  • "We have been to Noble Fare several times and it never disappoints."

  • "The food was amazing. We live in NYC and the food was as good as some of our favorites in the city."

  • "We wanted a special restaurant for a 37th anniversary celebration. Wow!!!! We will always remember Noble Fare and the fabulous meal that we enjoyed there. So glad I found this gem and I would not change a single thing. It was the perfect evening for our anniversary."

  • "Always seems to have great food, good wine selection. Location a bit away from the crowds."

  • "Downstairs (Main Dining Room): Fabulous ambiance and decor. Great dishes. Romantic. Observation: Dress code is confusing (customers show up dressed elegant or business casual, yet staff dress code seems way more relaxed). Upstairs (Bar): Small. Crowded. Somewhat dirty. Bar stools uncomfortable. Furniture can use some repairs. Service personnel running through bar area frequently. Would be great if staff smiled once in a while. Customers waiting in bar area for their "TV Dinner." Recommend not ordering food at bar unless you don't mind elbowing once in a while."

  • "Wonderful food , great service. Will be back often."

  • "The food was fresh and made with garden to table varies. The tables are way to close to each other that the waiter could hardly get around the people. The food was good, but not great for the price."

  • "Excellent food and service. Wine list is definitely not the mainstream."
    Dined on 3/26/2014
  • "The restaurant was swamped due to a music concert nearby and the pre-concert crowd filled every table. The restaurant should have brought in extra staff or not taken as many reservations for the same time."

  • "Which can be quite nice. Excellent food, excellent service, excellent ambiance. This restaurant continues to excel."

  • "Noble fare is always excellent. The scallops are always Devine as is the fresh catch. We have never been disappointed. Service, food, atmosphere, wine list is the best in town!"

  • "Noble Fare is my favorite restaurant in Savannah. I love the quiet corners, the staff and the food is over the top."

  • "Sometimes a restaurant does not live up to the hype and disappoints! Noble Fare did not. Excellent across the board in all categories. We entertained three out of town couples. We had a great table and the wait staff especially Stephanie handled our every need. This was one of our best dining experiences in Savannah."

  • "Parts of dining here were great, parts left a bit to be desired. While the entrees were excellent, the grilled (read charred) romaine salad was all but inedible. It smelled like cigarette butts and tasted like one would imagine a dirty ashtray would if one licked it. The menu is short and they were out of some items during our visit. A bit too inconsistent and pricey to recommend or to say we'd eat there again if in Savannah."

  • "This restaurant came highly recommended and we were not disappointed. My wife had the grouper which was flakey and tasty with a light sauce. I had the sea scallops, also very nicely done. The bread is served with a paprika infused olive oil. First time I have had it but it started me looking for it on line. Excellent, The restaurant is in an old home and very well laid out. The staff were attentive and the room was amazingly quiet which I appreciated. We will go back on our next trip yo Savannah"

  • "We went out early on a Saturday night and had a wonderful meal at Noble Fare and then walked around downtown. Great place, we will go back."

  • "We were just visiting the area and wanted to have a quiet and memorable evening meal. We found Noble Fare listed under "Best of" ... and I must agree! We were greeted by name upon arrival ... the start of great service. Special touches abounded in the beautifully appointed dining room, surpassed only by the quality of the drinks and food. Congenial servers made the evening melt away into a smooth two hours. Noble Fare lives up to it's name in all ways while the intimacy of the space encourages noble acts from all who enter the portal. If you want an evening to relax and need special pampering, you won't go wrong with Noble Fare."

  • "Showed up at 5:29 for a 6:00 res to enjoy bar before dinner. very cold Savannah day (3/5/14). Pulled door handle, locked. Fine. They don't open til 5:30. I wait few mins before I check again, locked. Look at my phone, 5:33. Wait few more mins, not sure what to do. An employee walks up, gets in while I'm 2 ft from the door and I joke "he's gonna get us in" (supposed to be open at 5:30!). He goes in, we're left standing to wait more. I check again, and it's re-locked! Now it's 5:37 and I say screw it. Went to Distillery nearby had great drinks and nice dinner. I will be back in Savannah many times in the future and I will be sure to tell people that despite reviews, if their punctuality is any indication of their food or service, they suck!"

  • "Noble Fare wasn't open when we tried to visit on our last trip to Savannah in 2012, so I reserved in advance this trip. So glad I did! Pleasant 15 min. walk from the Hyatt. Impeccable service - attentive but not obtrusive. I wish I'd written down our wine choice, a balanced dry red blend. I enjoyed grouper on bed of risotto and spinach (delicious - flavorful and just-right seasoning); my companion said his duck was prepared perfectly. A 5 star experience, highly recommended!"

  • "We went to Noble Fare for Valenties Day. They have a special prix fixe dinner that was perfect. The lobster tail and steak main dish was done to perfection. Service is always top notch at Noble Fare, and this night was no exception. We opted for the additional wine pairing. The choices were well matched and a very generous pour. All in all it was a very memorable evening."

