"We are Italian and this has the best Northern Italian food we have ever eaten. It is for a special night. We sat outside and it was so pleasant. Don't miss this place if you are visiting Ft. Lauderdale and certainly make it a "frequent" stop if you live there."

"An excellent beachside restaurant, with a chance to enjoy the food and ocean on the veranda. Food is also very good. Our table of 4 enjoyed their meals and view of the beach and passing ships. Service ranged from inattentive to very good over the course of the evening. I enjoy visiting this restaurant regularly."

"Booked a room for my Wifte's birthday at the Pelican Grand Resort and made a reservation for dinner at the North Ocean Grille in the hotel. I made a request for something special for her and they brought out a desert with candles and sang for her so that was cool. This is one of the only restaurants in the Ft Lauderdale beach where you are right on the ocean without any foot traffic or A1A running between you and the water. Absoultely gorgeous views, great food, and very well priced. My wife had the surf & turf special, $35 including salad & desert, and it was awesome, a huge lobster tail that was really great and a nice filet. She said it was one of the best lobsters she's ever had. The turkey sausage meat loaf was great too!"

"We had lunch on the veranda with a backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean. It doesn't get any better than that. The Lunch menu had a very good variety of choices. The Cuban was delicious as was the seafood bisque."

"The overpriced Christmas day buffet featured a limited display of mediocre food (two standouts were the excellent bleu cheese and the goose legs.) At one end of the buffet line a large man was making omelettss when he wasn't lounging against the wall, yawning widely--without covering his mouth--and making loud, grammatically bad conversation with his fellows. Table service was fine and the view very nice. At one point a young man dressed as Santa came around distributing small candy canes. I generally don't look a gift horse in the mouth, but, really, a candy cane at a $60 buffet? I wasn't looking for something more expensive; rather, a bit more imaginative. I guess that pretty much sums up my experience at North Ocean Grille."
