Diner Reviews
  • "Wonderful experience at Nobu. Our waiter was very attentive and gave great sake and wine recommendations. We had the 8 course tasting menu which was absolutely fantastic - especially the yellowtail jalepeno at the start!"

  • "Good food, good service, celebrities, good looking people, so fun - action place for that kind of thing. I went with wife to visit old friend, to talk. Not best place b/c it's noisy, happening. Crowded and okay decor."

  • "We always try to hit one 'popular' restaurant in Vegas when we pass through. Nobu was up on this trip. The cocktails are amazing, the staff is all extremely knowledgeable, and the food is great. The only negative is, if you are eating on a Travel Zoo coupon, expect a slight cold shoulder from your server (or at least the one that we had). All in all, I would recommend this restaurant. Try the live scallop dish!"

  • "Came here to use the travelzoo promotion. 8 courses for 2 people for $150, not bad at all. First time at Nobu for me. All the courses were beautiful and noteworthy, particularily the yellowtail jalapeño sashimi, the mini beef tacos, the black miso cod, and the donut hole-esque dessert. Service was prompt and everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable, from the hosts to the backwaiters. Some of the courses felt rushed, and one was even brought out while we were still enjoying the previous course. These things, however minor, should not occur at a michelin-starred establishment. Mistakes happen though, no big deal. It was a pleasure to meet the manager as well. Good to know there's a high quality chain restaurant that I can find worldwide. I will absolutely return again soon! Maybe Matsuhisa in Vail will have that divine yellowtail!"

  • "I told the waiter up front that we had a mixed lot of people who were into sushi in varying degrees. There was no attempt to accommodate with suggestions of what and how to order. Instead, we had a know it all for a waiter who succeeded in making the meal a disaster. Never again would I go to this particular Nobu. Have been to others in LV and other cities (Dallas and NYC) and have had positive experiences. Far from it here."

  • "Nobu is the best for Asian Fusion. Not all sushi, but the sushi is amazing! And the main courses are crazy delicious! Pricey, but worth every penny!"
    Dined on 11/14/2014
  • "But our bill was $360 for two people without a bottle of wine. Drink - wise, we had one small saki and two glasses of Chardonnay and we don't know how the meal could run that high. The ambience is too basic and plain.. But the service and food were great."
    Dined on 11/13/2014
  • "The whole Nobu process is entertaining. Allowing them to pick your mixture of food is a nice new thing to try. However, you should be ready to drop about $100 / person in order to eat anything substantial. To me the food didn't measure up to the price tag, but was a fun experience."

  • "Best sushi we have ever had. Incredible sake list. Really unusual sushi with great classics. The presentation was interesting and the taste unique."
    Dined on 11/12/2014
  • "The restaurant is nicely decorated, our food was lovely and the server, very professional and friendly. It did get a little loud due to larger groups, we would've prefered a quieter romantic position so we could speak at a normal level. Would recommend, as the food is great!!"

  • "My wife and I currently live in Las Vegas and had some friends visit. We took the opportunity to go to Nobu. The quality of the meal was outstanding. We all ordered sushi and it could not have been better. We ordered mutliple spicy tuna rolls, shrimp tempura, uni sushi, and ikura sushi. We also had a toro dish and scallop tiradito that were incredible. The drinks were as expected and very refreshing. This is a highly recommended location."

  • "A truly excellent meal. We left our menu in the hands of our server who crafted a fantastic menu for us including delicious sashimi plates, lobster with noodles, and wagyu beef. It was definitely expensive (we didn't give him any restrictions), but well worth it. Everything was so fresh, beautifully constructed, and perfectly portioned."

  • "We could find no fault whatsoever with the food or service but a meal for two that came in over $500 blew our minds..."
    Dined on 11/6/2014
  • "Overall I really liked Nobu but I think the sushi I get at my local Japanese restaurant is as good or better, especially when you consider the price. If you must visit a Nobu location to be "one of the crowd" then by all means do it. Way, way , way overpriced but is it worth it?"

