A business colleague took me to dinner here a few weeks back and the service and food was excellent. I left looking forward to returning. Last week, I took a friend here for a late-night dinner and left scratching my head, hungry and disappointed. I ordered the marlin special ($24), which came on a "bed" of broccolini cut up so small that I actually wondered if they had run out. The fish was overcooked to the point of being dry and tasteless (and when you manage to dry out a piece of fresh marlin, that's remarkable). But I will be back. The place is cute, and even though it's so loud that you have to shout to be heard, supporting a locally owned biz in NE Mpls is more important that just about anything. (It is locally owned, right?!)

Service was good from the get go. Hostess was very pleasant and waiter was attentive. Scalops were excellent.Entree was OK and dessert was a chocolate delight.

Probably one of the best burgers I ever had - melted in your mouth and so tender. You might want to share it and split a salad too - the burger is very rich and tasty. Being hearing impaired, the only down side was not being able to hear my server or my partner because of the noise, but still worth it!