  • "I planned this dinner for a romantic evening with my girlfriend. She commented repeatedly on the atmosphere and how much she enjoyed it. The restaurant was very quiet until later in the evening when a couple large groups were seated. The restaurant is fairly small and conversation can carry, especially with a loud patron in attendance. Service was top notch. Our waitress was at our table routinely clearing plates, filling glasses, and maintaining an orderly and presentation worthy place setting. We had the tuna (app), and scallops. The food tasted good, but not as great as it had been on previous visits to this restaurant. The presentation of the food was excellent and the portions were larger than they looked."

  • "My wife and I had Valentines Day dinner there and it was it a great experience. I have been to Noble Fare with my parents before and had the same experience as well. Great ambiance and food to match as well. The wait staff was very nice and attentive. Fantastic service. Hope to go there again soon. I would recommend this restaurant for a more special occasion or a romantic dinner. It is an upper scale restaurant which also carries a larger bill at the end of the night. It is worth every penny I will continue to go to this restaurant and recommend to everyone to try it!!"

  • "The cheese plate on the menu was what caught my eye and cinched the Noble Fare as the restaurant of choice to celebrate my husband's birthday since he is such a cheese lover. Not only was the cheese great, but the grouper and scallop entrees were very tasty and among the best in quality, freshness and flavor we have enjoyed since we moved from Washington DC. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, but not overbearing. And the small size of the restaurant and ambience made for an intimate dinner and memorable birthday celebration."

  • "Great food, prepared and presented well! Beautiful environment! They didn't have a bottle of wine that we requested. When we ordered two glasses of a similar wine, they brought us one glass and said that's all they had and we would have to order something else. Really, that's unacceptable in today's competitive environment. Go for the delicious food but expect to receive typical Savannah style poor service."

  • "My wife and I go to Noble Fare about once or twice a month. The food and service are always excellent. It's our favorite spot in Savannah."
    Dined on 2/8/2014
  • "Noble Fare is true to its name. The ambience is spectacular with white tablecloths, candles, and a dimly lit interior. The old walls are covered in brocade wallpaper and the floor is carpeted so the noise level is very low. It's a perfect setting for a romantic evening, but make sure you have time to sit and enjoy the mood! Service is polite and Southern friendly but the food arrives slowly. The menu is short befitting a small kitchen. The items they do offer they have perfected. I had the duck, duck, duck, goose -- great flavor but the duck was over cooked. The baked romaine salad was a nice change. My friend had the grouper special, I wish I had chosen that! Delicate and well executed. Overall worth putting on your list to visit."

  • "We were a party of 6 celebrating a 65th birthday. Noble Fare is definitely a place to go for special occasions. The atmosphere is elegant but not stuffy. As there was only one other table occupied that night, it was pleasantly quiet. We also had the mostly undivided attention of the two servers. All of our food choices were very good albeit quite large which I didn't remember from our previous times there. No one was able to make it to the desserts which looked amazing. I would recommend Noble Fare for a fine dining experience in Savannah."

  • "Noble Fare is a family owned and run restaurant. Their personal care of the clientele and Chef's focus on great menu items shows consistently. One of Savannah's best dining experiences! Also great Wine Tasting evenings!"

  • "We were visiting Savannah for a few days and had our New Years dinner here, a couple of days late, to avoid the set menu and crowds. Absolutely loved the décor and the service was excellent and the food even better. Duck three ways, scallops, and the chocolate cake...not usually my thing, but one of the best versions of this I've had. I would highly recommend it for a cozy evening with a special friend or friends."

  • "When we came here originally back in 2011, it was an absolutely mind-blowing experience. The food we were served was unlike anything we could find in Chattanooga. I've often compared the moment to a "religious experience". I had a chicken dish and my girlfriend ordered the swordfish. We loved it. We loved it so much so that we took a special trip back to Savannah in 2014 just to go back to Noble Fare. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to our first experience. I think that's because it's hard to duplicate that kind of magic. The food was good, but I don't think that Patrick was the chef that night which I feel made a difference. Our server was also not at the top of her game. It was still good, but the magic was missing."

  • "We were visiting from out of state and had reservations at 9:30 for New Years Eve. We actually left our group of friends to make out reservation and then were made to wait another hour before we were seated. I have NEVER had to wait for an HOUR after a reservation time. We were seated with no apology it even recognition for their poor scheduling. And because service was so slow, we completely missed the count down to the new year. There was nothing offered to the diners who were also kept there late. Not even a toast or a cheap glass of champagne. The food was about the same level of an average wedding caterer."

  • "We have had special dinner evenings there and love it. We especially love the tasting menu with the complimentary wines. We love Noble Fair for our special evenings because we know they will present a wonderful meal in a romantic setting. We look forward to bringing friends in the future. It was a wonderful culinary experience. Friendly and helpful and very pleasant staff. Wine list was just right. Loved the evening and look forward to returning. Noble Fair is my favorite restaurant in Savannah."
