Nosh - Artful DiningWe were very pleased withWe were very pleased with our experience. Food and service were great. Our water glasses were filled often by two very sweet and attentive servers. Will be back and definitely recommend.6/9/2013 12:00:00 AMGood food, lovely buildingI didn't specify inside or outside when I made the reservation. They seated us outside, and it's a lovely area, but the loud fans and multiple TVs set on sports channels were not what we like there. We asked to be moved inside, and it was quiet, elegant, and fascinating, with old brick fireplace topped by an antique mantel. The upstairs rooms inside are lovely too. The special we had was delicious (snapper with crab in champagne sauce) but they ran out of that and the key lime pie--so go early to be sure you get the best. The wine we had was excellent (Cotes de Provence rose).
Currently the best restaurant near Pawley's.5/30/2013 12:00:00 AMBeautiful experienceI have been to Nosh a couple of times and really enjoy it. The food is very good and I like that they add a couple of twists - for example, the Caesar salad has feta and red onions. It's excellent. They have a nice wine list with reasonable prices. The decor is lovely - more urban than you'd expect from a beach restaurant. The service was very good - not fussy, but attentive. And, it's open on Sundays. Definitely worth a visit.5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMNosh May 13, 2013We had a fabulous evening...in the small private side room. There were 8 of us...all old friends...and not a quiet group. Our waitress, Tanya, was absolutely outstanding! She had a wonderful sense of humor and fit in with our crowd perfectly. The food was outstanding. It was an extremely memorable evening for all of us. We loved Nosh.5/13/2013 12:00:00 AMMother's Day TreatI wanted to take my mom somewhere special for Mother's Day and this was the perfect spot. This place had the best shrimp and grits i have ever had in my life! Maybe it was the addition of the ham but WOW! I could have eaten many more bowls of this dish! The lobster scampi (this was the better soup of the 2 to me) and she-crab soup were very good too. If Im ever in this area again, this restaurant will be my top pick to visit again.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMWe sat in the covered patioWe sat in the covered patio and enjoyed the whole experience. Great food, friendly and especially the excellent oldies band. Loved it.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMElegant Dining in Rustic SettingNosh - Artful Dining was a wonderful surprise. We were greeted warmly by the hostess who informed us that she moved us to a better table than the one "assigned" when we booked our reservation. Our waiter was marvelous! We enjoyed the view of the natural surroundings in this area of shops and pathways from large windows by our table. Appetizers are large enough for more than two people! Our soup, salad and entrees were wonderful. We did not feel rushed nor did we have to wait for service. The wine list was varied with many reasonably-priced wines to choose from. The presentation of the food was excellent. We look forward to returning!4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMA pleasant brunch experienceA pleasant brunch experience in an al fresco setting.4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful!!!My husband, myself and another couple decided to try Nosh for tapas/small dishes. We were greeted at the door by a very nice hostess who showed us to the quaint little bar where we waited for our friends to arrive. The bartender was pleasant and a server came from the back and chatted with us. It was relaxing and comfortable. We were seated at a table out on an enclosed porch which was very nice. This place is a gem in Pawleys Island, the tapa plates were wonderful, fresh and nicely presented. Our server, Justin, was very proffessional and right on with the service. We truly enjoyed Nosh and will be returning soon to try their entrees. Thank you Nosh for a wonderful dining experience.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMThis restaurant is run byThis restaurant is run by a friendly staff who truly know their business. The menu is one of the most varied I have ever seen. The food (appetizers, entrees, desserts) was perfection. It was well worth the price. We were a party of seven and no one had a negative comment.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMA very nice place to relax.Food was ok, all orders when delivered were incorrect. Food was Good . Waitress was very friendly.3/26/2013 12:00:00 AMNosh, wonderful mealWe went to NOSH for my birthday, requested a table by the fire; we sat right next to it, which was lovely. Our server was Angel, a young girl who was very pleasant and provided us with a wonderful dining experience. A man at a table next to us turned and said, "you have Angel, I have the devil". Was not sure why he said that, until his waiter came near us (after that couple had left) and I spoke to him about how quiet/empty the restaurant was for a Tuesday, and he gave me a very snippy answer. Wow, did not expect that.Glad we had Angel!Over all, the food was wonderful. I had the flounder with crab, huge portion (took home for my husband) and he had the duck. His duck was outstanding. Ceasar salad he had was enough for two.Next time!3/12/2013 12:00:00 AMMy daughter and I were meetingMy daughter and I were meeting to celebrate her engagement and discuss plans for her upcoming wedding.
