Diner Reviews
  • "We made the trip to Noah Grant's from Fishers, hoping for a great experience based on reviews here. We like the charm of downtown Zionsville and Noah Grant's is a local place. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to our expectations. The service was very friendly and charming, but the decor was really outdated and shabby, and the food was very blah. We got a house salad, which was wilted and served with 80s-style accompaniments. Also got cocktails and wine, which were good. Husband got Ahi tuna, which was decent, and I got fried perch, which was also good. Decent food, just nothing special and not worth the price. They really need to update their decor and food to match!"

  • "We enjoy coming here for our Anniversary. They give a free dessert for anniv. although this time we weren't in the mood, it's just nice that they offered. They dropped the drunken clams from the appetizer list, which was my favorite, but the menu sizzles and everything is perfectly prepared. The jumbo shrimp quality is something you rarely find inland. they were out of Green Beans on a Tuesday, which is weird cause there's a grocery about a mile away, and that's the only reason I didn't give an outstanding food rating. 86 items should be explained by the server. we're not wine drinkers, but the list is impressive"

  • "Polly is always delightful! The halibut cheeks are absolutely the best!"

  • "Great sushi lots of wine to choose from. Small restaurant which can lead to some loud neighboring tables bug the food makes up for that!"

  • "We have been here many times and the chef is always coming up with great new ideas. Service is amazingly friendly and helpful."

  • "We've been to Noah's several times before and loved it. A destination dinner for us. We live far south of Indy and drive up the scenic way. We were celebrating our anniversary and we requested a nice, quiet, romantic table away from hubbub and we got it! A lovely table with curtains that you could shut should you want to. We had a wonderful dinner! The green mussel appetizer was outstanding and the seafood pasta was excellent. Loved it! Everything was perfect."

  • "We had a wonderful evening here. Great ambiance, great food, and attentive and pleasant staff. The kind of restaurant where the rest of the world drifts away and, for the meal, it's just you and your tucked away table and exciting food and good company. Highly recommended."

  • "This experience was similar to previous ones. Good service from a wait staff that knows their stuff. Great food from a manageable sized menu and a cozy environment."

  • "Took another to Noah's for their first time. They loved it! We all had some version of oysters for appetizers ... delish! We each had different seafood dishes for our main courses and all were full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The bread pudding was a nice finish to the evening. The service was top notch. Highly recommend Noah's."

  • "Very good service and food. However seating was atrocious. Was seated at a table too small for two and right next to entrance. Too noisy for an nice dinner."

  • "We had a wonderful time with food and you will be unable to find another place to match the fine dining experience."

  • "We are regulars and have always had very good service and excellent meals. Unusually wide selection of sushi."

  • "We originally went when they first opened and have been going on a regular basis. Excellent seafood on the menu, outstanding service, well appointed but not lavish interior, and reasonable prices. A great find for us in Zionsville, and we drive up from near Cumberland IN."

  • "We had a delightful evening entertaining business client and his spouse, with great atmosphere, outstabding service and knowledge of menu. Food was excellent with great taste, good portions,"

  • "Zionsville IN downtown is a very fun place to walk around. A few years ago we discovered Noah Grants, and what a great discovery! This is one of our favorite restaurants!"

  • "Everything we had was delicious. We started with lamb meatballs which melted in your mouth. For an entrée, I Noah's filet and my wife had crab cakes and both of us were very pleased with our choices. I didn't try it but I heard the lobster Mac is out of this world. I'll be trying it and their sushi next time. We will definitely be returning soon and highly recommend Noah Grant's."

  • "My wife and I went to Noah Grants for the first time, celebrating our anniversary. Initially I planned dinner at one of the chain restaurants, but glad I changed my mind! We had a great dining experience, it was 5 stars all the way around - service, food and atmosphere. We will definitely go back!"

  • "Our waiter, Casey, was very attentive to our party's needs and accommodated 2 table changes for us right from the start. He made excellent recommendations on seafood options for us (being Ash Wednesday) and was a real pleasure to talk to about new changes coming for us (like a baby next month while closing on our first home). I'll remember the food, but the service is what will bring us back!"

