My wife and I have here on a number of occasions and have always enjoyed our evenings. The food is of excellent quality and well prepared. The wines are great also. We have brought friends here with us also and they have also enjoyed their evening as well and have even returned to the restaurant with us on several. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wants to have an excellent meal in a very quiet and scenic atmosphere.

We went early before a show at the Music Center. We parked at Disney Hall and then had a less than 10 minute walk to the restaurant. We started with the cocktail list which had some inspired drinks. We had a Moscow Mule and a Fig Old Fashioned. Then a delicious soup and salad. Followed by our entrees of duck and salmon, both done perfectly. Finished with the triple layer pudding which was big enough for two. The service was very good. Our waitress was very attentive but not intrusive. We were both very happy with our meal and the vibe here. We will definitely be back.

This and remains a really solid downtown restaurant. The menu is now a new fall menu and I must say the the chef is at the top of his game. The wine list is super and really a bargain considering the location.

We hadn't been at NOE in a while because the last time the food wasn't up to par. This time the food was extraordinary! Service and ambiance were excellent as always, we only had one hour to dine before the opera but we had plenty of time to eat appetizers and main courses and walk leisurely to the music center. I asked the servers if there was a new chef in the kitchen and they enthusiastically replied yes, that they were skeptical at first when he first came on board about 1 year ago but that when he presented his dishes they all were really impressed. Menu changes seasonally so we will be back for more in the near future.

Visited Noe for the first time for our Anniversary and was very pleased. They sat us at a nice table inside at first then moved us to the fire-pits outside (at our request, no questions asked). The food was excellent and they even gave us complimentary champaign to commemorate the occasion. The service was friendly, smart, and gracious and the atmosphere overall was great. You have to walk through the Omni itself to get there, but once in the restaurant you'd completely forget you were in a hotel.

We had a 5:00 PM dinner reservation. NO ONE was in the restaurant upon our arrival. We were finally seated about 5:25 PM after we were sold cocktails at the bar. Ummmm, we had theater plans immediatly after dinner...those 25 minutes were important to us. Get a grip.

We were looking for some place to visit with a good friend. The patio at Noe's is the perfect place to wine and dine with good conversation. The food was wonderful and the service was friendly with perfect timing. We look forward to returning to Noe's for another great meal!

Although the evening we ate at the restaurant there seemed to be many children in the restaurant, the overall experience was good. The staff was very good. Our meat was over-cooked, but still was delicious. We are not the types to send anything back, so the staff comped us for desert and extra glasses of wine. A little too noisy for the romantic evening we had hoped for, but we did enjoy the food.

We love Noe for dinner after a long drive from Nor Cal to So Cal. Food is always really good. The wait staff is generally really great. I put it down one notch this time as the waiter didn't listen to me when I said I wanted to drink my cocktail first before he poured the wine. He was talking instead and poured for everyone....so the wine became room temp before I got to drink it WITH dinner, like I said. Then he'd left a silver bucket next to table to keep the white wine chilled. After pouring for everyone, he placed the partially full wine bottle on the table...instead of in the chill bucket. Huh? Really distracted I guess.

A short walk takes one away from the crowds and into the quiet coolness of Noe. Service is friendly, if a tad slow and the food always borders on excellent. The shortribs and the scallops were particularly good this evening. Most seats inside have a view of the outdoor patio area, where food and drinks are also served. Unfortunately, smoking is also allowed which for some of us detracts from the otherwise pleasant aesthetics of this area. It's a scenic three block walk from the LA Music Center and two blocks from Disney hall. Well worth the stroll.

Food was delicious, glazed pork belly small plate was superb, hamburger was ok definitely filling, the bread rolls the bring out in the beginning are the best I've ever had hands down. service was pretty quick except when we asked for the check it took a little long (10 minutes). Very relaxing nice professional romantic vibe. The total experience and the quality of food along with nice customer service would definitely bring me back again and again. :)

We enjoyed dining on the quiet patio on a balmy summer evening. Service was friendly and accommodating, and food was delicious, from chilled pea soup or perfectly seared scallops as starters, through home-made ice cream desserts. The comfy piano bar lounge is good for meeting with friends before or after a performance at the Music Center.

I great hopes for the restaurant based on online reviews I read. The setting is great, as is the service. The food was okay and very costly. The dinner cost as much as the cost of our hotel room. We only had two glasses of wine, the rest was for just the salads and entre. Maybe we made the wrong choice (rib eye steak) and should have gone with the small plate suggestions. The service and looking out at the patio were the best things about the experience

Sat outside for a light dinner, seated on comfy couches and near a fire pit (these weren't on as it was over 90 outside!) Service was exceptional. Food could be ordered from the shorter bar menu or the full dinner menu. Neat view as we're seated amongst the tall, mirrored glass buildings & the MOCA building. Before a performance of the LA Phil., we dined at Noe and had a thoroughly delightful experience, with delicously prepared food, terrific service, and a good selection of wines. The menu options range from modestly priced choices to a few higher end items, but overall the Noe offers good value and an attractive venue. The bar also has a good menu for small dishes to accompany drinks. The calamari was perfectly prepared, tender with a very light crust. While the Noe is a perfect pre-theater selection, it is clearly more than a convenience and is worth enjoying on any occassion.

We stayed at the Omni, so visiting Noe was a no-brainier, due to its excellent reviews. I just returned from Paris and Holland where they have very good seafood and Noe beats them all. My wife and I had the scallops and salmon. Both dishes were cooked perfectly, both dishes were fresh and seasoned to perfection. The salmon was so tender that it felt like the food was melting in our mouths. This dish even beats the salmon that I have had in Seattle and Alaska! It was that good! Proximity to the Music Center makes it an ideal place to have dinner before a performance. The ambience was good and the decor could us a little updating, but once you taste the food nothing else matters.

One of the few places in downtown LA where people can meet for excellent food, creative vintage cocktails, and actual conversation -- not drummed out by blaring music, the clamor of plates or the chatter of fellow diners seated too close.
