Diner Reviews
  • "This place is amazing. We had Christina for our waitress and she couldn't have been any better. Katie went above and beyond. She alone would make us go back. And the food- outstanding. All four of us cleaned out plates. A five-star experience."

  • " Mediocre food. Server treated us like we were a plague. She took one look at us and assumed we won't tip well so gave us poor service. Walked away while we were talking to her. Made no eye contact our smiled. We usually tip between 20-25%. She got the base of 15% out of sure generosity. Ribeye Steak was folded at the corners like a cheap steak, very thin and no flavor."

  • "We were delighted with the delicious meal we had at North Beach Bistro. Do not be turned off because it is in a shopping center....fabulous find for us!"

  • "Great food, superb service, really enjoyed the pace of the meal. Everything from the fried green tomatoes appetizer with warm bacon vinaigrette dressing to the the peach bread pudding desert were expertly prepared. My dining partner had the Scottish Salmon entree and loved it, savory and flavorful. I had the pork loin special as the waiter explained; breakfast lunch and dinner as it was made up of pork loin, andouille sausage and bacon smothered with a wonderful white gravy and sautéed collard greens like I have never had, delicious. Our waiter, Mark had a great command of the menu and showed up at our table at all the right times, and kept the pace of courses moving expertly. Pleasant & serene, with soft pop&live music Fridays & Saturdays."

  • "You are greeted warmly and taken to a table promptly into a warm dark wood leave your troubles at the door. I needed a well lit table and I was plead by the windows but that made is so that I could not see the wonderful ballet of the working kitchen that is quite a scene to watch. I had the shrimp and grits that had a good kick to it. The beef short ribs were so tender you could cut with a fork and the risotto could have been just a tad creamier but the flavor was divine. Dessert! GA Peach Bread Pudding 2 people ate and there were leftovers! Orange Creme brulee was excellent also but I won't share it sweet lusciousness with anyone"

  • "The brunch selection was very limited but that was not the main problem. Had the items that were available been tasty the small selection would not have been an issue. The food was mediocre (and that is being generous). Nothing was horrible but nothing was delicious. The peel and eat shrimp were small and had a weird consistency. Most of the fare was pleasing to the eye but it lacked flavor of any kind, almost like it was devoid of any seasoning. The desserts were not good as well. The "Bottomless Mimosa's" were warm and served from an old looking plastic water pitcher. Not the nice Father's Day brunch I expected. For the price it was not a good deal and definitely not a good memory."

  • "My husband celebrated his 40th birthday this past weekend and I made reservations at North Beach for the occasion. I had planned on a larger party but had to change our reservation at the last minute and they were so accommodating. I ordered a birthday cake and wanted it to be a surprise and my mom dropped it off before dinner and they kept it refrigerated for us. We were REALLY late to dinner, almost 30 minutes, and my best friend arrived on time and decorated our table. It was a great atmosphere, our server was super nice and so accommodating. We didn't even realize we were the last table in the restaurant at the end of the night. The food was great, we weren't rushed or pushed out the door even though they were closing. Great place!"

  • "The atmosphere and food were great. We were very disappointed in there not being an ounce of recognition of the reason we chose the restaurant for our special anniversary night. We noted within the reservation we were out to celebrate an anniversary and even went and reiterated this to the hostess after our appetizers and the server not mentioning anything. However, neither the hostess nor server even mentioned / congratulated us. This was very disappointing as we'd had a much different experience at this restaurant before. Looks like next celebration we'll have to go elsewhere."

  • "The North Beach is one of our favorite restaurants at the beach. We are new to the area (18 months) and absolutely loved our four experiences at the North Beach, from the hostess to the bartender to the server. The owners have trained their people very well. Of course we will back , soon, Joe"

  • "We had family that was visiting from Europe and have not experienced the American custom of St Patrick's Day. My husband and I were looking for a taste of Irelnad, but a quiet spot a way from all of the over the top St Patrick's Day hoopla! From the green beer, the Guinees and corned beef and cabbage, North Beach Bistro did not disappoint! Don't pass up the hot skillet chocolate chip cookie! It was superb! Great food and great service!"
    Dined on 3/17/2014
  • "They know how to prepare delicious feasts at North Beach Bistro! While the partyers were in the adjacent bar, the quieter crowd was with us in the dining room. The corned beef and cabbage were the most delicious we've ever had. Thank you for a great end to a great day!"

  • "The food is always good here but their St. Patty's Day special menu (Fri - Mon) was phenomenal! The Guinness cheese soup was decadent - and way too filling- should be a smaller portion. We cleaned every drop in the bowl with bread! Corned beef and cabbage melted in your mouth. No room for dessert!."

  • "We were a party of four and we had a reservation for 6:30 pm and were seated immediately when we arrived. We sat in the dining room. We enjoyed our server and she was very helpful in finalizing our dinner choices. We had the salmon and it was very good. Some of us had the American kobe beef burger with frites and onion rings. The frites could have been more crisp, they were to soggy, the onion rings were unusual but tasty. The burger was excellent. This was not our first time and we would go back again."

  • "Good experience as usual. Was busy tonight so is not a good night to evaluate but they came through as always. We will return of course. Wish it was a 1000 point restaurant as we go there all the time."

  • "We booked for VDay. Our waiter informed us that there was a limited menu, only items from the Valentine's Day menu were avail, we could pick from that menu and we could leave if we wanted. YIKES! We stayed - there was a price listed at the bottom of $54.95 for an appetizer, main course and dessert. ME - Crab Soup, Filet and a Bud Light. My husband - Lobster, dessert and a Sprite. We always guess at the bill. I guessed $65 and he guessed $64. Our bill was $92!! We didn't get close to an app, main course and dessert x's 2. Insane price for the quality. We will go with Ruth's Chris, Morton's, III Forks next time - those are for sure spots when you want a really enjoyable meal! No flatware wrapped in paper napkins there!"

  • "We had a large group of about 10 people on a Saturday night. The service and food were very nice. It was our first time there and seemed like more of a quiet, romantic restaurant with a separate bar area w music. We will definitely go back."
