locations. I was *so* excited to host my business meeting here, and would never return to this location. The greeter/host was snarky (it was a recent Tuesday, about 12pm) when I checked into my reservation which was so unexpected, and maybe negatively affected the rest of my experience. Server was good, attentive and kind. He tried really hard and I appreciated it. Salad was a great disappointment. Greens were not fresh, salmon was overcooked. Major disappointment.

I went with my girl friends having just had the marvelous flounder with gouda polenta at your restaurant in Hyannis. I hyped it so that we all had it. While it was tasty I have to say it didn't hold a candle to the one on the Cape. The portion was much smaller and there was barely any polenta. That said - while I was disappointed - we all had a wonderful time and our server was very gracious. We of course will go back but I will be mindful that the tastes at one place might not be the same as at another

One of my favorite places to eat but a distance from home. They took my favorite chipotle chicken salad off the menu a while ago but they offered to recreate it for me on Wednesday night. Delicious! Our waiter TJ was very professional and personable. I don't think you can go wrong here. There is enough variety on the menu to satisfy many different tastes and they use fresh local foods when possible.

Service was excellent. One of the three guests said his dish was really good(pork tenderloins), the meatloaf was over cooked and crusty, the person that had the ahi tuna salad would have preferred the tuna hot on top of the salad rather than from the fridge.

My wife and I go here for various anniversaries like birthdays and the wedding one. It is always excellent food. It isn't all that quiet but that doesn't detract from the resturant. It has really excellent food. I think it is also kid-friendly, hence also the noise level. The specials are always fantastic and their pizza is quite good too. I am a foodie. I love this place.

While the staff were friendly and generally prompt with service, I found the food to be mediocre. On the cold side when should have been warm (and I was near to the kitchen). I might try it again as th menu looks as though the food should be good!

Our reservation was 7:45. Several tables of small children around us, some of which needed to be home as they were tired, cranky and quite noisy. Entree from the "Specials" menu - a pork loin roast, was delicious! House salads, on recent visits, have contained more of the lettuce "core"- which is not appetizing! Our server was great, very attentive, extremely friendly. NYAJ's almost always delivers a good meal from a friendly server.

Dinner at NYAJ was fun the other night; celebrating their 20th year in business with a special priced 2-course menu. It featured many throwback dishes from the 90's and I tried a couple since I wanted something new. While I prefer the regular menu items, it was nice to have something different for a change. Service from Mike was exceptional. He remembered my wife and I from our first dining experience with him a month ago and immediately offered me a gluten-free bread roll. We had a great time as always.

This is one of my favorite restaurant chains, but this visit was not the best. It was crazy loud, super packed and the temperature was nearly 80's (the thermostats are in the dining area). Our waiter seemed somewhat new and a bit confused and sweating profusely. One of our entrees was obviously ready before the other, as it arrived cold. The restaurant was definitely too busy to wait to have it recooked, so we just moved on. We paid with a combination of gift cards and credit cards which thoroughly confused our waiter and necessitated the intervention of the manager. The restaurant had no control of the other guests, but twice during our meal we were either nearly hit with food for a flailing fork or a flying plate. Sad.

We love NYAJ's. Went for dinner to celebrate a friend's birthday. We all tried each other's food. We loved the Thai chicken lettuce wraps and the bruschetta special. Two of us had the DELICIOUS special - Pecan-crusted chicken. The chicken was cooked perfectly. The sweet potato fries were yummy, and the coleslaw was also delicious. One person had the jambalaya, said it was good but could have been spicier. Salmon with quinoa/mango salsa and grilled veggies was a mixed bag. The salmon was delicious, the veggies were undercooked, and the quinoa (which I love - elsewhere) was kind of bland, tasted a little "off", as one person said. The carrot cake was good (I've tasted a friend's gluten-free baked goods, and this was much better). Thank you!

I have been to many Not Your Average Joe's and was excited for this visit to catch up with friends and for the great food. When I ordered my Margarita I also ordered a water, which I never got even after reminding our server TWICE. I also got half of my meal, I ordered the Tuscan Chicken and it was two pieces of bread (not four like usual) and they were empty inside. I waited and waited and waited and after the rest of my party finished eating I then got up to ask for our server who never came back to the table to let him know my food was wrong. He admitted it was wrong and whoever brought it over (it was him who delivered it) should have noticed that only half the sandwich was on the plate. So he had the kitchen remake the sandwich.

I have had serveral meals at Joe's in the past. This was not the best. Our server seem to have some problems getting the orders correct. One friends burger was not cooked. I must say the manager Guy did come over right away and apologize and took the item off the build. There was too much Goat cheese on the salad I ordered not enough greens.
