  • "This beautiful restaurant is located in the fantastic Ritz-Carlton/JW Marriott complex in Orlando. The atmosphere and ambiance are conducive to a culinary experience you will not forget. We checked in at the podium with the hostess and were immediately seated and greeted by our server for the evening. The menu and wine list are fantastic. The menu is limited but each choice is a culinary gem. We tried the fish and veal chop. Both dishes were exceptional, beautifully presented and vibrant in flavor. We tried a peach pastry for dessert which reminded my friend of the quality found in Vienna. Service is world class, with a team of servers taking care of you. The view overlooks the golf course, lots of greenery and water, cannot be beat!"

  • "From the valet to the host, servers, and renowned Chef, Norman's provided a 25th Anniversary Dinner that we will not forget. Very personalized, attentive, and exquisite! Greeted by name, personalized menus and desserts recognizing our special occasion, were just a few examples of this outstanding experience. The 6 course meal with wine pairing exceeded our expectation as it actually turned into an 8 course meal. Every bite was delicious and a full bouquet of flavors that were masterfully crafted. I also found it very rewarding that entire menu was not exclusively $60 beef items but a well rounded with several very well priced options. Dinner for 2 with a shared starter, salads, entrees, and wine was half of what I budgeted for and I would have felt satisfied had I paid more. I could not recommend Norman's any higher."

  • "I spent the weekend at the Ritz Carlton and had dinner at Norman's the first night. I had such a wonderful experience and meal that I returned the next night. Both nights I was surrounded by guests at other tables that eat there often which is a really good sign of how consistently good they are. My head waiter, David Hersey, was outstanding! He and the rest of the staff really took care of me. Everyone at Normans did a wonderful job and I will definitely return in a few months. I had the tasting menu the first night (loved every course and bite) and then the tuna, yellow tail snapper with the peach dessert the second night. Perfection! Thank you for one of the best dining experiences I've ever had."

Outstanding dishes - appetizers - like the green tomatoes, and the Ceviche . Fair - the grouper just was OK, Lamb was good, but did find the cumin a little over powering. Service is incredible. Atmosphere - great"

Every staff member we encountered was very personable and despite us letting them know we had to be through all of our courses in 55 minutes or less, we were assured it would be fine. We had to catch a plane and a delay in our meal would certainly mean missing it. We were assisted with wine pairing and given some excellent recommendations on starters to get us moving along. We had the Ceviche and Fried Green Tomatoes. The bread basket that arrived was probably the best I've ever tasted. Being Cuban/Argentinian, I was very familiar with the style of entrees and can say the Mofongo and Snapper entrees were cooked to perfection. Can't wait to visit again."

Entree portions are a good size for a hungry person. The Snapper entree is the house favorite and it really is excellent. Desserts are sized smaller, so if you have a sweet tooth and are sharing, consider ordering two. "

The views are so peaceful looking out to the lake. We had the Foi Gras, Veal, Seabass, among other delicious dishes. Will be back when in Orlando again. However, having been to Norman's in Coral Gables many times in the heyday of the Mango Gang this sole remaining outpost is just very good.   • "We were in Orlando for a few days with our kids for Mother's Day. We do not typically take them to nice restaurants as they are still young- 4 and 7. We decided to give it a try as we really wanted to try out Norman's. The staff was very accommodating of the kids. They had a kids menu and they even made them an ice cream sundae as that's what they really wanted. We had the Oysters, Caviar, Pork belly, Empenadas, Salad, Foie Gras and Steak. Everything was amazing! We'd recommend to everyone!"
