  • "Memorable meal...for all the right reasons! Par excellence!"

  • "Not everyone enjoys locally produced craft beers! I would have liked to have more poultry choices. Dessert menu was grand; however, we did not order dessert."

  • "Food is varied and the menu offers items you don't see often, which is good. Servers are friendly and not snooty. Beer selection and wine selection is good. Location is close to Peace Center so that it is a great place to have a pre-show meal. They do have a kid's menu."

  • "We've eaten at Nose Dive at least 30 times! It's usually GREAT, but this time our food was just so-so. The sage biscuit, however, was excellent! The tacos (we had two different kinds) were both bland. The veggies were bland. The sweet potato fries were way too salty. One person in our party loved the burger, though we all thought the tater tots and grit tots lacked flavor. And we used to get a scotch egg, but it's no longer on the menu. It will be missed! Phil was training as a waiter and he did a great job."

  • "I've been to Nose Dive when the food's been great and also when it's been ho hum. This most recent visit fell into the ho hum category. They change the menu occasionally. I'd give it another try after a while before writing the place off."

  • "Nose Dive has always pleased me and the friends who have joined me there. The current cocktails are loaded with layers of taste. We enjoy the menu that is not overloaded with choices yet provides unique food experiences. The one thing that has typically lagged is bar service. Can't understand why it takes so long to be served cocktails when ordered and why our wines arrived midway or at the end of eating the entrees. Our waitress also removed plates while forks were in midair, even though ND was not crowded. No one was waiting to turn our table. Still, the food and beverages are wonderful!"

  • "Excellent Service, Excellent Food, and Awesome atmosphere as usual! Have been before and will definitely be coming back again. I Invited someone who was new to the area and he seemed to very much enjoy the experience as well."

  • "I tried the spiced tater tots side dish this visit, and they were pretty good. For my main I went with a burger, but "medium" ended up being a very pink almost red center, so next time I will definitely order well done here. Food came out right and fairly quickly, overall great experience."

  • "Very, very limited menu, slightly awkward service, undercooked and extremely salty risotto. Cocktails were excellent, thank God."
    Dined on 7/14/2014
  • "The food was very good but much too salty. I had the fish and grits and while the fish was cooked to perfection, it was overpowered by the salty grits underneath. Could not eat most of the grits. My mimosa was mainly o.juice, not much champagne, but the waiter accommodated me by adding more champagne to my drink. I added poached eggs to my order and they were cooked just right - no salt! This was our second visit to Nose Dive- we'll probably come again."

  • "Our first visit to Greenville and Nosedive was our dinner choice. Glad we did! Outdoor seating, good weather and facinating "people watching" made the evening quite enjoyable."

  • "This was our first time eating here. Had a great dinner and the staff was amazing. The staff made suggestions about the menu as well as the wine and beer lists."

  • "it is most convenient to my office and a nice spot to take clients. this is the second bad food and bad service incident for us. We were hoping the nose dive could make it. we like that is is casual and takes lunch reservation, but we will have to walk on by."

  • "Ultimately, no complaints. Food was great, excellent draft beer selection. Waitress looked like she didn't want to be there, but who doesn't have those days at work?"
    Dined on 7/9/2014
  • "I stopped by for a quick lunch and was thrilled with the burger of the day! Sweet potato fries could have been crispier and warmer. Service was outstanding. Fun people watching. Coming here is always a fun experience."

  • "On our 2nd anniversary, me and my wife decided to go to the Nose Dive. Everything was nice, from the food to the staff. Highly recommended."

  • "Simply put, the unfortunately named 'Nose Dive' is a very good find. The Chef blends flavors and textures extremely well and adds a new twist with every dish. Classics like deviled eggs and pork tacos are made anew and exciting. We visited for dinner on the 4 of July and had a really nice time. I wouldn't describe it as necessarily romantic just because it has that bistro feel. But, you won't disappoint your date if you go there. The wine list is concise though not comprehensive. The food is fresh, interesting, and definitely for foodies. Highly recommended. Also they have an extensive GF offering."

  • "We had an enjoyable evening at the Nose Dive. We went there prior to watching the 4th of July festivities in downtown Greenville. Our meal was very good; I only wish there were more choices available. I do appreciate Nose Dive taking reservations, especially on such a busy night."

  • "My husband and I are from New York and we're visiting relatives in Greenville. We decided to eat brunch here and we're so blown away we came back a few days later for dinner and we're not disappointed! Our waiter was outstanding and the food top notch! Fantastic find located right in the center of downtown!"

  • "The Nose Dive is a great place to enjoy as part of the vibrant Greenville downtown scene. For those with food allergies this is your place. The menu has an extensive selection of gluten free choices and the Chef will work to accommodate your dietary needs."

