We loved the food! Our salads along with the bread were a meal in themselves, creative and very delicious. My spicy shrimp pasta was the perfect texture with a lot of zip. My husband had a margarita pizza and loved it. We didn't sit out on the patio and will request it next time. The night view over Tucson is gorgeous and it would be a quieter environment. It was far too loud indoors to converse comfortably, which was very disappointing. The deliciousness of the food was dampened by the overall volume of the restaurant (at least the night that we were there). EVERYTHING from the greeting when we walked in to a picture taken when we left was GREAT to say the least! We were welcomed with a warm smile and quickly seated. Our waitress was knowledgeable made great recommendations, was attentive, funny and courteous! EVERYTHING tasted GREAT! Menu was decently priced and they even gave us a complimentary dessert in celebration of our special night! I loved the modern look it used to have. But the change of menu is spectacular. All of their pastas are made in house and are fantastic, the italian farmhouse salad and their new bruschetta is awesome, the zucca chips are a must have. I also love the wine selections and happy hour menu items. And for a sweet treat at the end they have these little doughnuts with a lemon creme that are so good and refreshing. So, I chose North because it was highly recommended on Open Table. The service was good and the food was even better. We had a beautiful table outside on the patio. There was a large group of boisterous people at a nearby table, and though it was bit distracting, I figured they were just enjoying the evening out. Overall, North is worth the trip.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMDeafeningWe want to love NoRTH, really we do, but the noise level is deafening. Our waiter had to shout, and asked us to repeat our orders. The hostess, who was on the phone, was hovering near the wall with her free hand cupped over her other ear. The music was SO loud that the noise level from people talking loudly to be heard over the music ramped up. We may not return unless we can sit on the patio (which was ALSO noisy).

Pasta was excellent! We had requested an outside table, and due to a very large party, there were no more tables outside. The restaurant really went the extra mile to make us happy, moving an inside table outdoors for us and bringing us a complimentary appetizer, which was delicious! We'll be back for sure.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious, farm-fresh food!The Italian Farm salad is one of the best salads I have ever eaten, filled with fresh lettuce, a light dressing, parmesan cheese, olives, cucumbers, and peppers, all served on a board. Easy to share if you are also ordering an entree.
The only thing I was missing was quiet time with my dinner date (my sweet husband). The noise in the interior of the restaurant is pretty noisy when many diners are present. We love the patio and have eaten out there for lunch.

The food was excellent and the view while sitting outside was perfect and the service was near perfect. Everyone from the hostess to the waitress were very pleasant and seemed genuinely happy that we were there. Sitting outside was very comfortable and I especially liked that the tables were not ten inches apart but ten feet apart at least.
