Noelle was quite refreshing after having had good experiences at Club 106 and Whitfield's before. Completely redone and the food was a smash. The pork tenderloin on polenta/kale was one of the best preparations that I have ever had. I went in with a preconceived notion of what it would be like and was very, very positively surprised. The service was very attentive and the overall experience was top notch for a late night dinner. Easily will recommend to my foodie friends.

Noelle's has become the favorite restaurant for my wife and I. Dewayne has done an outstanding job of creating a remarkable restaurant. The food is fabulous, the service is excellent and the ambiance is great! We just celebrated an anniversary there and I can think of no place I would have rather been!

This was our second wonderful experience at Noelle. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable & attentive, and make you feel welcome & taken care of from the moment you walk in. Our party was a variety of eaters and everyone was very happy with their meals. I'm vegan with a severe dairy allergy and didn't feel like I missed out on any course. The staff graciously adjusted my dishes and my main entree was a fresh creation. At many local restaurants they feel that an entree of random "sides" should suffice for the vegetarian/vegan option, but the chef at Noelle went out of his way to make sure I had a savory, delicious dish. A table favorite was the melon salad which was a fantastic combination of super ripe honeydew & spicy nasturtium leaves.

apps were good, but how can you mess up a cheese platter and it was odd the bread and butter was an appetizer therefore you had to pay for 2 rolls and 2 flavors of gourmet butter. salads fine. took a while for the entrees to come out. Tomato risotto with shrimp, shrimp was cooked perfectly but the rest of the dish tasted like rice in condensed tomato soup. the pork, so-so, the salmon, also so-so, and the short ribs were good. the desserts; creme brûlée and the peach crumble were good - creme brûlée was a light and airy type and was nice after a heavy meal. waiter was experienced and knowledgeable and he was right on. the parking is horrible-extremely tight, come in a Leaf or smaller or you back into one of their 100 balusters like we did.

You don't have to drive to East Nashville, or the Gulch or NashSoBroHoBroWeSoHo to have a fine dinner. Do not skip the cheese plate or the bread with compounded butters. Risotto was very good. Service is quite good, attentive and engaged but never haughty (which is becoming a problem in some places in Nashville, but that's the price you pay as you become a restaurant town). West Meade/Belle Meade is not known for supporting new places; listen people, give Noelle a try.

No specials - food or wine - and they charge for bread! Salmon and Scallop dishes were tasty and very good. Disappointed with ambience - more suited for lunch than dinner - cold atmosphere with no character. There are better value restaurants in close proximity.

My wife and I have been intending to go out for a special dinner for several weeks, and things kept getting in the way. I was uninspired on selecting a dinner location, but noticed Noelle popped up and gave it a try on total faith. It is a fantastic restaurant, both the food and the service were excellent. Cory, our waiter, was helpful and informative on food and wine recommendations. He also gave us a secret coupon that can be used anytime in August, and we are already planning my wife's birthday celebration there in a few more weeks. Classy place, and excellent food.

My friends raved about Noelle and insisted we go. I was surprised to see it was Whitfields. You must go but don't expect to feel any De ja vu for the past establishment. Noelle is a rebirth in that its a total new look and complete new menu. The small plates are perfect for late evening. I think we had them all along with some excellent wine. Our service was great ad the owner visited with us as well. I plant to be a frequent guest.

We did not love this restaurant and wanted to as it is in the neighborhood. Most of us had the roasted oysters which had too much vinegar and ham when lemon juice and black pepper would have been better. The steak was good as was the crème brulee. The beet salad was excellent but all in all it was too expensive for what we had. Our server was good.

I dined at Whitfield's many times, and was quite sad to hear that it was closing. But after visiting Noelle, I liked the atmosphere so much better! Stepping in is like a breath of fresh air. While the food was great at Whitfield's, often it felt a bit stuffy. Noelle has a whimsical but sophisticated vibe with a color palette that reminds me of the beach. The staff was very knowledgeable about food allergies (I had Dee Dee who was awesome!) as I have gluten intolerance and am a pescatarian. I had the scallops, which were pretty good. (I'm extremely picky when it comes to scallops). For dessert, I had the Chocolate Peanut Butter Terrine, which wasn't as sweet as I had expected it to be, but I think that made it even better.

Brought my Sister in Law to dinner here. She thought Noelle was an expensive restaurant to enjoy on special occasions. She loved the new décor and the fact the pricing allowed her to dine here on a weekly basis. Her comment was she couldn't wait to tell her friends. She also was excited to see that her favorite server from another restaurant (Nero's) - Dee Dee was working here! A bonus she said. I on the other hand will continue to tell my family and friends about this great restaurant that has shot to the top of my list as my favorite!

