We’ve turned a modern lens on traditional Italian cooking. North Italia is our love letter to Italy—a place that’ll make you feel like you’ve stepped off a charming side street to discover a culinary gem. After a decade in business, we’ve learned a thing or two and we’re approaching perfection in the art of handmade pasta and pizza. Every day, we start from scratch to create dishes like Strozzapreti with Bloomsdale spinach or supple ribbons of tagliatelle for our Bolognese. Our pizza is a revelation: an airy, barely chewy center embraced by a perfectly crisp crust. The food was wonderful and all six of our party enjoyed their meals. But something that is extraordinary happened at our table. The waitstaff and chef went out of their way to accommodate a customer with a serious food allergy in the most caring and sincere manner. Bravo to the staff and management!"

We had requested either a window table or a booth and were pleasantly surprised when we got a very large, comfy booth for just the two of us. The food was exceptional. My husband had the pasta with Bolognese sauce, I had the seared diver scallops on mushroom risotto, both were excellent."

Pesto pasta- pasta was good, pesto lacked . Scallops were cooked perfectly. Bolognase was very yummy. Apps, soup pork and white bean was so good, great texture and flavor, beet salad was bland , I have had better, and bruschetta was ok. Salted caramel dessert was something I would come back for, tiramisu was dry."

Every thing was executed really well. My only suggestion is in regards to the layout of the tables in the space. There seems to be too many for the area, If you could reduce some to make it feel not as tight, I think the dinner would have a better experience."

  • "On Saturday a group of four of us went out to dinner at North. We all left extremely satisfied and are already planning our next trip to come back! The food is amazing; three of us ordered handmade pasta dishes, and one of us order the braised beef rib. Not a bite was left uneaten, but the definite winner for the night was the beef rib. We also shared the bruschetta before our meal and it is not your normal tomato bruschetta, so while we were surprised at what we got we loved it! The service was awesome, and we even got an update as our food was cooking as to how long before we would be served. The only negative thing I can say is that the sangria was underwhelming. It wasn't horrible by any means, it just wasn't great."

I had my heart set on something that was not on the restaurant menu though so I had a hard time figuring out what to order. I went with the beef braised short ribs, which were amazing! My fiance had the spicy shrimp, which was not so great. He said it had little flavor and was very bland. The staff was friendly, our waiter kept disappearing for long periods of time but was very friendly."

Our server was attentive and gave great recommendations. She noticed I was pregnant and offered up some information about a few dishes that could be a good choice for me given I only eat certain things. The barrata was amazing and I loved the strozzapreti. My mom and Mother in law both got the dish with scallops and raved about it. Save room for some doughnuts to finish up the meal!"

Our food possessed a combination of freshness and seasoning that jumped off the plate and into your tastebuds in a a way that kept me thinking for days about how delicious my rosemary chicken was. I never thought that chicken prepared so simply could be raised to such a high level. On a ration of food quality to price "North" is a great value."
