Best Restaurants in Hard Rock Hotel
I felt it was overpriced....there
are by far better restaurants in LasVegas for the money. For 2 people, the chef's selection which is a taste of a bit of everything is $100 a person. We do not drink so I can only imagine how expensive it would have been if alcohol was included!!! Yikes! The reason we dined at Nobu's we were going to a concert at the Hard Rock. Been there, done that."

Took my friend for her birthday
and it was wonderful the tasting menu was amazing"
Dined on 7/25/2014
Purchase groupon deal for 2.
Quality of food is very poor. Portion was small, not worth money at all. Very disappointed w this restaurant used to be Michelin star restaurant."
Dined on 7/25/2014
I took my boyfriend here for his
30th birthday and it was hands down one of the best meals we've ever had. The food was amazing and the staff made you feel right at home!"
Dined on 7/24/2014
I have dined at this location many
times and have always had a fabulous experience. The food is phenomenal and you will not find better service anywhere. A big thanks to Bijan for all the wonderful menu suggestions!"
Dined on 7/20/2014
The edamame was a little too under
cook for me. The sliced hamachi with jalepeno was really good, fresh & excellent quality like their nigiri assortment platter for the signature tasting menu. The creamy rock shrimp was good on top of the arugula. The miso glazed black cod was soft and melted like butter. The cappuccino with whiskey foam on top was a good dessert to end the course."
Dined on 7/19/2014
We were seated in the lounge area
because I accidentally made the reservation for the night before. It turned out to be a great experience. The lounge was relaxing and very cozy. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and I saw the Groupon and have always wanted to try Nobu. I was afraid that we would be treated differently with the Groupon but everyone from the hostess to the manager to the wait staff was extremely warm and friendly. We ordered a few cocktails and ordered an additional course to add to the Groupon pre-set menu. Everything was delicious. We will be back!"
Dined on 7/18/2014
I found a groupon for $95 for 2
people for the signature tasting menu, and while I was embarrassed to go to dinner there with a groupon, that feeling quickly went away when the manager scanned my phone for the groupon, and the waitstaff new exactly how to handle it...come to find out, mostly everyone else was using a groupon too. The food is to die for b/w the jalepeno yellowtail, shrimp tempura, and miso cod, this chef has ruined me for all future sushi excursions! the waiter recommended a crisp white wine that pairs beautifully with the menu, and it was delish! We finished with a phenomenal dessert that I won't give away, but well worth the wait! Adore this place.. much more chill than the caesars palace location!"
Dined on 7/17/2014
We used a groupon for a tasting
menu and while the food was very good, it was nothing remarkable. Of note, however, was the black cod and the dessert trio. Both were outstanding. Service was very good and loved the ambience."
Dined on 7/17/2014
Tasting menu choice was very
creative and delicious, especially tempura salad."
Dined on 7/16/2014
Food, service, quality... all
excellent! Highly recommend!"
Dined on 7/15/2014
Both the food quality and service
are superb, but it is sorely lacking in ambiance. The music blares, nothing in the restaurant absorbs any noise, it has a frantic atmosphere. We expected it to be expensive which it is but were surprised at the reasonable cost of beers and tea. Not sure if we would return as there are many other high end sushi bars in Las Vegas that do not subject people to all this noise."
Dined on 7/12/2014
I truly enjoyed Nobu I will visit
again. I visited from Houston and they exceeded my expectations"
Dined on 7/9/2014
While the ambiance is perfect for
a date night, be prepared to spend a lot of money for a little bit of food. We decided to order just sushi as we did not want to spend $125/person for the chef's tasting menu...which they push as something "most other diners do." The sushi cuts were fresh, but very small for the price you pay. Service was excellent, and we never had to ask for anything extra. Overall, I would say this was a one and done for us due to the cost."
Dined on 7/6/2014
Fan of Nobu Matshuhisa's various
properties and the Hard Rock location is no exception. Finally had an opportunity to have true Japanese A5 Wagyu and it was amazing. Nothing more to be said. Special mention to Misty for exceptional service."
Dined on 7/5/2014
Most high end restaurants in Las
Vegas are a poor imitation of their originals. Nobu is an exception. The food was spectacular, creative, fresh, beautiful. Our server could not have been more gracious and knowledgeable. All in all, it was a wonderful and romantic evening. I'll go to Michael Mina in San Francisco, Bouchon in Napa and Emerils in New Orleans and not waste my time and money on the Vegas version of these. Nobu, will always be a must."
Dined on 7/4/2014
It was pricey enough that we
probably won't be regulars, but we will recommend it to others to try for sure. The recommendations by the chef were excellent and the service was very nice."
Dined on 7/3/2014
We had the highest expectations
yet they were surpassed. Our waitress offered us options: order from the menu, go through the 8-course option of signature dishes or for us to name a price point and answer a few of her questions so that she could customize the meal for us. Every item was great! We were full but not bloated (a common event when I dine in Vegas). I recommend the customized meal option. I never realized how great it was not to have to choose an item or too off the menu: the pressure is off! We were never rushed but soon after we finished each course, one person would clear, another would tidy up as needed and the next course would be on its way to us. the waitress checked in after every course but not in an intrusive way."
Dined on 6/29/2014
Wagyu beef, tuna belly -
melt-in-your-mouth utterly fantastic. Excellent sushi/sashimi; fresh and perfectly cut. Service was outstanding!"
