NOSH euro bistroWhat a wonderful find!I heard about the restaurant and decided to try it for a family dinner with our young daughter in tow. Immediately we liked the vibe, then had a hard time choosing what to eat because it all sounded so good. It turned out to be such an enjoyable evening and we definitely will be back! Great food and wonderful hosts.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMThe Copper River Salmon andThe Copper River Salmon and Cod Parmesan were delicious as was the Mezze appetizer and profiteroles for dessert.6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Evening out!!Always a great dinner spot. Very attentive server.....Rebecca. Lots of personality. Love it aways.6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMAttention all FoodiesThis place is so wonderful. I feel like part of their family now. The proprietor stopped by to see how we were doing twice and had time to talk. She was so nice and the others also seemed to have the same vested interest in making sure our dining experience was magnificent. I had the Beef Wellington and my husband had the Pan seared Rib eye; both were "tres magnifique" as were the salads, escargot, and zucchini blossoms. We received the advice from their gastronomical facilitator, their wine expert, and our waitperson was an absolute delight. For a restaurant to be able to specialize in all European foods, I was a bit hesitant to set my expectations too high, but it seemed as though they are managing quiet nicely. Loved it, all of it!!!6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMWine spill was a good night! The table next to us accidentally spilled red wine on my white pants. They were very apologetic and our server Eric ran and got me extra napkins and club soda. The hostess and manager checked on my numerous times. The manager gave me a tip for getting the wine out that actually worked (liquid dish soap, let it dry then wash) and the food was wonderful. It was a total accident but the couple and the restaurant went above and beyond to make up for it. Eric was wonderfully funny, personable and knowledgeable about the menu. We'll be back as often as we can get in! My girlfriends were there on a Tuesday night and it was packed, lots of laughter and good food, we loved it!!6/6/2013 12:00:00 AMNOSH continues to excelWe have never been disappointed at Nosh. They consistently provide excellent menu offerings that include old standards and new innovations. Service was solid from the moment of arrival. It is a treat in Dallas to have a restaurant that maintains quality over the years as there are truly too few places that do.5/29/2013 12:00:00 AMSmall neighborhood bistro-styleSmall neighborhood bistro-style venue offered outstanding, creative calamari salad for lunch, if other diners a bit disappointed in both size and clever if unfulfilled preparation of Romaine and shrimp salads. Service unacceptably unfriendly, if still worth a return visit.5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food!! The Big FishGreat food!! The Big Fish which was a whole fish filleted tableside was amazing! The salads and escargot to start were also perfect. We were there for pre-theatre dining and they got us out on time too!5/23/2013 12:00:00 AMPre theater dinnerWaiter made great suggestions about specials. The gazpacho , the watermelon and heirloom tomato salad were excellent as were the fish special and cheesburger.5/15/2013 12:00:00 AMNosh on something goodNosh - we had a ribeye special and a rack of lamb special. Each was in the $39 range, a little pricey but the outcome was very good!5/14/2013 12:00:00 AMCompetent and straightforward.Competent and straightforward. Nothing too exciting, which is exactly what you need sometimes. A good place to celebrate an early Mother's Day dinner. The staff was accomodating to everone (3 generations) and the food was well prepared. Good apple tart for desert.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMNosh does not disappointWe were just going to hit the bar for Happy Hour, and ended up staying for 3 hours. The 1/2 price appetizers were varied and very good. My wife had not had bone marrow, and is now hooked. The hummus platter was outstanding, calamari was only OK. Could not have had a better time. Looking forward to our next visit.5/8/2013 12:00:00 AMWould go back just not a weekend. The tables were a little close so you could hear your neighbors conversation. I had to lean in and shout at my guest to partake in our conversation. Our waiter was nice but his accent was so thick we could barely understand what he was telling us. Food was good except that some dishes needed a dash of salt.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat evening with a new find. The food, service and ambience were excellent. It reminds me of a classic New York restaurant. We will be back.5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMLovely, lazy lunchHad a lovely lazy lunch with a girlfriend. The tempura brussels sprouts starter was fresh and delicious - we didn't leave a leaf unconsumed! Everything we ordered was the right temperature and well presented. Service was attentive and gracious.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMSecond Vist even better than first. This was our second visit...and even better than our first. Table was ready when we arrived, and the restaurant was busy but not overly crowded. We had really enjoyed the food last visit and NOSH didn't disappoint this trip either. Kristi, our server, recommended the Wagyu Meatballs which were very tasty, and then helped us sort through the specials. Manila Clams were on the menu and while I often see mussles featured on Dallas menus I don't often see clams - and these were very good. Also try the brussel sprouts (even if you don't like them)which were prepeared tempura style -- very light and delicious. Wine list is smaller than some but varied with all price ranges represented. Lovely evening, great food, wonderful service.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food and service wereThe food and service were excellent. Try the tempura Brussels sprouts. Fantastic.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMThe calamari and meatloafThe calamari and meatloaf were some of the best I've had in a long time. The menu us innovative and fresh. The owner as well as the waitstaff and bartenders were very personable, and aimed to please all night. I'll definitely return to NOSH.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was our first experienceThis was our first experience with Nosh and I must say I was very pleasantly surprised. The food was great, the wine per glass expensive and not great, but overall a really good experience.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMThe venue was intimate & veryThe venue was intimate & very nicely designed & decorated. We were disappointed the happy hour drink specials were only offerd to people sitting in the bar area, being that our table was within arms reach of the bar but were told our table was not considered "in the bar area". We felt happy hour specials should be offered to all guests during happy hour. We recieved very good service except for one time period after finishing our appetizers when we couldn't find our server to order our main meal. The main entres were all excellent & everyone was pleased with presentation, taste & value, however $13 for the cheese plate appetizer was overpriced for the small amount and little variety of cheses (only Blue & Swiss) that was served.3/20/2013 12:00:00 AMA cut aboveAvner Samuels has created a real gem. Dallas is fortunate to have some one with his talent.
Some place that you will want to return to often.3/9/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Cuisine, Service, ValueNosh Euro Bistro offers an impressive combination of outstanding service and delicious new American cuisine. The value provided for an exceptional dining experience is remarkable. We started with Lobster Shooters, Bone Marrow, Salads & Onion Soup. Entrees ranged from Scallops to Mixed Grill, to Duck Confit, with Truffled Mac & Cheese, and Brussel Sprouts, all highly recommended. Finished with delicious Banana Croissant Bread Puding. Our party of 6 enjoyed a brilliant dining experience!2/25/2013 12:00:00 AM
