We introduced our friends from Salem and Portland, and they thoroughly enjoyed the Goan Curry, the Halibut cheeks, and my usual scallops, plus we all enjoyed the special roasted Asparagus salad with prosciutto and lemon vinaigrette dressing. Desserts we had were very satisfying also....coffee caramel crème brulee, vanilla pudding cake with strawberries, and lemon cake. Always worth the drive from Portland. We are never disappointed. This weekend's visit included a trio of scallops cooked to perfection, and fish tostadas featuring trout and a fresh salsa--creamy and delicious. Only small complaint was the stiff paper table cover overlapped the table edge so my jacket sleeve would often snag it and lift it 4" off the table when I brought my fork to my mouth. Small annoyance but results in 3 star Ambiance. Only drawback for regulars is that the menu does not change frequently enough.
