Diner Reviews
  • "Everything was fantastic! My wife and I dined at Nobu for our 1st anniversary. We have the 6 course tasting menu and each dish was as great or better than the last. My wife at the salmon sashimi and said it was delicious (she has never liked any salmon!). Great atmosphere, service, and food. We will be back for sure!"

  • "The food and service here is impeccable. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the great wait staff-they never missed a beat. The beef tenderloin dish was delicious as was the other courses we had. Highly recommend."

  • "The food was out of this world. It is pricey, but worth every bit of it. The service was good and the manager came over and was very friendly. A terrific experience !"

  • "Nobu Dallas not only lived up to its reputation, it far exceeded it. We had 6 course tasting menu, which I would highly recommend. each dish was exquisite, unique, masterfully presented, and absolutely delicious. The diversity and range of flavors were remarkable - in fact, stunning. And the portion size was generous - particularly for such a tasting menu. The restaurant itself was chic, romantically lit, yet vibrant. The service was attentive and refined, without the least bit of "attitude" so common in world leading restaurants. In short, Nobu is a gem, and not to be missed."

  • "My wife Michele and I thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Nobu in Dallas. It far exceeded our expectations as they were set in Vegas at a tiny spot in the Hard Rock. We had yummy cocktails, tasty sake and I even got her to try the Sashimi. Loved the Sea Bass and Monk Fish Pate. She enjoyed the lightly seared spicy tuna too! Thanks for a great night!"

  • "We did the chefs tasting. Over seasoned and disappointing"

  • "The food was good (although I've had slightly better). We got the omakase and after the first course, it took 20 minutes to get the second course out to us, so that was disappointing."

  • "Cold appetizers were amazing and very different taste, I had seafood plate and it was delicious"

  • "Outstanding food but very expensive. If you are planning on getting full, then you should eat a snack before you come."

  • "We head out to Nobu for the restaurant week. It was a great experience the service was really friendly. I bit noise but not bad. I would recommended every time!"

  • "The food was excellent and the service was the best we have had! The dishes were carefully executed. The cocktails were also delicious!"

  • "First time visit, service was poor, server kept forgetting the drinks then the food failed to arrive at the table for everyone at the same time so one person was left waiting and they got there food after everyone was finished. Do not expect this type of service from a 'highly' rated restaurant. Portions are abysmal for the price, the servers do not even advise that u may need sides for a complete meal...it's laughable, left the restaurant feeling in satisfied. It's overrated, nothing special... Disappointing experience.do to waste your time and money..."

  • "I thought the restaurant was so cool. The portions were quite small and very pricey! The cappachino dessert was perfection."

  • "We had a reservation for 12. They put us at a table that was hard pressed with 11. Our 12 person showed up an there was simply no way he could fit. The manager was argumentative very unprofessional. We offered for part of the group to move to another smaller table. He was downright rude. The food was good not awesome though. We might try it again with a smaller group, but not sure how many people would go back."

  • "I came with a coworker on an international trip. The food is very delicious, especially the chocolate miso cappiccino. However, don't sit beside the kitchen, there was some strange smell coming out of it(I think it is a special source). Everything else is just perfect. A lot of couples there, it was romantic and very impressive. Will definitely come back to visit soon."

  • "This was the first visit to Nobu for two in the group. One had dined in the Monte Carlo location earlier in the year and loved it. We had made the reservations for Restaurant Week. We arrived a few minutes early but we were seated immediately, which was nice. Initially the waiter brought the regular menu and we glanced at that. The prices are high. We had to ask for the Restaurant Week menu, and when we did he seemed put off by that. The food was good, but the portions were so small for the price. The food definitely was not up to par for the price. The ambience of the restaurant is nothing special. Needless to say, I seriously doubt we will ever return, nor will I recommend to others."

  • "We tried Nobu Dallas during Dallas Restaurant week. We were disappointed with food selection and the taste/quality. Service was not exceptional as well. It was just the kind of service you would get at any lower to mid end restaurant. It just was not "Wow, this is Nobu" experience. I do understand that you had limited option for dish selection for restaurant week to fit the cost, however, just remember there are customers who decides to come or not after this "tasting". Price usually does not matter to us when the food is worth it but after tasting their restaurant week menu, it is just not worth it to return."

  • "Vickie was my server and she was phenomenal. Sweet , funny, and engaging. The staff was pleasant and extremely respectful and courteous . The food was to die for! Everything we had from the Chef's tasting was divine and we loved it. I did have the elderberry and lychee martini and it wasn't my favorite but my mom had the Bellini and she loved it. Beautiful venue and food not to be missed."

  • "I came with my wife for the six-course omakase. I had a Groupon, and the staff seemed just as attentive to me as they were to everyone else. I had ordered a drink that took a little while to get out, but our waiter brought it out immediately when I inquired about it. Both my wife and I enjoyed all of the food. We agree that the sashimi courses were the best, but everything was wonderful. One of the cooked dishes, the "squid pasta", was somewhat lackluster compared to everything else; on its own, it is a well prepared dish though. We may not have come in without the Groupon, as the prices are a little high, but we definitely plan to visit again."

  • "From checking in to signing the bill, we were very happy with the experience at Nobu. All of the items on the menu looked great, so we decided to be daring and leave it up to the Chef. Basically we worked our way through the menu and items not on the menu; with each plate presented was a new surprise. The staff was helpful and very knowledgeable. Overall, one of the best restaurants I have ever visited."

  • "Very underwhelmed by the food! We dined here for my mom's 50th birthday and we were surprised by how uninspired and unimpressive our meals were - and we had at least 10 different things. I'm from Austin and am used to being spoiled by fantastic restaurants like Uchi. This was not on par at all, especially not for the price. It seems like this is the place everyone thinks they're supposed to love, but it just doesn't live up to the hype."

  • "I always frequent Nobu. The past couple times their service has been off a bit. They have multiple people working your table rather than one waiter which just gets confusing and causes service to be off. I really do enjoy Nobu's food, but honestly I am beginning to get fed up with the service that isnt up to par and matching the level of restaurant this is."
    Dined on 7/15/2014
  • "I've heard rave reviews about Nobu in the past but was underwhelmed. I took my wife there for a nice birthday dinner but the noise level was very high and it was hard to have a conversation. This was a Monday night so I would expect there to be some element of quiet to the restaurant. Also, the menu was lacking in options and descriptions. The food tasted fine but just overall was an unimpressive evening."
    Dined on 7/14/2014
  • "The food was good but not memorable - the staff however was beyond excellent. Everyone was kind, even though we were there using a Groupon. The staff knew it was my bf's birthday and came out with dessert and candle for him. Overall, I'd return."

  • "This is our second visit. First time was restaurant week, so so. This time we tried the 6-courses chef menu, includes yellow tail sashimi, salmon sashimi, squid pasta, wyagu? beef, tuna and salmon rolls and espresso foam ice-cream. Portion was just right. Sashimi was fresh. Beef was perfectly seared. Great service and atmosphere, will be back."

  • "The food was outstanding and our waitress did an excellent job of describing the fusion of Japanese and Peruvian influences on the food. Service was excellent and the restaurant offers a great atmosphere."
