Nobody does it better.The perfect meal almost everytime. We had Insalada de Mare and Soft Shell Crab. Followed by two pasta dishes and King Salmon. All were fresh and delicious. We tried the Arizona Restaurant Week Menu on this visit, not only was it great food it was excellent value for money. The choices were quite eclectic but NOCA's use of locally sourced ingredients ensures the highest quality dishes. However this was restaurant week in Phoenix. There was a special menu. The staff was very accommodating and the food and service was excellent especially for a leisurely Sunday evening meal. I always take my friends here for their birthdays because of the nice ambiance and wonderful food. The open kitchen is nice and creates it's own excitement. Our recent dinner here was fantastic. The seafood was very fresh and extremely well prepared. The mussels in the cioppino were the plumpest I've ever seen and the shrimp from the plancha were outstanding. Chef Claudio's pizza is such a treat. We did the tasting menu and tried many dishes that amazed us. One dish was a soft boiled fried and lightly breaded egg that was garnished with morel mushrooms shaved asparagus and prosciutto. I had the very best raviolo I've ever had here with an oozing egg and yummy brown butter and sage. We also had a lemon rosemary flat bread and more perfect pasta with lamb ragu and then a seafood dinner in a spicy tomato broth with the very best mussels ever! And next a long parade of desserts! Cotten candy, a nutella stuffed cake coated in chocolate that was yummy a blueberry tart and little bites of something chocolate that was yummy and very light.
