The menu features Chef Nobu Matsuhisa’s signature dishes, such as the Black Cod Miso and Rock Shrimp Tempura, as well as unique Miami favorites like the Lobster 'Risotto' and Oysters and Sea Urchin New Style.   • "We visited Nobu some years ago and had good experience, so we went back again. However, portion got smaller and dishes are more overpriced. We are disappointed by declining of taste and of curtesy of dishes. For example, chef's selection should come with best ingredients, but key element was missing; some of the dishes has misleading name. "Hiyashichuka" supposed to come with specific chuka noodles, but it was made of somen and with strange taste. Should change the name of the dish."

The surroundings were rather a disappointment though. I think i was expecting something chic & refined, so was suprised to find the decoration as textured wood & turquoise tiled combo; the effect being somewhat 'garish'; certainly not with the finesse i had been expecting. Our server was not forthcoming with information on the menu. Having dined in high end restaurAnts throughout miami we had been introduced to the menu and dining style immediately. This was not done. He was very informed however, once we had asked questions. Overall a good experience and we would return/recommend. "

  • "The restaurant is at the Shore Club, so from the outside it looks a little dated, but once you come in, the place is really charming. When we walked in at 7:15, there were just a few people, but by 7:45 the place was packed. The service was impeccable. Our waiter was not only helpful, but so accomodating we felt like royalty. On top of that, there were at least 6 people walking around the restaurant just looking around to refill water glasses, clean your table and pour wine. Loved it! The food was delicious but the portions were too small. The sushi rolls were tiny but amazing. The Sashimi salad, greens with a few pieces of salmon was definitely overpriced at $36.00. Still, I thoroughly enjoyed the food, the ambiance and the location. "

This Nobu is located in a very trendy hotel as the walk to the restaurant was ordained in a very eclectic atmosphere. Food was great and the miso sauce is amazing.
