John, the chef, is really creating great dishes with local ingredients that are currently in season. I had braised lamb with French lentils that was superb. Loved the little bit of feta mousse that just added that extra richness. The salmon with Carolina Gold rice and preserved lemons was lovely. And the s'mores dessert - great! Lastly, but never least, the service (this time Patrick took extra care of us) is really a model of what great service should be. I was very impressed at how perfectly cooked it was to medium rare. It was a work of art really. It's a must if you go to Noble's! On this occasion, it was out of mussels. Also, the caramel cake dessert was hard like shortbread.
