Norma's at Le Parker MeridienIncredible! The service and food is amazing! I can truly say I've never had such a good breakfast before. It was completely delicious from beginning to start.5/13/2013 12:00:00 AMNorma'sgood food and patient service even when my guests were 1/2 hour late......really perfect experience.5/13/2013 12:00:00 AMMother's Day at Norma's.Beautiful place to eat. Loved the free refills on fresh orange juice. Would have liked something a little extra in acknowledgement of the holiday but enjoyed every moment of the experience. Excellent service - welcoming - daughter one hour late for brunch and as soon as she got there they let us in immediately. Came from Salt Lake City and this was a special experience for me. Thanks Norma's!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMA must-do!Went to Norma's for brunch on Mother's Day, and the food was DELICIOUS! A little pricey, but totally worth it. Good service, ample serving sizes.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMTop of our to-do listMy wife and I visit New York City twice a year. No matter how busy our itinerary is, we always put a visit to Norma's at the top of our to-do list.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMA favorite, despite slippageI love this place and always try to come here when I'm in NYC. The cooking staff of late hasn't been living up to the previous standard nor the high prices. This is very expensive even by NYC standards. It would be completely worth it if the food were always perfect. I still come here hoping there's a devoted chef in the kitchen that day. It happens!5/7/2013 12:00:00 AMMy favorite breakfast in NYCI love breakfast and Norma's has a great breakfast. I make sure I have at least one breakfast meeting at Norma's when I am in NYC. They just do a great job. The only knock is sometimes the service levels can degrade based on how full they are at the time. For example, two of us ordered hot chocolate and it took a while to receive them. This year we had waffles, crepes, an omlet and pancakes and everyone was satisfied (it is a good bit of food also) with their selections.5/7/2013 12:00:00 AMNorma'sSuper fun place for a special brunch to celebrate a birthday or occasion. The food is amazing and never disappoints. Worth the preplanning for a reservation!!5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMLots of Good FoodI definitely recommend this Norma's to all foodies. The food is plentiful and delicious. The presentation is remarkable. The waiters were excellent.5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMUnique sweets comes trueSaw Norma on Unique Sweets. Decided to giveit a try. Great menu something for everyone5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMVery big portions! EnjoyedVery big portions! Enjoyed our brunch but only go if you are very hungry!5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMAnniversary brunchAmazing brunch! Our food was not only delicious but also artfully presented, just beautiful. The service was impeccable. I can't speak highly enough of our experience at Norma's.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMBreakfast in heavenHave to admit that we ate here twice on the same 5 day trip - first time had the scrambled egg pot stickers and eggs florentine - both divine. So flavorful, served hot, all sauces and accompaniments were perfect. Second visit had the berry waffles and quesidilla - waffle was perfect, eggs were so creamy. Can't imagine how they get it right every time! Would like to say "stay awy" because it's always so busy, but we made reservations both time, and both were honored within 5 minutes of the reserved time. Lovely waiter - natural, happy, charming, and helpful. You will not be disappointed!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMMy secret gemLove to bring people here for brunch. It's not too too well-known, so that I usually can get a table at short notice for brunch.
The food is always reliable, fresh and delicious.
I'll be back.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMOut of this world!I could eat here every day. All you need to know is, though it is certainly not cheap, the food tastes as good as it looks on the menu and on your plate--if not even better!!5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMUnique GemI had a business lunch at this restaurant. It wasn't well marked (nor was the hotel) but the food and service were great. The menu for lunch leaned heavily on breakfast items (they use the same menu for both, it seems) and the omelet I asked them to customize for me was one of the best I've had recently.5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMThis is a delightful spot.Even though it's the restaurant of the luxury hotel named "Le Parker Meridien", there are different type of group such as business people, tourists, family and so on and every people seemed to enjoy the meal and atomosphere.4/29/2013 12:00:00 AMArguably best brunch in the cityThis place is incredible. The dishes were stellar (brioche french toast, eggs benedict), and while we were waiting, there was even a nice bar/waiting area for us to stay and relax in. Service was excellent, food was amazing, and the only thing I'd say was a concern was the price - it's a little expensive, so I'd save a trip to this place for special occasions. If you can spend the money, full speed ahead. Enjoy!4/28/2013 12:00:00 AMOur waiter messed up our orderOur waiter messed up our order but comped us a lovely fruit plate.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMIt would be the perfect placeIt would be the perfect place if they served alcohol.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMI caught the end of a spotI caught the end of a spot on the cooking channel about the restaurant and knew I was coming into New York in a few days so I made a reservation. The food was excellent. I want to come back and try other things.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMHave been going there forHave been going there for over 15 years and it is still a wonderful experience and glad to see the same staff there!4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMBest Breakfast in New York CityWe always look forward to having breakfast at Norma's when we are in the city. I have recommended it to everyone that has visited Nyc. Love it, Love it !!!!4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMThe restaurant is quite noisy,The restaurant is quite noisy, with lots of business men, but the food was outstanding. Great spot for breakfast.