Diner Reviews
  • "Our party of four was delighted by our Saturday evening at Noah's. Our server was determined to offer us her best, in spite of the bustling scene. We enjoyed the crudo, the tuna tartare, the duck polenta, and truffle fries, the calamari and the salads. And, as ever, Noah's served us terrific cocktails. Thank goodness for a reliable and friendly dining establishment in Greenport."

  • "Went specifically to sample all the items from Nepal for this special night. All were outstanding and I hope they add some of them to the regular menu or offer as regular specials!! REally great treat- nowhere else on the East End can you find food from Nepal and possibly all of Long Island!"

  • "I've been wanting to try Noah's for a while. Went for a quick snack. Truffle cheese puffs were disappointing. Red snapper fish tacos were amazing. What was most disappointing was the poor service and we were sitting at the bar right in front of her."

  • "Simply put, the food was excellent, service good but the restaurant is very loud. Takes away from the experience."

  • "Noah's does not disappoint. We dined as a group during Restaurant Week which could for some restaurants be a nightmare, but not here. The menu was very appealing for everyone in our party. The service for a busy night was outstanding. The food and it's presentation was amazing. Three delicious courses of perfectly prepared food. The only complaint, Noah's is noisy."

  • "Underwhelming selection on the restaurant week menu . Did not think the good was anything special."

  • "The food was fabulous! Service phenomenal! The portion sizes seemed to be smaller than a lot of restaur ants, but they were actually the perfect size to be full, but not overly stuffed, with no doggie bag needed. Just perfect! Everything was very tasty and not dripping in fat or butter. Felt satisfied and full when we left. Lovely blend of flavors! Thanks Noah! Perfect dinner, just a bit noisy when the place got more crowded."

  • "Noah's has become our "go to" place in Greenport. There is a good variety of tasty treats to keep anyone happy. The drinks are pretty good, too. Glad it is doing so well and hope it will be around for a long time to come."

  • "We went to Noah's on a Saturday night - it gets crowded so make a reservation. The food was very good. We ordered a variety of 6 small plates and it was perfect. Everything was delicious! We also ordered desert which was amazing too. Drinks were fabulous, worth the price. Highligh recommend this restaurant."

  • "My wife and I stopped in for lunch and found ourselves ordering several of the "Tastes" and "small dishes," as if eating tapas. Every dish was perfect - nothing overcooked or bland, but seasoned tastefully and, in some cases, surprisingly different, but delicious. The wine list was a thoughtful assortment of both international, national, and local L.I. wines. We found it so good for lunch, that we returned the next evening for dinner and brought my wife's mom along. Again, we were not disappointed. We will surely be back again, and hope to dine al fresco on the sidewalk of downtown Greenport as soon as the weather permits. We were there in mid-March. Try it! You'll like it!"

  • "Whether capping a great day, or "fixing" a rough one, we can always count on Noah Schwartz and his team to deliver. Honest, excellent flavors, served by a crack team are the norm here. The Kobe sliders were decadent, and the buccatini with chicken Bolognese was unexpected and delicious. We'll be back soon!"

  • "Delicious food -- predominantly small plates, though they also offer entrees. Nearly everything we've had was wonderful -- for example, crab-stuffed deviled eggs, local oysters, mussels, duck BBQ, filet mignon sliders. In the past, Noah's has been noisy when busy, but on our most recent vist, perhaps because of new(?) ceiling baffles it was quite pleasant even though busy."

  • "We were a party of three for lunch on a cold winter afternoon. The view to Mitchell Park across the street with the carousel and skating rink is very pretty. The selections were great for lunch and the staff attentive but not overbearing. The white wine selection by the glass was not great but it was my own fault not to ask to taste ahead of time. The tables are set far enough apart for good conversation and the acoustics were fine at lunch. It could probably get pretty noisy on a Saturday night in summer but that is not a time we would go. I would definitely return for lunch or week night dinner."

  • "I have been to Noah's in every season, with groups large and small, for big meals and small snacks, with and without young children. The experience is consistently satisfying. The food is top notch and the vibe is just right- Buzzing but not a scene. You can't go wrong for dinner, lunch, or just a drink."

  • "I took my girlfriend here a few days after Valentine's day (couldn't take her out the day of because I had work) and we really enjoyed it. The restaurant has a different atmosphere then we're used to. The walls and the decor are all colored mainly light blue and white which gives the restaurant a very nautical feel as soon as you walk in, which we found refreshing compared to the usual earthy rustic colors of most restaurants. But more importantly the food was delicious. I'd highly recommend the Tasmanian crab tacos for an appetizer and the duck was cooked perfectly."

  • "My husband and I ate there on Valentine's Day, which is also his birthday. We both chose the Chocolate Tasting menu with wine pairings. The entire meal was delicious, especially the trio of chocolate dessert. The waitress was very professional and even put a candle on my husband's flourless chocolate cake. Dining @ Noah's is always a treat."

  • "The food was good, but not outstanding. However, the portions were small and the price was disproportionately large. It isn't worth it."

