We decided to order just sushi as we did not want to spend $125/person for the chef's tasting menu...which they push as something "most other diners do." The sushi cuts were fresh, but very small for the price you pay. Service was excellent, and we never had to ask for anything extra. Overall, I would say this was a one and done for us due to the cost."

  • "Most high end restaurants in Las Vegas are a poor imitation of their originals. Nobu is an exception. The food was spectacular, creative, fresh, beautiful. Our server could not have been more gracious and knowledgeable. All in all, it was a wonderful and romantic evening. I'll go to Michael Mina in San Francisco, Bouchon in Napa and Emerils in New Orleans and not waste my time and money on the Vegas version of these. Nobu, will always be a must."

  • "We had the highest expectations yet they were surpassed. Our waitress offered us options: order from the menu, go through the 8-course option of signature dishes or for us to name a price point and answer a few of her questions so that she could customize the meal for us. Every item was great! We were full but not bloated (a common event when I dine in Vegas). I recommend the customized meal option. I never realized how great it was not to have to choose an item or too off the menu: the pressure is off! We were never rushed but soon after we finished each course, one person would clear, another would tidy up as needed and the next course would be on its way to us. the waitress checked in after every course but not in an intrusive way."

  • "The waitress recommended a few favourite dishes and they were all so delicious. The sashimi dishes were fresh, had a special taste with the added sauces. The sashimi is so fresh it melted in my mouth. The miso black cod was also very tasty. The only downside would be the portions - each dish is quite small but good for 2 people. It's great if you have a few people, you can share multiple dishes and try different things. The atmosphere of this restaurant is fantastic. It is quiet with dark ambience. The service was excellent."

It was very expensive, but you already know that, right? It was EXTREMELY noisy; more like a bar than a restaurant. Demographic skews younger. I have been told that there is another Nobu in Caesar's Palace which is much quieter. Our party of four did have a great meal and a good dining experience, however."

  • "We had the Chef's Selection. Just tell your server what you like, dislike and the price range you want to stay within. They will then bring out many different, beautiful selections one at a time. Then tell them when you are full and they will stop. The service and hospitality was impecible. As soon as your plate was empty, they replaced it with a new clean plate. As soon as you took a few sips of water, your water glass was re-filled. We were able to try many different interesting things that would never be available in our home town or available at any regular Sushi restuarant. I was amazed at how many things I didn't think I would like, that were just faboulous."

It is so far above the other locations, including the new one at Caesars, that it warrants any means necessary to be the primary choice for exceptional sushi in the Las Vegas area. Chef Yasu san will take exemplary care of your sushi needs. The quality of fish, in my experience, is unmatched. There are enough positive descriptors for me to fully explain how much I enjoy this restaurant. It is expensive and, from my perspective, worth every penny."

Maybe people try to avoid all the drunk young kids at Hard Rock and prefer better crowd at Ceasers Palace. Just a thought. Food and service was superb as always though. But $$$$$."

  • "Nobu's is a must-try at least once in a lifetime. It is a fusion of haute cuisine with an Asian sensibility focusing on super fresh ingredients ingeniously prepared and presented. One doesn't go to Nobu's to "fill up" but to explore different tastes and gustatory sensations that perhaps have not been awakened, yet. I would recommend for newbies the Signature prix fixe menu which gives you a good idea of what this restaurant (and the concomitant hype) is all about. Needless to say, the wait staff is superbly trained and patient."

We were able to try dishes we normally wouldn't order and everything was so delicious. There wasn't anything we didn't like.   • "Stopped in for a late dinner before the Guns N Roses concert. As always, the food was perfection, as was the service! Crispy rice and tuna is such fun, sushi rolls were amazing, sea bass was sublime. Servers gave great suggestions on the food. If you don't know what to order, just tell your server how much you want to spend and they will bring your meal and select cocktail and wine pairings as well. Makes dinner an adventure! The only complaint I have was that there was a table about five feet away full of loud, drunk, obnoxious women. They were so loud that it was hard to engage in dinner conversation. Then, at the end of the meal, I noticed they made the server give each one a separate check...stay classy ladies!"

It was an 8-course feast showcasing their best, and each dish was better than the last. The meal included tuna tartare with sevruga caviar in a soy wasabi broth, Wagyu beef carpaccio with sesame seeds, two types of tacos: broiled sea bass & ceviche, yellowtail belly sashimi with jalapeño, black cod marinated in miso (we wanted to lick the plate!), wonderful sushi, and unexpectedly delicious uni, and to top it all off, tasty berries over shaved ice made from coconut water, two fruit syrups, red bean ice cream. We were not rushed, nor did we feel overly stuffed. It was perfect."

  • "I truly do love Nobu and have eaten at just about all locations. This was my first time here and it didn't disappoint. I also brought two friends who have never been and they LOVED it! We had yellowtail shashimi w jalapeño, mixed seafood ceviche, seabass tacos (which was a special), miso cod in buttercup lettuce, rock shrimp tempura w creamy spice sauce and the squid pasta. Everything was DELICIOUS!!! Highly recommend "

  • "Too bad such a great restaurant, with such a wonderful menu and wine list, with such knowledgeable servers, has to stoop down to the Vegas norm and play repetitive EDM music so loud.... One would think for a $700+ bill (for 3), that we could have a normal conversation without having to lean across our table yelling to be heard. Lest you think we are 'too old' or something, we are all performers on the strip and are well versed in Vegas culture. Oh well. Would much rather spend half that amount @ Vintner Grill and be able to talk."

  • "The wife and I love Nobu. We are novice sushi eaters, but the wait staff the two times we have been here are ultra helpful at helping to pick great menu items. It is an intimidating place the first time, but we were far more comfortable the 2nd time. We had a couple of rolls and a ton of sashimi and all of it was unbelievable good. We ended up very satisfied with the price also as it's hard to gage how much you are spending when ordering multiple times throughout our meal. Will go back here every time we are in Vegas. As a side note, we were disappointed in the Hard Rock Hotel/Casino though. "