  • "First, food was amazing but... Pricy is one thing but acceptable if ambiance, décor and most important comfort is there, but it's not. We were four people and tables are made very small. They serve dishes to be put in the center of the table but if you add four glasses of wines, four glasses of water, the bottle of wine and the bottle of water, it becomes a Cirque du Soleil act. Sorry but would not recommend due to price, decor and mostly comfort."

  • "I've been to Nobu in NYC, London - this location in Las Vegas at the Hard Rock just doesn't match the experience at the other locations - even the food wasn't as "oh wow" as the others (but still the same was delicious). The service seemed distracted (we had a server-in-training). I'd definitely go back again as a Nobu loyalist, but I'd like to see this location get a little bit of "corporate" attention from the Nobu master himself."

  • "Have been going to nobu NY for years but first time here.food was fabulous in fact better than that. The butter poached lobster with white truffles was simply amazing. Would absolutely return and recommend."

  • "Another awesome dinner at Nobu. We are unable to get a reservation at Caesars so went to Hard Rock. Food as usual was incredible with great attentive service. Restaurant was less than a third full. I wonder how the new Nobu will affect this location over time. Will definitely be back when we return to Vegas."

  • "My husband and I went here for the first time and we both had a great experience. We both ordered Nobu 10 courses included dessert and all those 10 courses were excellent. You get to have a variety of taste from hot to cold. The portions are small, but I got full after the 7 dish. Also, the drinks here are good, but I just forgot the name. The services are friendly and helpful."

  • "Continues to exceed expectations...food service ambience second to none"
    Dined on 10/5/2014
  • "The Food was great. The tables were very close to one another so you can hear everything the group next to you is saying. The drinks were good but extremely over priced. Over all though it was a great dinner after a show."
    Dined on 10/4/2014
  • "You must eat here at least once and have the Tuna Carpaccio"
    Dined on 10/4/2014
  • "We add a great night. The only drawback was the sound level. The food and service was really exceptionnal. Would go back any time."

  • "Nobu was recommended by a friend and this was a fabulous place to dine. We had a party of 8, which was nice to share in all the dishes suggested by the wait staff. He just wanted any dislikes and or allergies. Also, how much you want to spend per person and off he went to the chef to surprise us with wonderful dishes. The food was presented well and tasty. Would go back but make sure you bring enough cash or up your credit limit on your credit card. It's not a cheap restaurant."

  • "Food at Nobu is beyond compare. The Japanese whiskey flight was a highlight. We found service to be tardy from our main server but the bus staff was spot on. Dinner, without dessert, took more than two hours to complete in a restaurant that was half full at best."

  • "We had a couple specialized cocktails that were very good. We also had a five course meal and every course was amazing! It was a bit pricey but we will definitely return."

  • "From start to finish, the God and service were to notch"

  • "Excellent food. The problem with Nobu is that the portion sizes are quite smaill and the prices are sky high!"
    Dined on 9/19/2014
  • "But being surpassed by better imitators. There are plenty of places doing the Black Miso Cod and Jalapeno Yellowtail Sashimi these days and doing it as good or better for the same price or less. I find that Nobu is resting on their laurels a bit. Service was excellent and the food was still very good. Just not keeping ahead of the herd."
    Dined on 9/19/2014
  • "The food was excellent and the service was impeccable. Great options and combination of flavors a must go. Our waiter Dan was very professional and knowledgeable."

  • "Like usual, Nobu never disappoints. Tell the server what you like and they will take you on a great journey! Have faith in the system...it works. Service...absolutely perfect."

  • "This place may be off the Strip but it is 100% worth venturing to. Our waiter was beyond amazing, knowledgeable, nice, attentive, everything you could ask for in service. We even had a groupon tasting menu and even the cheaper price didn't stop the great service and amazing food. I will definitely be going back next time I'm in Vegas."
    Dined on 9/6/2014
  • "We used the groupon that came with their signature dishes, rock shrimp tempura, sushi, miso black cod, yellowtail. All the best food I have tasted in a long time. You will not be disappointed. Service was impeccable. Everyone is very polite."
