  • "If you're looking for a place to relax and have a great glass of wine I highly recommend Nosh! The food is great, you can hear each other talk without raising your voice! The wine list is excellent! This is a great place to unwind or get a romantic evening started! A hidden gem within the hidden gem of Omaha!"

  • "We had a very easy party of 4, near the bar and had horrible service on a Wednesday evening. The bartender was our server for dinner and drinks and we had to actually shout at the bartender to get his attention for anything more than the 1st round of drinks. Yes the action at the bar was picking up but either he wasn't doing his job (he was not the only one in there) or they simply didn't have enough help. This was our first time there so not sure if we just hit an off night or not but I was certainly not impressed. I only rated the 'Ambience' poor because the jazz band that was playing was too loud for the size of the place which made it difficult to converse, otherwise they would have received a 'Very Good' rating."

  • "Service was good despite large party. Duck tacos and Nosh Sliders were excellent. The bread pudding was overcooked and dry. It was hard to cut it with a knife. I will try again."

  • "Beautiful bar/restaurant where you can have a great drink, wonderful food and sit in a nice clean, comfortable chair. Loved the small portions so you can share and try more than one thing. Great place to go before a concert at Century Link!!!"

  • "If you are in downtown Omaha, I hope you will stop in at Nosh Restaurant and Wine Lounge. Staff is friendly and efficient and owner Lila is super nice. Food is always great - flatbreads are awesome. Wine list is extensive. There are many, many choices and the Moscato I tried the other night was excellent. If you have a smart phone, download their VIP app. It will send you a notification when they have specials, like the other night, $10.00 flatbreads - nice! They also have a great happy hour. There is regular table seating, bar seating or cozy chairs or booths with low tables for an intimate little "pit" like feeling. Have some wine, or other drinks and Nosh on something while you are there!"

  • "Loved the sliders. A perfect size to share before the symphony. The sweet pea soup was fabulous. I did not share that! The pomme Frits were excellent, although my companion didn't care for the truffle oil. Would be nice to have a choice if you don't like that flavor."

  • "I have been to Nosh before and enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Unfortunately, this was not the case with my last visit. Our party ordered 3 orders of pasta bolognese and were served a bowl of overcooked pasta, a splash of red sauce and what looked like a cooked hamburger patty. My relatives from California were less than impressed with what told them was a cute Omaha wine bar with tasty food. Service, while pleasant, was very slow. It took so long to get our food that our waiter, who doubled as the bartender, gave us a discount on our bill. We watched another party of 5 leave after never being served. If I go back, it will be for wine only. "

  • "Tried Nosh's brunch last weekend finally. As with Nosh's dinner menu, the brunch is represented by a well-curated menu consisting of about a dozen selections. It was more than sufficient to satisfy a picky vegetarian bride-to-be, and three wannabe foodies. We tried the Mediterranean Omelet, the Nosh and the Salmon Benedicts. Definitely hats off to the chef for flawless execution. All of the food was great in terms of both presentation and taste. The potatoes and the poached eggs are literally world class. Also, a two egg omelette is so much better than a massive three egg that typically ends up with considerable waste. Believe our server was Blair who was appropriately attentive and professional. We'll be back."

  • "I was looking for a nice place to take my Mom for Mother's Day that was a little different than the usual. Found a gem in Nosh."

  • "The wine list is extensive (although slightly limited for wine flights). The fun menu of cocktails (Texas Mule was fantastic). Their flat breads are delicious (we had the apple and fig flat bread). Our group of 5 women had a fantastic experience!"

  • "We enjoyed wine while "noshing". A perfect name for this intimate spot. We had flat bread with figs and apples that was delicious. The buffalo mozzarella on the bruschetta was a really nice addition. Onion soup was light and very very good and the salmon entree was a bit pricey for the small portion, but excellent. Our waiter was pleasant and responsive and generous with refilling our water glasses."

  • "This is our 3rd time at Nosh, and we've enjoyed all of them. The food is excellent and the bar is well-stocked. We went with a wine flight, which our server made up on the spur of the moment from our descriptions of the wines we enjoy, and it went very well. If we lived in Omaha, we'd be regulars. "

  • "The meal was good and the ambiance was nice. The service left a lot to be desired though. I was not impressed. I may give them one more chance. Not anytime soon though. "

  • "My wife and me are always long to try new restaurants. Some are failures, but this one was a great choice. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The service was excellent and the entire staff was very friendly. "

  • "Cute place, nice ambiance. Was pretty empty for a Saturday night. Cheese plate was good, but one of the 3 cheeses was awful and inedible. Other 2 were wonderful. Nice wine selection. Duck Tacos were amazing. Salmon sliders really great."