  • "We have been here several times and are very disappointed. Food was boring. Soup was horrible bean, pea, and onion. Service was the worst we've experienced in downtown Greenville in a long time. I had to find my waiter and his attention was non existent. Kid grill cheese was best plate on the table."

  • "We met out of town friends and had outdoor seating. It was our 2nd time at Nose Dive. We are guessing our server was new since he didn't have answers to all our questions about some of the entrees and just read off the description on the menu. Also, just handed us a list of beers not listed on the beer/wine menu. He was attentive. Our first experience our server was very knowledgeable. We would go back. Enjoyed eating outside and watching all the people going by."

  • "Have been to the Nose Dive a couple times for lunch which proved to be great quality. I enjoyed my beet salad and risotto for dinner. The beets were different colors and very tasty. A few less candied walnuts or even plain walnuts may have been a better choice too. Our friends said the fish and chips were dry. I am a vegetarian and this proved to be another challenging restaurant for me in Greenville. Naturally I always prefer more vegetarian choices. I did have a great glass of chardonnay called Paperboy. It was inexpensive and delicious."

  • "My in-laws, husband, son and I went to Nose Dive for brunch on Father's Day. What a great experience! Nice view, great service, and excellent food (can't get enough of that grits bar)! We never go out for brunch and my husband even told me the next day that he wanted to return to Nose Dive brunch more often! YAY! :)"

  • "Unfortunately Nose Dive was very disappointing. A lot of servers and wait staff yet it still took 15 minutes to place a drink order. Water glasses were never refilled during our 1 1/2 hour meal there. Restaurant decor is lacking. Not sure what image they're going for but they have achieved dull. "

  • "One of my favorites, the fish taco, was taken off the menu. Ordered the fish and chips instead. OK but bland. It's lost its appeal as a lively gastro pub. "

  • "I've been to Nose Dive several times now. Each time, I try something new. Everything has been delicious! The service is always a little hit or miss, but it's not because they're rude... they're just a bit forgetful. I guess they have a bunch of tables. I love eating outside on the side walk and people watching. Delicious wine... excellent drinks... the deviled eggs are awesome! Perfect for dinner before a show at the Peace Center. "

  • "Overall the Easter meal was good. The attendant at the carving station was friendly and hospitable. The other station would have been more inviting with a friendly attendant on hand. Our waiter did not give any direction as to what foods were where. He simply said help your self to the buffet. We had to ask where the kids food was located. We also had to ask for water when we ran out. I don't think it is needed on a regular basis but for a special occasion buffet, I think a complimentary cup of coffee would have nice. Overall I think better hospitality would help. You want to give people a reason to visit your special occasions every time."

  • "We didn't expect a buffet, but we were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious with a good selection of breakfast and lunch items. We will certainly go again."

  • "Four of us had lunch here on Friday. The staff was very accommodating when we were late due to traffic. I was surprised that the restaurant wasn't busier, but most tables were full as we ate. We had the fish & chips, the Southerner salad with seared salmon, and the lobster roll with avocado. Everyone enjoyed their lunch. I will definitely go back on a future trip into Greenville. "

  • "We went once as a family and had a wonderful time. Only one in our group of 6 adults and 2 kids did not enjoy his meal. Second visit with 6 friends was very disappointing. Food took 1.5 hours to appear and it wasn't good. The restaurant was very apologetic and assured us they were having one-time problems that evening. We returned for this final visit, we were 3 and it was again disappointing. It was an hour before our meals arrived. While my mother and I enjoyed our fish, my husband's chicken was dry and very over cooked. They replaced it, but it only added to our disappointment in the restaurant. We will probably not go back."

  • "service was good...but set up was a little confusing...our server had people in/outside...so lots of time lost in transit. (She tried her best...but we found ourselves sitting a lot/waiting). I'd say it was noisy...not energetic. I ordered something that was supposed to be crispy, but it was burnt (they took it off my bill) but, in general, nothing super memorable about the meal. We hadn't tried it so decided to go....since we typically like Table 301. Couldn't quite tell what the branding was supposed to be...a pub...or casual restaurant...or what. We sat inside....but outside seemed to be set up nicely. We will probably go back for a quick bite or drink and sit outside."

  • "This was my first trip to Nose Dive. The menu was limited but excellent and I actually appreciated the fact that I didn't have 4- 6 pages of menu to study. The service was superior and the best part was the waiter didn't buzz around the table like a fly but kept his eyes on us to make sure we were not in need. I had the Caesar salad and Carolina Gold Risotto while my daughter had the short ribs. All were excellent. The wine & beer list are very good and the menu while not large is very diverse. Once ordered the food was out quickly, which was good since we were headed to the Peace Center. The room was quiet and the view of Main Street was available to every table in the house. It was my first time, but it will not be my last."
