Diner Reviews
  • "The food was good. The owner or nanager and waitress was presenting our bill after 45 minutes of us eating. We had at keast 8 people . We felt VERY RUSHED to leave. Not going back again.simply bc. Of the way they rushed us out and stood behind our table looking at us to leave..... not relaxing AT ALL.."

  • "We love Anika because the food and service are excellent. What else can you ask for? Oh ya, the price is right too!"

  • "Although it is advertized as All you can eat, myself and a friend chose to use the menu. The tofu was ok, the salmon very fishy, a huge amount of rice (overkill)."

  • "This was my second visit and I was disappointed. The first time I went, the restaurant had just opened and the food and service were great. Second time round, this was not the case. The waiter was impatient and arrogant and kept pressing us to make a decision. He also expressed his annoyance that we were not chosing the "all-you-can-eat" option. Throughout the entire meal, several different servers came to our table for one thing or another. It was a little frustrating. On the food side, our special requests (linked to dietary restrictions) were not respected which was hugely disappointing and unexpected. The food was OK but nothing spectacular. I doubt we will be going back."

  • "From their website there's nothing that indicates this place is non-Japanese owned, but it is. You'd enjoyed it if you are used to Chinese/Korean-Japanese I think. I just don't like how they cook things (without much flavor in the food itself and dependent on the tacky 'teriyaki' sauce...even on sushi!)."

  • "Noka was a great experience for us! We usually try much more 'well-known' restaurants when we come into the city, and trying Noka was very out of our comfort zones! Boy, was it a great thing we did! The food was amazing- I would definitely recommend starting with the hot-stone appetizer- it was very cool! And the sushi was to die for- very fresh and lots of new things to try. Service was average (there was a little bit of a language barrier) but overall, it was a great dinner, and we would definitely go back!"
