The food was fabulous. Chief Paul came by to say hi to guests.I plan to go back for the holiday season. We had a great table at the window because we has reservations and arrived right at 5:30 pm. The food is served at a nice pace. Everything was plated to perfection. The atmosphere put us into the holiday spirit.

From the hostess to the wait staff to the food and the view, everything was perfection. The food was delicious and the menu a bit creative without being outrageous. Great selection of wines as well. Definitely need a window table to enjoy the view, absolutely recommended. Five stars.

I had scheduled a reservation back in September for my annerversary with my girlfriend in November, for which we had to wait an extra hour for them to seat us. However, the wait ontop of a reservation was the only annoying part as the food was amazing and the views were spectacular.

An outstanding dining experience. Recommended by a foodie friend who lived in Chicago for many years. We let them know when we made our reservation that it was our 30th anniversary. We were treated to a very special complimentary champagne and the best table in the house directly overlooking the Old Water Tower. The service, Food and Ambiance were as good as any you'll find in Chicago or anywhere else.

I took 7 people here for a new hire dinner. Food was great - the service - not so much. I frequent Nomi often and really have not had poor service in the past. We waited -- to the point where I had to ask for a server for drinks. Our server wore a grimace the entire time and frankly treated the team poorly. Great food, poor service, unexpected experience from a local favorite.

I love the food here & can't wait to come. They all "know me" at Nomi;) ha. Have my favorite servers & mgrs. This past visit I was dissapointed:( It's not like then as I usually leave very happy & it's my absolute fav place. Not to mention it was my b/day & they forgot. I'll call to speak to mgr!:( We always spend close to $200 on brunch as I have my favorites I always get at least 2-3 smoothies always(waiter knows my order since I'm a frequent customer & always get same) oysters, banana bread absolute best & 2 choc croissants. Noticed menu changed, but still amazing! Very sad it wasn't up to par like always!! Plus they forgot 1/2 of to go order!!:(

A trendy, hip, hotel setting that delivers a very good dining experience. NoMI has a somewhat limited but creative menu. The food is attractively presented by attentive servers. I love NoMI - we stayed at the Park Hyatt last week - so he'd a few breakfasts as well as 3 dinners... Kept going because it really offers consistently excellent food. Gave 4 stars on food vs 5 because the fruit and berries at breakfast each day were just so-so ( unripe melon, strawberries just past their prime).. But the homemade yoghurt was creamy, tart, and tasty.

The food was very good, the staff was generally attentive, but the kitchen was incredibly slow! We were there on a weeknight and it was not full, but it took 30 minutes to get a simple appetizer, then another 40! before dinner came out. The manager was exceptional and rewarded us with more wine and a nice dessert, which was a pleasant unsolicited surprise (and very good too), but if you're hungry or in a rush, be prepared to wait for a while. Probably a one-time place for me.

Girls' Night Out! Our weekend in Chicago included our scenic dinner here on Saturday night. Itv was awesome in all ways. At first we were disappointed with our table seating, which blocked the view by a big support wall. After we finished, we moved to a vacant table by the window and had another bottle of wine. Be sure to book early and to let the staff know if you have a special occasion. Great food. Great service.

Floating 7 floors above the Water Tower - with floor-to-ceiling windows - NoMI has my favorite view in Chicago. There are higher tables, but perched on the 7th floor you can people watch and see the lake... Service is professional and I feel special every time I eat there (which goes in waves since I don't live in Chicago). The menu changes seasonally ... but so far everything I've tried was worth the price. The sushi is an added plus (always the freshest, impeccably prepared).

I loved the feel of the restaurant. It was quiet but not too quiet. We had an amazing view of Michigan Av and Lake Michigan from our table. The waitstaff was very attentive but not overly so. They even put our valet on the bill so I could pay it there and they had the car waiting for us when we were finished eating. Very convenient, especially since we were in a hurry after our meal. The food was delicious! The tilefish was perfectly cooked and the NoMI Greens salad was perfect. Just the right amount of dressing and the vegetables were so fresh! The desserts were unbelievably good! We had 3 different kinds and loved all of them. I don't think you could go wrong with any of the desserts. We will definitely come back here!

I am so greatful to the manager/staff. We were celebrating my mothers 80th birthday and my sons engagement. We had a stunning view - a table in the back corner. I had made arragements for celebratory prosecco to be brought soon as we sat down for toasting. We ordered the Chateaubriand for two and the fish. the meal was excellent - the presentation couldn't have been better. I had arranged for dessert - I brought candles that spelled out Happy Birthday and Celebrate. It was a big surprise - each letter was in a small truffle, lit it made for a great ending to a memorable evening. The manager and staff did an excellent job implementing my surprise.

Took some out of town visitors to dinner at Nomi and was decidedly underwhelmed. For one thing the menu lacks cohesion. We all kept on reading and rereading it trying to get a sense of where we were food-wise. Our waiter was a bit of a snot, clearly unimpressed with our guest's level of sophistication and clearly condescending. He put together a sushi, sashimi platter for us for our first course as if it was a high honor. It was solid - not Tokyo solid - just solid as were the two fish entrees we tried. My husband and I shared the whole fish which was meant for two. it came with a lovely potato puree which could have been hotter and was barely enough for each of us to have a quarter of a cup serving.

Beautiful place located in the Hyatt off Michigan ave. outside seating is lovely. The food was a mix. Great apps, especially the beet salad, and great desserts, but the main course was so salty it was ridiculous. I hate sending food back so I forced most of it down, it being Tile fish, which was strange in texture. My girls pork chop was just as salty, but better quality. I told the waiter who surprisingly took it off our bill. Amazing gesture and we will return.
