We were immediately seated upon our arrival and our server promptly greeted us. He was helpful in providing additional details about some of the entrees and took our orders without delay. Not so dark that it was difficult to read the menu, but no glare at all. I was asking about cocktails and our waiter suggested one that was not on the menu and it was wonderful, summery - I think is was called The Botanical. It had cucumber and gin and lime. My wife and I go there often.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMExtremely disappointed.NoRTHExtremely disappointed.NoRTH was one of my favorite restaurants here since moving to Scottsdale.We took friends there from Australia so they can try it.My favorite dish there was the short rib pasta with capers, peppers, red sauce, and ribbon pasta.I cannot believe this but they took it off the menu and replaced it with this horrible gnocchi ricotta cream sauce that was so bland it took everything in me not douse it with salt just so it could have flavor.Who in their right mind would replace such a wonderful dish for this?The ONLY saving grace is that the service here is (always has been) wonderful.The server knew how disappointed I was and had the chef make the old dish.That was very nice of them but I am still in shock that it's gone.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food and wine was great.The food and wine was great.
