Nobu Next DoorA gourmet japanese foodUndescripatible experience.
The "chef menu" is excelent to discover new sensations.5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMFantastic service and terrificFantastic service and terrific food as always with Nobu5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMSame as Nobu, no reservations req'dHave been to Nobu a few times but tried Nobu Next Door when it was booked on a Friday. Food was just as amazing. Menu looked very similar.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food and services. DisregardGreat food and services. Disregard any negative comments, you can't satisfy everyone.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMservice was great, food wasservice was great, food was delicious, of course, and the energy in the room was great. not too quiet, not too loud, just right. thank you, nobu next door!4/10/2013 12:00:00 AMFirst time in Nobu Next doorextraordinary world class dining with great service and ambiente3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMEat the yellowtail skip the eel.Yellow tail with jalapeño was GREAT. Tuna and spicy tuna were good. Eel and avocado hand roll was surprisingly bad (shocking for me, as this is the easiest 'sushi' to do well. The mushroom soup also tasted great and is hard to find elsewhere.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMLoved the food! This place is outstanding! The food is wonderful and selection is fantastic! There pre fix menu is greatly priced. The regular menu is also affordable! Worth the trip!3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was excellent, waiterFood was excellent, waiter was very nice--we had to call him over to order more food. He was not particularly helpful with regard to quantity of food to order. Did not feel the restaurant was as clean as it could be, had a feeling of needing an uplift.3/11/2013 12:00:00 AMLess snobish than NOBU 2 doors leftit's funny to compare NOBU restaurants all around the world - you always getting the same best quality. NOBU NEXT DOOR is deffinetely less snobish than his older brpther NOBU settled 2 doors to the left.
As everywhere in NOBU restaurants worldwide the BLACK COD is chef speciality! The sake served in MASE was a surprise! That's a pity they don't serve unfiltered sake by portions - only a bottle of 0,5 litres which is too big for 1 person.
And the most pleasant thing about New-York NOBU is the price! It's double less than in London!1/1/2013 12:00:00 AM
