  • "My wife's grouper was very dry and my snapper was just average."

  • "Took family here after a memorial service for lunch. All was great lunch price much more reasonable than dinner."

  • "Friendly and appropriate for foodies. The crab cake sandwich and fried sweet potatoes rivaled any in Baltimore or New York. Service was friendly and offered an opportunity for us tourists to get a little local information. Key lime pie was tasty but too rich for our northerners' taste."

  • "This restaurant has a great outdoor deck that is also heated for cold weather. The brunch was very tasty. My friends had eggs benedict and I had a custom omelet. The kitchen was gracious to make me an omelet not on the menu for the same price. all meals came with polenta grits and fruit. And a bloody mary bar where you could make your own mixture for only $5. The service was wonderful and someone was always nearby to help. I will definitely be going back."

  • "We have dined at Nosh many, many times and have never been disappointed. The food is consistently delicious and the service is very good."

  • "In the last two years the menu and the chiefs capability of providing new taste delights is fabulous. The sauces that the Chief has developed are delectable and would be the envy of many Grand Strand Chiefs. I only have one negative about the food, the staff some nights do not peel the potatoes for the garlic mashed potatoes and other nights the staff consider the older customers with store bought teeth and peel the potatoes."

  • "We passed this restaurant several times and were looking for something open on a Sunday. We arrived to a great atmosphere with stone walls and wood beams, something unexpected for South Carolina. I had the caprese salad and enjoyed it a great deal. Main courses were good, but nothing memorable. I titled this" repeat visit" as we were there on a Sunday Id give Nosh a second chance for a prime time visit to either dispel or confirm my thoughts. Service was very friendly and professional and on top of things."

  • "We come to this charming restaurant every year as part of our golf get-away, and it has always been a treat. This year our server, Georgia, was great and very knowledgeable. All the entrees were up to par except for the famed mussels which lacked the flavor one would expect in the broth. The lamb chops were quite good even though they were slightly overcooked. We brought some wine we needed to drink prior to getting on the plane the next day, and were somewhat taken back by a corkage fee of $20. I certainly understand a corkage fee, but thought this was over the top. Will we be back next year? Verdict is out."

  • "Had a lovely meal with a long-time friend. The crab stuffed flounder with champagne sauce was excellent. It is now the "off" season, so we basically had the place to ourselves. Will dine here again on my next trip to the area. One note of caution....some of their seafood is not bought locally - comes from overseas, so ask lots of questions about freshness and places of origin."