  • "Food & drink were great, no complaints. However, the service was really lacking. Our water glasses were always empty & we would have each had another drink had she showed up to ask. When she did deliver our food she nearly knocked over a full wine glass, which we luckily caught as she just walked away. Too bad, the actions one brought down the experience,"

  • "First time we went there. Our server was attentive, energetic and knowledgeable without being over-bearing. Food was excellent - great portions. Overall atmosphere was comfortable and private enough to not hear everything going on around us - even though tables are close together. Have several out-of-town friends who would love this because of the selection of drinks - especially the Johnnie Walkers. If you are headed to an event downtown, definitely try Nosh!"

  • "We were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. The soup was the most delicious I have ever eaten. The service was simply outstanding. We went there two nights in a row as it was handy to the Brigit Saint Brigit presentations. The menu was varied enough that going to the same place was just fine. Happy hour drinks were good. The only problem with the spot is that it is often difficult to find a place to park, especially if there is something at the Holland Center or Century Link."

  • "Maybe just an off night, but service was very slow. I thought the pricing was high and the salad with Steak add was a joke. It's the first time I've seen a salad with steak and receive chop steak piled on the side."

  • "Everything we have ever ordered here has been very tasty. Their flatbread is amazing. Wine list is extensive; music on Wednesday nights. It is not a huge place, and so is an intimate type place to have lunch or dinner, meet friends for drinks after work, and enjoy great music as well. I was lucky enough to have been able to sing there for a special event recently. Nosh is conveniently located in downtown Omaha. Easy walking distance to The Old Market or NoDo sections, the TD Ameritrade College World Series ball park, etc. Wait staff is attentive and food comes out promptly and piping hot. The menu is not huge (like a chain type restaurant), but there is something for everyone's tastes. Highly recommend Nosh."

  • "I felt the atmosphere in the restaurant was very cozy, great place for friends and family to come and have a class of wine and appetizers or to have dinner. I felt our waiter was polite he did not try to engage in just friendly chat while taking our orders. he was just not personal. enough. again he was not rude just not personal. I will be back and so will my friends."

  • "we chose this restaurant because it seemed like it would be romantic. We were extremely disappointed in the service the food and the amount of time we had to wait for our table when we have a proir reservation. The staff seemed like they couldn't be bothered with taking our order or refilling drinks and or food and the overall evening was definitely effect as a result."

  • "Disappointing. I opent tabled reservations for 6:30 and they didn't seat us until 7:10, They were busy because of an 8:00 concert but the should have have planned for that. When we did get seated our waitress was barely available. We had to flag her down for everything we wanted, including ordering. When our apple walnut salads came, they were missing the apples. She did bring us a bowl full of apples but it seemed a bother rather than their mistake. Additionally we ordered a flat bread that we had to ask for because I think it had been forgotten. The manager did comp our salads and our flatbread. We would've rather had a nice dinner and paid. I've gone for drinks at Nosh many times but not dinner. I think I'll stick to drinks."

  • "We have been to Nosh on numerous occasions... Date night, afternoon fun, Creighton games, group events, the Wine dinner. It's always consistently fabulous! They know wines and make great recommendations. The GM is attentive and almost always present. The food is soooo tasty, most notable the steak sliders, the hummus, the fig and apple flat bread, really any of the flatbreads. Oh the fries! Mmmmmm. Oh and the duck tacos are delicious too. I've been there with family, girlfriends, my husband, and they've all enjoyed it? Did I mention the The Wine Dinner!!!? It is the most exciting presentation of food and wine, absolutely first rate."

  • "Nosh has become our favorite spot for food and drink before and after Creighton basketball games. Nosh takes reservations, has great food, and a good wine selection. The service is timely and friendly. We will continue to have Nosh as our number 1 choice before Creighton games."

  • "Our group of four had a fantastic time grabbing a bite to eat and some cocktails before an Omaha Symphony performance. Within walking distance of the Holland, it's perfect! Our server (Jessica, I think?) was attentive without being cloying, and was great with food and cocktail recommendations. FANTASTIC booze selection plus creative and delicious cocktails. Happy hour menu ROCKS - will definitely have the duck tacos and steak sliders again! Even the fries are delicious! Cozy ambiance and great location - we will definitely visit again!"