  • "We went for Valentine's Day. The chef had prepared a special menu using chocolate. He was very inventive in using his 'special' ingredient. The food and service was wonderful. My only complaint was he was to free with hos use of pepper - everything had too much pepper."

  • "I surprised my husband with dinner at Noah's for Valentine's Day. It was our first time dining there and we had a great experience. We enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant, the service (Jason was our waiter) and the beautifully prepared food. Thanks Noah's for a beautiful Valentine's Day meal."

  • "Any traffic delays in the LIE are long forgotten when you sit down at Noah's on a Friday night. Everyone makes you feel welcome and relaxed. The Kobe Burger with lettuce that is actually crisp is my standard. It's possible the best value burger in the North East. All round thus is an excellent restaurant. Just don't tell too many friends."

  • "For the second year in a row we went to Noah's for the chocolate-themed tasting menu on Valentin's Day. And for the second year it was superb. Several interesting dishes, not too heavy and including some local products, accompanied by several small glasses of sprakling wines from a local vineyard. A marvellous evening!"

  • "My partner and I have gone to Noah's since the restaurant opened whenever we are prepared for a bit of a splurge. The food is interesting without being precious, the service is polite without being obsequious, the decor is both simple and elegant. We like the emphasis on small plates--two small crab tacos, polenta topped with pulled duck, a multi-colored beet salad. If I could afford it I would eat here once a week."

  • "My husband and I took advantage of a long winter weekend and drove up the north fork of Long Island. We stopped at a few wineries and stayed the night in cute Greenport. Our dinner at Noah's was absolutely excellent (and that's by our picky NYC standards.) I had a scallop special and my husband got the fish and chips which were not your average dish. The crab stuffed deviled eggs...to die for. And our fig salad was perfectly balanced. Also great was my spicy peach cocktails. Highly recommend Noah's!"

  • "Delicious food -- predominantly small plates, though they also offer entrees. Nearly everything we've had was wonderful -- on our last visit, crab-stuffed deviled eggs, local oysters, mussels, duck BBQ, filet mignon sliders. My one reservation about Noah's has to do with the noise level -- the hard surfaces make it hard to hear your companions when it's busy in our experience. Our last visit was a Sunday night in January, so it was blissful. (In fairness, we noticed ceiling baffles; if these are new, they may improve the situation even when busy.)"

  • "I had the Sea Scallops on mashed potatoes with spinach & mushroom. The scallops were fresh & delicious. The whole dish could have had a bit more personality i.e. spicing. The mushroom was bland and rubbery. My friend had the lobster roll with fries. Now that's a dish that could take some reinvention. Just toasting it to "take the chill off" doesn't do much. And surely there's a better vehicle than a white bread hot dog roll? Wine list had some good choices especially for diners on a budget. That said, I like Noah's and will go back. It's a welcome and delicious locavore kind of place without being trendy or over-priced."

  • "Great selection and all good. You can have a few small plates, mixed with an appetizer, or choose an entree or simply mix and match with the rest of your party. You can't go wrong, food excellent."

  • "I keep going back because sometimes the food is outstanding. This visit I had the fish and chips. The fish was soggy tasted like it was just heated up. When I ask the young man if the fish was fresh he said I don't know. Oh well maybe the next time it will be great."

  • "We ate there on a very quiet night. Football playoffs, Golden Globes, middle of winter in a summer town -- chef owner was out of the country. Nevertheless, our waitperson was a very personable pro and service was perfect, the room was really pretty, and the food was fine, well cooked but not to rave about. Place was, as expected on such a night, pretty sparse. Given its size and bar setup, I can imagine it being a totally vibrant and much noisier scene in season. We'll be back"

  • "We were a party of 6 on New Year's Eve - not the best evening to judge a restaurant, but Noah's did an outstanding job. Our server was Megan and she did not miss a beat - the restaurant was full but we did not suffer in any way. We all really enjoyed sampling all the small plates and they were delicious and well presented, as well as the main dishes. They had a special New Year's Eve tasting menu but we were able to order anything from the main menu - a real plus!! At midnight they had a screen showing the ball drop, music was on and it was very festive. I recommend Noah's - they know what they are doing."

  • "My wife, kids (both age 9) and I spent New Years Eve at Noah's and the food was fantastic. There was not a plate on the table that was not incredible. We love the Seafood Tower. This is the 5th or 6th time at Noah's and each time has been great. I cannot leave the review without mentioning the service - so friendly , so attentive, and they make Noah's one step above the other excellent choices in Greenport. We have been to many restaurants where the food was good but the service was poor. In this case it would be hard to tell you which is better."

  • "Really wanted to like this place but it was barely ok. Biggest complaint was that our group of 4 was seated right at window- sun was right in our eyes - blinding, terribly hot. The staff had to know of this problem with this table yet even with other tables available, we were seated here. Hate to go on and on but it was impossible to enjoy meal or conversation. Food was just ok & no one liked the lobster & macaroni. Quite expensive &very, very noisy (lots of bar patrons) & this was Sat lunchtime. Tuna burger was not cooked to order & fries were overdone. They should seriously consider a shade or blinds, or not seat diners at this table until the sun goes down. We were shielding our eyes & no one offered to reseat us. We won't go back!"