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMBrunchy lunch in MidtownNorma was a life-saver because I was able to get a reservation for a group at the last moment in the otherwise crowded midtown lunchtime crush. Be aware that menu emphasizes brunch over lunch, but there are several diverse lunchtime options and the atmosphere is bright and welcoming. Most of all, the servings are PLENTIFUL. I ordered the smoked salmon Benedict, which was served with the smoked salmon on the side, so I was able to take home the extra salmon while finishing the perfectly poached eggs with delicious hollandaise. My guests were very happy with their galette and ample "tuna tuna" sandwich which the waiter suggested could be ordered with fries or a salad. A very pleasant lunch option that I will use again.4/24/2013 12:00:00 AMFabulous brunch / breakfast...Fabulous brunch / breakfast... I dream about the mixed berry risotto oatmeal! The fresh squeezed juices and smoothie leaved you full of energy and ready for the day ! Only constructive comment/level set of ecpectations- Consistently crowded, tables tightly situated, private conversations are not possible.4/23/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat brunch. Bring on theGreat brunch. Bring on the fresh sqeezed orange juice. Traditional breakfast fare with some of their own innovations. Large portions. How do they make any money?4/22/2013 12:00:00 AMWe found the food and theWe found the food and the service to be very good. The portion sizes were huge, and I'd suggest lowering the (high) prices a bit and reducing the amount of food on each plate.4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMExcept for the slow deliveryExcept for the slow delivery of food, it was very, very good.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMIt would have been nice toIt would have been nice to have some wine with lunch.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMNorma's may be best knownNorma's may be best known for its sweet foods (I had the waz-za, a waffle with fruit in the batter, fruit on top and fruit sauce, wow!). That said, its savory options are great as well (the cobb salad and bbq pulled pork hash & eggs both being notable). It's pricey, but fun for an off-beat business lunch or a treat for out-of-town guests.4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMNorma's is a NY standard.Norma's is a NY standard. Service is great, reservations absolutely necessary. BIG servings so be prepared for a meal. Fairly expensive, even by NY standards but worth at least one visit4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was excellent , serviceFood was excellent , service out standing. Great brunch, and wonderful to the children4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMMy third time eating at Norma'sMy third time eating at Norma's when I'm in New York City. I even purchased a gift certificate for my sister who visited in December for her 60th birthday. Overall everything was wonderful. The only gray spot was our waiter who wasn't very friendly and did not smile until he brought the check4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMYum!I am so glad I tried Norma's while I was in NYC. Many of my New York friends had sung its praises and told me that you have to go at least once. It did not disappoint. Expensive, yes. Delicious, oh yes! I had the crunchy french toast and my friend had the lemony fluff pancakes. Both we amazing.4/17/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat brunch fare at a greatGreat brunch fare at a great value. If you're a bargain hunter stick to food only! They could use bit more staffing to facilitate the volume but no way they can make money charging those prices with more staff. Delicious!4/15/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was great. But, ifThe food was great. But, if you book for brunch make sure to reserve early because you will be kicked out soon after 3 pm!4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMBEST BRUNCHWOW!!!! What a different Brunch menu. We go out several times a month for Brunch and the menu's are same old same old. How many different things can you do to eggs or pancakes? Guess what Norma's chef has taken dull and boring breakfast to a whole new level. I'm still dreaming about what we all ate. No more boring omletes for me. A must stop, on the BIG APPLE BREAFAST list. You will not be disappointed.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMA wonderful spot with amazingA wonderful spot with amazing food. The presentation of the table and the food is impeccable.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstanding brunchAmazing breakfast food. Be prepared to spend more on breakfast then you usually do4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMFun place, delicious food,Fun place, delicious food, great ambience. Food served a little cold (not perfect for eggs) and some prices were a bit extreme ($7 for coffee) but we loved the entire experience and will return!4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMNorma's is a bright idea for brunchSeeking a celebration Sunday brunch on an anniversary stay in NYC (not at Meridien), picked Norma's the night before and got a reservation thru OpenTable. This breakfast-lunch-only destination at the Parker Meridien was perfect for the purpose. Non-standard fare, endless fresh OJ and coffee, quick and attentive service, bright and accommodating to all comers. My meal was good -- included ingredients I should have passed up; my bad, not Norma's -- and spouse's was outstanding! It is NOT your dim and muffled high-end hotel breakfast spot. It's bright, active, quick, busy-busy-busy and pricey. That said, the value is there for food and service quality so the overall experience is outstanding. Reservations recommended.4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMMust do!Must do breakfast whilst in NYC. Family friendly. Don't go too mad on the amazing menu though, portions are typically USA sized. Amazing quesadillas, OJ constantly topped up for $9 is great value, kids loved the orange pancakes. Service was a slow but never mind, unforgettable.4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMEvery time I go, i love it.Every time I go, i love it.
