without a doubt, this was THE best burger I've ever eaten! And the truffle fries were perfect as well. I haven't stopped talking - and thinking - about it. The waiter was very pleasant and accommodating, no small feat waiting on 5 women all arriving at different times!

My boyfriend and I bought their Groupon out of curiosity, after seeing their rather interesting menu online. We were definitely not disappointed. The space itself is small--but what the restaurant lacks in ambiance, the staff makes up for in warmth and enthusiasm. Food-wise, we went for one of the punnily-named flatbreads and the fabulous Odysseus lamb burger. which both were flavorful and very filling. But what really stood out was the dessert. We asked for a slice of the Snicker cake, and were rewarded with a monstrosity of a four-layer yellow cake filled with sticky peanut butter and chocolate that was nothing short of decadent. All in all, it was a great experience that will keep us coming back to this friendly spot.

Went for a late lunch at about 3.00 PM. Asked for a taste of 2 different beers but we received 2 full glasses. Thankfully we liked the beer. Next we placed a food order. I chose the grilled chicken wings with lemon and rosemary to share. My guest ordered an appetizer - the eggplant parm as her entree and I ordered the salmon. The server delivered the chicken wings and eggplant parm and went back to the kitchen and brought out the fish. The server said guests preferred all the food served at the same time(!). Next, the wings were deep fried and did not resemble the discription in the menu. The other items we tried were equally disappointing. Overall, bad food and really BAD service means no return from us, and I mean NEVER!

The waiter and owners were very friendly and enthusiastic, but food was average. My fish was overcooked and rice was hard, my wife's ckicken dish was decent but nothing to rave about. Prices were high for what we got.

Tragically slow service and a menu that was better on paper than on the plate. It took an hour to have our appetizer (Boom Boom Shrimp) arrive, and it was totally lackluster. Another 30 minutes for entrees which were so bland we didn't even finish. The Mediterranean Chicken went home as leftovers for my dog. Dessert menu looked good, but we were so over the service and seeing staff fight in front of tables, that we just skipped out halfway after dinner arrived. We were unsure if they were a newer restaurant and overwhelmed by the holiday, but online reviews indicated they had been open for two years. I hope they get it together, they seemed to have a lot of potential.

Although hidden on a side street with subdued signage this was a great find. The food is prepared and presented beautifully. The flavors blended well and we enjoyed every bite. This was one of the best meals we've had locally. So glad we made a reservation because there was not an empty table all night.

...that is how we were greeted as soon as we entered the front door. The owners were friendly and always around to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of excellent! The dishes were fresh and generous in size and the dessert is so good. This restaurant is right off of Park Ave, hidden from a lot of the Winter Park traffic. A true hidden gem – go, you won’t regret it!

Weather wise it was a cold rainy day. Our waiter was great and food , hamburger/fries were outstanding. Has lots of competition but should succeed. Noise level choice was hard to choose as we were the only two there on this day

It's hard not to recommend a restaurant with outstanding food, which NOPA definitely has...interesting dishes and ingredients, delicious outcome. The problem is the service - not enough wait staff, although the one waiter for the entire place was trying very hard. But our order wasn't placed, at first, and the food was slow coming out of the kitchen - even the salad. How long does it take to put lettuce on a plate? Equally slow to clear and bring coffee. If really really slow service and really really good food is your thing, then NOPA is perfect.

Arrived on time for our reservation and were seated quickly. However, it was at least 15 minutes before anyone came to take a drink or food order. When our food arrived appetizers and entrees came at the same time for our other 2 table guests. Food presentation was nice and the meal tasted good. When the check arrived it had to be sent back twice for errors. Almost immediately after we settled the check one of the managers ask us to leave our table because the 9:00 pm reservation was waiting for our table. Never had that happen at any restaurant before.

We arrived and were greeted by the owner/server. She was pleasant. She took our drink order and then the server came to go over the menu. We ordered the shrimp appetizer which was over breaded and not that tasty. I had the Lemmon pepper Flounder and my friends ordered the flat bread. The flounder was ok, but nothing special and over salted. We had the server, owner, bartender assist with our table and I had to flag them to get a refill of wine. Overall it was ok, but could be so much more with refined service and better attention to the timing of food delivery and drinks.

Wine section and service was great. However, the food left a little more to be desired. Appetizers were on par only to lead to a disappointing entree. We opted for both fish selections. Each entree was plated on a bed boring whipped potatoes, creating a bland flavor of fish and starch. One of the fish entrees was over loaded with a berry compote muting any flavor of the fish. Overall, my recommendations are to stick with the apps and wine.

NOPA is Not On Park Avenue but still a great Winter Park experience. The first welcome by the staff was very nice, The food selection has a little bit of everything for a diverse group. We will make this one of our regular stops now that we ventured a few steps off of Park. The ownership has a passion that is appreciate. Make yourself at home and relax.
