First time visit, service was poor, server kept forgetting the drinks then the food failed to arrive at the table for everyone at the same time so one person was left waiting and they got there food after everyone was finished. Do not expect this type of service from a 'highly' rated restaurant. Portions are abysmal for the price, the servers do not even advise that u may need sides for a complete meal...it's laughable, left the restaurant feeling in satisfied. It's overrated, nothing special... Disappointing experience.do to waste your time and money...

We had a reservation for 12. They put us at a table that was hard pressed with 11. Our 12 person showed up an there was simply no way he could fit. The manager was argumentative very unprofessional. We offered for part of the group to move to another smaller table. He was downright rude. The food was good not awesome though. We might try it again with a smaller group, but not sure how many people would go back.

I came with a coworker on an international trip. The food is very delicious, especially the chocolate miso cappiccino. However, don't sit beside the kitchen, there was some strange smell coming out of it(I think it is a special source). Everything else is just perfect. A lot of couples there, it was romantic and very impressive. Will definitely come back to visit soon.

This was the first visit to Nobu for two in the group. One had dined in the Monte Carlo location earlier in the year and loved it. We had made the reservations for Restaurant Week. We arrived a few minutes early but we were seated immediately, which was nice. Initially the waiter brought the regular menu and we glanced at that. The prices are high. We had to ask for the Restaurant Week menu, and when we did he seemed put off by that. The food was good, but the portions were so small for the price. The food definitely was not up to par for the price. The ambience of the restaurant is nothing special. Needless to say, I seriously doubt we will ever return, nor will I recommend to others.

We tried Nobu Dallas during Dallas Restaurant week. We were disappointed with food selection and the taste/quality. Service was not exceptional as well. It was just the kind of service you would get at any lower to mid end restaurant. It just was not "Wow, this is Nobu" experience. I do understand that you had limited option for dish selection for restaurant week to fit the cost, however, just remember there are customers who decides to come or not after this "tasting". Price usually does not matter to us when the food is worth it but after tasting their restaurant week menu, it is just not worth it to return.

Vickie was my server and she was phenomenal. Sweet , funny, and engaging. The staff was pleasant and extremely respectful and courteous . The food was to die for! Everything we had from the Chef's tasting was divine and we loved it. I did have the elderberry and lychee martini and it wasn't my favorite but my mom had the Bellini and she loved it. Beautiful venue and food not to be missed.

I came with my wife for the six-course omakase. I had a Groupon, and the staff seemed just as attentive to me as they were to everyone else. I had ordered a drink that took a little while to get out, but our waiter brought it out immediately when I inquired about it. Both my wife and I enjoyed all of the food. We agree that the sashimi courses were the best, but everything was wonderful. One of the cooked dishes, the "squid pasta", was somewhat lackluster compared to everything else; on its own, it is a well prepared dish though. We may not have come in without the Groupon, as the prices are a little high, but we definitely plan to visit again.

From checking in to signing the bill, we were very happy with the experience at Nobu. All of the items on the menu looked great, so we decided to be daring and leave it up to the Chef. Basically we worked our way through the menu and items not on the menu; with each plate presented was a new surprise. The staff was helpful and very knowledgeable. Overall, one of the best restaurants I have ever visited.

Very underwhelmed by the food! We dined here for my mom's 50th birthday and we were surprised by how uninspired and unimpressive our meals were - and we had at least 10 different things. I'm from Austin and am used to being spoiled by fantastic restaurants like Uchi. This was not on par at all, especially not for the price. It seems like this is the place everyone thinks they're supposed to love, but it just doesn't live up to the hype.

I always frequent Nobu. The past couple times their service has been off a bit. They have multiple people working your table rather than one waiter which just gets confusing and causes service to be off. I really do enjoy Nobu's food, but honestly I am beginning to get fed up with the service that isnt up to par and matching the level of restaurant this is.

I've heard rave reviews about Nobu in the past but was underwhelmed. I took my wife there for a nice birthday dinner but the noise level was very high and it was hard to have a conversation. This was a Monday night so I would expect there to be some element of quiet to the restaurant. Also, the menu was lacking in options and descriptions. The food tasted fine but just overall was an unimpressive evening.

The food is amazing along with the sake selection. Be prepared to pay for it though, the wagyu will set you back $32 per ounce with minimums ranging from 2-6oz. But lets face it, you're dining at world famous 'NOBU' ... biggest disappointment was the service. Not worth getting into details but I'll just say this, as amazing as the food was I have no plans on returning. When you're spending $150+ per person you expect a full 5 star experience, not just half. I've received better service in McDonalds drive thru. My advice, take your money over to Fearing's at the Ritz.

First, I will start off saying that Nobu's food is AMAZING! However, when you are spending the money that you do for the food that you get, you expect a certain level of service to go along. I hosted a bachelorette party here and our service was terrible. We had to wait almost 1.5hrs to get our food & there were a couple of us who got our food way before everyone else. It ended up that some were finished eating before others had even received their 1st course. When you are in a group, you should all get your food at the same time or close to each other. We then had to wait almost another 30-45min to get our check and for everyone to pay. As much as I love the food, I honestly don't know if I would go back based on that experience

Our best Nobu experience since Aspen in 1999! Dishes were served individually, all at the appropriate temperature. Our waiter William, from Lima, Peru, was instrumental in the selection and timing of the meal which included some old favorites as well as new creations. Flavors were innovative and zesty, such as the soft shell crab with watermelon salsa and the tempura king crab with jalapeño.

My husband and I left with the opinion that we were underwhelmed and that the place was over-rated. To be fair we only had the sushi, so I cannot speak on the other parts of the menu. Our order was miniscule, but I guess that's expected at a place like this. That would'nt have been so bad if the sushi was amazing, but it just wasn't. The service was very friendly though. Always a place we keep in mind for special occasions, Nobu never disappoints when it comes to the food. We started with uni and oyster shooters, and seafood ceviche. Loved it all. Sea bass and Alaskan black cod were beautifully prepared and the word delicious is not enough. And we now always ask for the Mateo roll. I could personally eat it daily and be happy. Our service started a little slow and disjointed, but our server Mike stepped it up and turned out to be very pleasant to work with. He knew the menu well and was very polite and friendly. The sushi chefs accommodated a special request by my Japanese mother, and she was ecstatic. My only issue: I wish they would enforce the dress code a little better. No cut off shorts.