Rebranding a restaurant doesn't improve the food, but food quality was not my issue with Whitfield's. Quality of the staff and lack of owner concern about the dining experience was the reason we eliminated it from our short list. Our first experience at Noelle was enjoyable. If Brian is typical of the quality of the new staff, it definately has improved. Unfortunately, prices have increased even though the quality and portion size appear to have remained the same and several favorites have disappeared from the menu. However, the most prominent change is a $5 charge for bread and special butters. It was excellent, but there is no complimentary bread service available. If that continues on our next visit, it will be our last at Noelle.

Opening a "new" restaurant by the same owner by changing the name and adding more tables doesn't improve the quality of the food. The prices are higher ($5 bread service?!) and the food is still bad. Maybe a change of chiefs and buying fresher ingredients would have been a better place for the owners to have put their investment. It's too bad, Bellemeade doesn't have a great restaurant - there are certainly enough people in the neighborhood to support one. We'll be driving back to East Nashville.

We enjoyed the Small Plates (Warm Bread & Butter Board & Lamb Meatballs). Both were great and plenty to share. The steak was tasty. Scallops very flavorful. Duck Breast was under cooked. Lamb Chops - one was great and the other all fat and not edible. Baked Truffle Mac & Cheese out of this world.

We came here on a special occasion and we were sadly disappointed. The drinks (wine, cocktails) and appetizers (bread, lamb) were excellent but the entrees (scallops, trout) left something to be desired in taste, portion size and even appearance. The atmosphere seemed a lot more sterile than the warm, past, Whitfield's feel. Sadly, it seems the food lost it's way as well. I don't think we would return as there are a lot better upscale dining experiences in Nashville, and even in the same Bellevue/Belle Meade area.

We were anxious to try this new place in our hood and we'll be back. We didn't much care for the previous incarnation, but the menu and food are much improved. We started with the lamb meatballs, which are definitely made for sharing with 4 large pieces. They were quite tasty. Although the menu lists the steak as a Coulotte cut (inexpensive top sirloin) don't be fooled! It's actually spinals or the "cap of the rib eye," which is actually the very best cut of the animal. It was fantastic, tender, well marbled and cooked perfectly. I couldn't have been happier. We'll definitely frequent this new neighborhood establishment.

Scored big points with the in-laws for this dinner. Food is really good. We had beef tataki and salmon - both appetizers were delicious. Great wine list - had a bottle of Chimney Rock which is not usually on the menu most places. Our table shared each others plates - everything served looked amazing. The duck and trout were my favorites. This place is nice, looks great, clean and we had great service. Younger crowd, it was busy, bar was packed! Sad it was too cold that night for the patio but be back soon for an evening outside. Thanks for a great night. Looking forward to our next dinner out - coming back to try the steak and the lamb (table next to us ordered these entrees and said they were phenomenal). Can't wait to taste!

My friend and I are always looking for new restaurants to try, and this one was just what we were looking for! It has a fresh, simple look to it, with a well-stocked bar and an impressive wine list. It was honestly some of the best food I’ve ever had. I loved the unique dessert list! The owner walked up to our table, smiled, and asked how everything was. I greatly appreciated his presence. Plus it gave us a chance to ask him questions about the restaurant. Our waiter had extensive knowledge of the menu and the food was to die for! I’ll definitely be back!

It took forever for the food to come out, even though there were only a few people in the restaurant. When we asked why it was taking so long, the waitress said the people next to us were just getting their food and they came in before us, as if that explained anything. I ordered a salad, and entrée and a side. The side never came. When I asked about it, the waitress told me she didn't bring it because they were out of it. I also heard the same waitress tell the next table that they were out of something...after the people had ordered it and waited to receive it. When something on the menu isn't available, it's customary to tell the patron on the front end. Also, please don't ask how everything is five seconds after bringing the food.

I had heard about Noelle from one of my girlfriends, so I decided to check it out for myself on a date night. I received a welcome greeting from the hostess before being seated out on the gorgeous patio. The weather couldn't have been more perfect! Our waiter promptly came over to greet us and told us about their extensive wine list. I was quite impressed with the list actually! He brought out our drinks in a timely fashion then took our order. My husband and I shared the cheese plate as an appetizer, he ordered the duck breast, and I ordered the lamb chops. We could not have been happier! Fabulous presentation! Wonderful food, kind waitstaff, and remarkable overall ambiance. I would highly suggest Noelle to any of my friends!