Dined on 6/28/2014
All Nobu's are good, but this one
is always one of the best!! Ditch the menu and tell them to just bring you their favorite dishes. Dinners are expensive but worth every $100 (I'd say penny but I did say expensive)."
Dined on 6/26/2014
The food was excellent; totally
fresh and imaginatively prepared. The service was the highlight for me: knowledgable, friendly and efficient. It was very expensive, but you already know that, right? It was EXTREMELY noisy; more like a bar than a restaurant. Demographic skews younger. I have been told that there is another Nobu in Caesar's Palace which is much quieter. Our party of four did have a great meal and a good dining experience, however."
Dined on 6/25/2014
I wish I could give them more than
5 stars. Went with a friend and we asked our waiter for suggestions. Everything he mentioned was a hit. Highly recommend!! I will be going back."
Dined on 6/22/2014
The waitress recommended a few
favourite dishes and they were all so delicious. The sashimi dishes were fresh, had a special taste with the added sauces. The sashimi is so fresh it melted in my mouth. The miso black cod was also very tasty. The only downside would be the portions - each dish is quite small but good for 2 people. It's great if you have a few people, you can share multiple dishes and try different things. The atmosphere of this restaurant is fantastic. It is quiet with dark ambience. The service was excellent."
Dined on 6/21/2014
We had the Chef's Selection. Just
tell your server what you like, dislike and the price range you want to stay within. They will then bring out many different, beautiful selections one at a time. Then tell them when you are full and they will stop. The service and hospitality was impecible. As soon as your plate was empty, they replaced it with a new clean plate. As soon as you took a few sips of water, your water glass was re-filled. We were able to try many different interesting things that would never be available in our home town or available at any regular Sushi restuarant. I was amazed at how many things I didn't think I would like, that were just faboulous."
Dined on 6/20/2014
I'm curious if the Nobu at Ceasers
is the preferred Nobu nowadays because the restaurant was only half full on a Friday night. Maybe people try to avoid all the drunk young kids at Hard Rock and prefer better crowd at Ceasers Palace. Just a thought. Food and service was superb as always though. But $$$$$."
Dined on 6/20/2014
This was my fourth time at this
Nobu location. It is so far above the other locations, including the new one at Caesars, that it warrants any means necessary to be the primary choice for exceptional sushi in the Las Vegas area. Chef Yasu san will take exemplary care of your sushi needs. The quality of fish, in my experience, is unmatched. There are enough positive descriptors for me to fully explain how much I enjoy this restaurant. It is expensive and, from my perspective, worth every penny."
Dined on 6/20/2014
I have been going to this location
for 6 years. It never disappoints. Love the yellowtail sashimi with jalapeño and the lobster taco."
Dined on 6/18/2014
Nobu's is a must-try at least once
in a lifetime. It is a fusion of haute cuisine with an Asian sensibility focusing on super fresh ingredients ingeniously prepared and presented. One doesn't go to Nobu's to "fill up" but to explore different tastes and gustatory sensations that perhaps have not been awakened, yet. I would recommend for newbies the Signature prix fixe menu which gives you a good idea of what this restaurant (and the concomitant hype) is all about. Needless to say, the wait staff is superbly trained and patient."
Dined on 6/15/2014
This place was absolutely
incredible, the prices are a bit high for some things but you're totally getting your money's worth out of every bite!"
Dined on 6/14/2014
This is the way to go! We had a
group of 6 and the chef took care of everything; there was not a "least favorite" of the night!"
Dined on 6/11/2014
My husband and I have visited Nobu
on just a few occasions, but this time we opted for the Chef's Tasting. I highly recommend this as it is the best way to go! We were able to try dishes we normally wouldn't order and everything was so delicious. There wasn't anything we didn't like. We especially liked how the wait staff worked together and the entire experience is well orchestrated by them."
Dined on 6/7/2014
I have been in a lot of Nubo
branches; Mexico, New York, Dubai, London and more but this one was my second best after the one in Mexico and the price is too much comparing to the rest."
Dined on 6/4/2014
We could not have been more
satisfied with our experience. The food was amazing and the service spectacular."
Dined on 6/2/2014
Stopped in for a late dinner
before the Guns N Roses concert. As always, the food was perfection, as was the service! Crispy rice and tuna is such fun, sushi rolls were amazing, sea bass was sublime. Servers gave great suggestions on the food. If you don't know what to order, just tell your server how much you want to spend and they will bring your meal and select cocktail and wine pairings as well. Makes dinner an adventure! The only complaint I have was that there was a table about five feet away full of loud, drunk, obnoxious women. They were so loud that it was hard to engage in dinner conversation. Then, at the end of the meal, I noticed they made the server give each one a separate check...stay classy ladies!"

Stayed at Hard Rock hotel 4
nights And ate at Nobu 4 times for dinner. That says it all..."
Dined on 5/26/2014
Food was great as always but we
were disappointed that management did not try to control the drunk person sitting next to our table so we had to rush through dinner to get out of there."
Dined on 5/25/2014
The food was great and the service
was excellent. We were not sure what to have so the waiter made a selection for us based on our taste. It was fantastic!"
Dined on 5/21/2014
"Omakase in a plastic wrap" made
by robot-like part-time looking food makers in an industrialized open kitchen. "
Dined on 5/21/2014
Nobu is the site of an annual
convention dinner we host; its a reliable meal of great, imaginative food and cocktails... always a good time."
Dined on 5/19/2014
Food and service are both 5
star Expect to spend $300 and be worth every penny "