  • "Food was excellent & plentiful ! Service was friendly & good ! Whole evening staff was helpful & friendly . Would definitely go back another time ! A bit noicy maybe if there with another couple but worth trying. Lovely evening !!!!"

  • "We like everything about Noah Grant's except the venue. It is too small for the amount of business they do and too chopped up and has too many tables crammed in. Except for this, it would be a fine dining experience. I would not go there with a group of more than six people, they don't have a place to put large parties."

  • "Great sushi, Mac and cheese, and wonderful oysters. Nice menu to suit pretty much any taste. Great for a romantic meal or special occasion but also laid back enough that we brought our infant and toddler. Can't wait to go again."

  • "Pricey but unique: Zionsville casualness coupled with very fresh seafood (that's all we sampled from the menu). Both of us enjoyed half price Blue Point oysters (Thursdays) and the Seared Tuna. A really delicious meal. We went early after reading reviews complaining about the noise level. Noise was not a problem. An expensive but memorable repast."

  • "Second visit was not as good as our first. While the server and service were excellent, we were seated fairly close to the entrance, so the space seemed a bit enclosed and busy at times. The bigger concern was that the food was not a wow as in our previous adventure...advice to all....may want to stick with Noah's anchor-marked items. Almost everything we had (spider roll, blue crab wontons, and the evening special monkfish/potatoes/asparagus) was good, well cooked/seasoned, nicely presented. However, they were not memorable. The only item that was really notable (how can you forget bacon & blue cheese dressing!) was the wedge salad (adorned on menu with Noah's anchor)...I'd order again next time...we'll return, but stick to anchors!"

  • "The only negative was that our table wobbled, but the waiter fixed that. We were really pleased with everything we ordered. We both look forward to returning soon to try some different selections!"

  • "My husband and I were lucky to get into Noah grants on valentines night after having to cancel reservations downtown due to weather. It was cozy and romantic. The only exception was our table was very wobbly. My husband got the filet which he stated was one if the best he's ever had. I got the dragon fire sushi which was delicious as well. I also got the mini salad which it was nice they offered a side salad at a low price although the lettuce was a bit wilted. Along with that, the calamari, Mac and cheese and berry dessert were above par! The service was excellent!! Next time I would just sit at a different table because ours was in the back corner. Very happy we spent our valentines day here!"

  • "The food was out of this word. There was four in our party, and all four of us were very pleased with the presentation and taste of our food! Service was not even close to being acceptable. We knew we would have a longer than average wait due to it being Valentine's on a Friday night, but the young lady (Meagan) who was our server at a 4 top in the bar area, was less than stellar. We waited over 20 minutes for out inital drinks, and over 40 minutes for our apps. Once dinner came out 1.5 hours later we were able to enjoy it."

  • "An early evening dinner proved very enjoyable. The only disappointment was that they were out of lobster. That was the reason we came. The Surf & Turf was changed to Filet & Crab Cakes. The service couldn't have been better. Thanks Will. The Calamari was the best appetizer ever."

  • "We were seated in the little alcove by the lobby. It wasn't the best seat in the house. The smell of burnt saute' pans was overwhelming a lot of the time. BUT, the seafood risotto was amazing."

  • "Such a nice change from the chain steakhouses, and bigger restaurants on the north side. Love the specials they routinely change so you can look forward to trying something new! Tired of the same ole same ole menus that never change in some other choices. Keep up the great options Noah Grants. A must try for those who have not"

  • "The server was awesome. He was very familiar with the menu, able to suggest complimentary wine, and a wonderful host. The dining area is small, and the owners utilize every nook and cranny. Be prepared to have a great meal, good conversation, and awesome service."

  • "There are no places like this in Carmel! Zionsville is very lucky to have this gem. Carmel is all pizza, beer and chains! There is nothing that compares to the food at Noah Grant's anywhere in the area."

  • "Very much enjoyed the meal. This was our third visit at Noah's. The steak and appetizers were supurb. The scallops however were tough and of the frozen type was our impression. Not the sort of scallop that we are use to eating like at Shaws crabhouse in Chicago.,. Otherwise another great meal at a very fine restaurant."
